Am more conversant with Volkswagen. For theirs, you allow the car cool down. Then add your fluid making sure the car is on a flat surface.

A quick question.. Should the transmission fluid be drained when hot or cold? And conversely..can the transmission fluid be poured into a hot or cold gearbox?

The colour should be pinkish-red... as shown in the picture attached. Honda has phased out the ATF-Z1 and replaced it with the Honda DW-1.

In other words. I should replace my transmission fluid.

Once you hear noise from the front wheels.. Like metal rubbing against each other.. And your alignment doesn't aim front.. You will also feel a wobbling sensation.. The tyres aren't fixed anymore so they dance on the road.. When in a pothole.. You'll hear a clinking sound..
At this juncture. The ball joints are gone and it's only a matter of time...
I know because I experienced all of the above before replacing the ball joints.
