Go and watch Benfica's Ruben Dias.

Also, I usually do not trust individual defenders in a back three, but Milan Skriniar has been quality for some time now at Inter.
Well, according to YouTube highlights he seems good but is he commanding? We need a commanding and based CB to pair up with either Rudiger Or Christensen. We have so many promising and fringe players, we have to go all out for quality and established ones.

I really hope we buy a CB.
Yes, but aside Koulibaly I don’t see any CB out there better than the ones we currently have. If we can get Alaba who is experienced to play Lb or occasionally CB it will be good.

Enough of politics and religion on this thread. Time to discuss Chelsea solely. What’s the way forward now that we have Warner and Zyech?
Between Alaba, Chilwell and Tagliafico who should we go all out for? Pedro is certain leave at the end of the season, who and who is leaving? Is Pulisic fit to play against west ham? Me think we should sell either Barkley or Loftus cheek to create space for Havertz.

My first eleven for next season should be;

Kepa; azpilicueta Rudiger Christensen Alaba;
Kante Kovacic Havertz; Zyech Warner Pulisic.

This is shocking though. Mount is so disappointing in decision making and its so annoying.
This is why we are going for Havertz, a proper number 10 that got the passes and precision in the final third.

Kante should never be removed from DM ever again.
Kante Kovacic and Havertz should be our three midfielders next season

Barkley is not from our academy, so it’s easier to make scape goat always. But injury prone RLC at 24 is still a potential Chelsea fans are waiting for. At 21 Barkley was already bossing in Everton, getting nominated for young PFA etc
Loftus cheek is overrated. Sign Havertz, sell either Barkley or Loftus cheek. Most of this English players are overrated. I pity the club that will fall for Sancho’s hype and sign him.

He intercept the ball and then pass it to the forward men. We need to sell Jorginho sign a based DM to pair up with kante, Kovacic and Gilmore as back up. Sign Havertz and one great CB with leadership and command(this is why I so much love Virgil).

Chelsea bought Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech for a combined fee of £78.6m.

Arsenal bought Nicolas Pepe and David Luiz for a combined fee of £80m

He had constipation before that final. You’re still analyzing football like a kid in 2020. The coach encouraged him to feature in that final, to show you how important he is to the team.

Someone his team mate composed a song for after the triumph is who you are trying to talk down.

rudiger won't be effective regardless who will sign, he lack many things as a defender
Things like what? Rudiger is just like Matip that started getting praise after the signing of VVD who brought coordination and stability to Liverpool’s defense. Chelsea need a VVD and I suggest we sign Koulibaly. We need a based quality CB, not a mobile one since we already got Rudiger.

Now this is funny..
Whats funny there? That we parade Zouma(brawn, average technique and positional sense) or a weak Christensen that is easily subdued by average strikers or is it inexperienced Tomori for a club like Chelsea and in epl where other top teams have at least one quality CB with experience. We need a constant back four not changing them on every match day.

I'm just saying that compared to a lot of left backs currently out there, ours are still good enough or else we want to upgrade to the highest quality not someone like chillwell, especially for the amount quoted.

We need to focus on our goal keeping area which is very troubling at the moment.
A goalkeeper is not the priority at the moment but the unstable CB pairing. Almost every goalkeeper suffers from unstable defense. Chelsea need to sign a quality experienced CB to pair up with Rudiger and then a left back. We need stability in that back four before worrying about goalkeeper if at all.

Saw this comment on r/reddevils and thought I should share it here...
" I am very excited to see how two of our best midfielders Pogba and Bruno link up together however I fear if the overhype by the fans will cause a massive disappointment if they don't work out together.

I remember back in the time under Van Gaal, we signed Schneiderlin, one of the most inform DM and Schweinsteiger, Germany's captain with great experience. We all had massive hype for these two to carry our midfield for years to come. And guess what happened, they went out of the door and did not meet expectation.

Similar to Mourinho's third season when we signed Fred, people thought Pogba-Fred-Matic would be the best midfield trio in the prem. Fred has massively flopped that season and did not work well at all.

So in all means, I am trying to push myself not to make the same mistake again. Having two creative and flair midfielders which we hadn't had for so long post Fergie gets people hyped especially after having such a dreadful first half of the season with Lingard and Pereira, but let's not get too overhyped. There is a posssibility that these won't work well.
Man u should sell Pogba. Sign VDB and Grealish if they want to move forward. Bruno already brought what was expected of Pogba.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by hensben(m):
If Man U want to see pogba’s best don’t give him the responsibility of tackling or dictating play in that midfield as he is lackadaisical in those positions, just give him free role in AMF position, in order words, allow him do whatever he likes upfront. In his Juventus days, he had Pirlo(a dictator in midfield) and Vidal(a tackler, a box to box midfielder). In France too same thing; Kante and Matuidi, that is why we all saw his best in those teams. Another thing is he lack leadership skill, just like Neymar, you don’t entrust leadership to them in a team, be it on or off pitch. Pogba is a highlight man, an attention seeker so it is best Man U has two to three quality experienced players that he will be looking up to, to bring out the best in him.

If Chelsea are to get back to the top, Rudiger would NEVER be the CB to get us there. He's too clumsy on the tackle, rash when making challenges and is not the best at aerial duels. Even playing from the back set him no follow.
He's no different from Zouma other than the fact that he has a German passport and has played more professional games in his career.
I would take a young Gary Cahill over Rudiger any day... With Cahill at least u know u have someone ready to put his head in front of someone's boot at the back even though he is limited with the ball at his feet.

At least Zouma still has age on his side but Rudiger is supposed to be at his prime or very close to it right now...
You are right but I think with a quality CB playing along side him will improve his game. Remember football has evolved too so Cahill type of defending is going extinct. I’m thinking of future here since we have so many young players currently.
