PietroRico: again there's a difference between needing to dispatch a player to merely clear up space for new arrivals and needing to dispatch players to fund new arrivals
SAF's refusal to deal with obvious weakness in the squad and opting to continuously paper over cracks is part of why we got into that mess that we're only just beginning to dig out of
We're having to address accumulated loopholes from over the years all in a short time, partly because of him, some would argue
Again it's unrelated to the fact that you aren't spending because you are apparently cash strapped. ...
If Chelsea had the financial clout of Madrid or United.. . U wouldn't be waiting to sell players for new ones to come in...
Who says u can't get the new ones and dispose the supposed deadweight afterwards madrid sold sneider and robben to sign cr7, they sold ozil and higuan to sign bale and they sold di maria to sign james. man u n madrid are not same in this context.. sorry try again. |

PietroRico: there's a difference between having the money to actually spend and not spending... .. And not spending because there's no money
Your lack of transfer activity is more closely related to the latter. .. Stop making it seem like it's jose's call No be only past the stage of wasting money And u spent 27m on cuadrado! Makes perfect sense
U can blow United's perceived extravagance out of proportion all u like (like those guys posting fake Shaw fees and fictitious wages for Morgan and darmian)
It doesn't change the fact that mou didn't suddenly turn to Wenger overnight Mou used schurell fee(30million euros) to sign cuadrado. There is money to spend but the squad is okay for epl challenge. |

coogar: who did mourinho develop at porto fc? benni mcCarthy? deco? or who? you just come here to talk nonsense. porto fc was a team of mercenaries from their goalie to whoever. jose mourinho did not develop a single youngster at porto. You are the one spewing nonsense if you don't know. Who was deco and benny mcarthy before the treble? you even have the guts to call them mercenaries, keep trying hard to discredit mou's success with fc porto like ferguson didn't sign players to win 1999 treble after many years of trying. Btw, go check meaning of mercenary. Fyi, mou statue is outside fc porto stadium till eternity. Here were the players he turned into world beaters. Players like paulo ferreira and ricardo carvalho were porto academy.Mou won europa and ucl with them. Before mou, they went trophy-less, he built them into world beaters.

PORTO FC disagree...He bought n bought? but he was successful with it unlike LVG who spent and spent last season. |

Anyone here who thinks if Jose actually had 200m to spend, he would still be in this state is not being honest with himself.. . which state? my frienemy chelsea squad is okay, just two addition to compete for ucl. Even as that the squad is balance with jeremy boga and moses. |

Maybe we are just being paranoid over nothing really, I mean, all these other teams strengthened the last time too, yet, we won, the squad is fresh nd our young players are growing into mature men. you are right mr. Mourinho did not promote anybody from madrid castila, he bought and he won trophies, Mourinho did not and have not promoted anybody from your reserve but has won you the trophy. Man City nko, i'm not even sure if those once ave resrve team sef, they bought all their players and have become winners and top contenders, PSG the same. If true Jesus wiped out those curses with His blood then why are human(men mostly) still struggling before they eat, why do women still feel pain when they want to give birth, so you see. We ought to be like the birds in the sky who doesn't worry on what to eat because they know The Lord will always provide. |

Van Persie: Van Gaal never gave me a chance at Manchester United
Robin van Persie has hit out at Louis van Gaal for not giving him the chance to prove his fitness at Manchester United.
The 31-year-old completed a surprise move to Fenerbahce earlier this month after falling spectacularly out of favour at Old Trafford during Van Gaal's first season in charge.
Van Persie made just four appearances over the final three months of the season after aggravating an ankle injury against Swansea City in February, and revealed he feared the worst when Van Gaal failed to bring him off the bench when United trailed 1-0 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in April.
“That was one of the first signals things weren’t going in the right direction,” he told the Sunday Times.
“I asked to play in the reserves, to get my minutes, but after was on the bench again. The atmosphere changed between me and Louis and people at the club saw it, but I was always professional. At that point I didn’t think to leave. [Van Persie's wife] Bouchra was happy. The kids were happy. I was happy in Manchester.
“But I was still thinking we could come back from holiday and start from scratch. He had changed his mind about me before. When he took over Holland he said to me ‘You’re the No 3 striker.’ I was ‘O...K...’ but I fought and became the No 1 and his captain.
“But when I came back, it wasn’t an honest battle any more. Fighting to get back in the team wasn’t given me as an option. He was sending me to Pitch Two. And I’m a mature player. I’m not stupid. I didn’t get angry or emotional. These things are part of football, part of life. You have to make the best out of any situation so I’m doing this by moving on.
“I know Louis as a national team coach and now I get to know him as a club coach. And there is a difference.”
Hmm..I still believe LVG's tactics and philosophy hindered Falcao's rehabilitation. |

Yes! a curse and it was not wiped out in NT. However, we as humans are trying our best to put things right by placing laws to abolish or rather control such acts. Though, in Africa Nigeria precisely, the law is not yet in full force but we shall get there very soon. |

Ghostlady: thats one beautiful write up for women standd..
MY VIEW: In this age and time, women have been abused by men in unthinkable ways.. and this same men still come out to refer to women as sluts?
Am always filled with anger when i hear nigerian men refer to women as the lower sex and as such women are always molested by men everyday..
When these men are caught in the act, they quiclkly blame the women and the society at large condemns the woman.
Does it mean that women have no voice again? it took JESUS to save a woman who was accused of adultery by a village.i still ponder: where was the man? or did she commit the adultery all by herself?
So you see, gender discrimination started a long time ago. my only fear os that african mentality to such issues is so trivial compared to the europeans.
MY QUESTION: WHO WILL SAVE THE AVERAGE AFRICAN WOMAN FROM FURTHER HARM AND MOLESTATION FROM THE EGOIST AFRICAN MAN? Go read the curse God place on both men and women you will understand why it's so. |

Falcao joined Chelsea to prove Premier League doubters wrong, says Mourinho: Radamel Falcao took a substantial pay-cut to join Chelsea in order to prove wrong his Premier League doubters, manager Jose Mourinho has revealed. The 29-year-old signed on a season-long-loan from Monaco this summer in a deal that significantly reduces his reported £265,000-a-week (€382,000) wages offered by Manchester United last season. His spell at Old Trafford saw him net just four times in 29 appearances – casting doubts over his recovery from a succession of injuries – yet Mourinho is encouraged by his desire to make his mark in England. "It's his motivation," he told reporters of Falcao's intention to change perceptions from his spell at United. "When you are not a top player, you never feel frustrated. When you are a top player, you have to live with this all through your career and you adapt to it. We felt his frustration. "He is not happy that in England people think he is not as good as he is and his motivation is there. "He did a lot of things to come to us. He lost money to come to us, he didn't want to listen to other offers. He helped us a lot to do a deal with Monaco so, all these things together, we think we can help him and he can help us." Falcao scored 70 goals in two seasons at Atletico Madrid before making a €60 million transfer to Ligue 1 with Monaco in 2013 but has seen form dip after sustaining a knee ligament injury in 2014. The Columbia international, who was given an extended holiday due to his participation in the Copa America, will link up with his new team-mates on Tuesday for their US tour. I just hope so Jose. |
