Foden is best played as an Am or any side of the midfield (be it Lcm or Rcm). Palmer play was more purposeful, creating goal scoring chances while Foden was making short passes. His long passes are either over hit or hit opponent. Foden should be used as LWF while Palmer RWF Bellingham as number 10 or 8 along side Maino or Gallagher.

Foden look lost again in England shirt. Palmer has being the brighter star so far.

Like I said during the back and forth with oga Airmark, what we need is to upgrade the support cast.

If the front 3 can guarantee 15 goals each, and you have a Palmer/Nkunku that chip in another minimum 15 from position 10, this is more valuable to the team than splashing £100m + trying to buy a marquee striker.

If we sign this two we don’t need to sign number 9 as Nkunku and Jackson can play there.
