Hello everyone. Something happened last night that I'd like to share with everyone here. First of all I'd like to thank bro CharlyG1 for creating this thread. I've grown so much spiritually since I joined this thread. Before joining this thread I used to have spiritual attacks anytime I want to ignite my spiritual life. Those series of attacks leave me weak in the spirit and depressed. That would make me abandon prayer and become lukewarm cos the lesser I prayed, the lesser the attacks. A few weeks ago, I made the decision to draw closer to God no matter what. Two days after making that decision, I stumbled upon this thread and I've been greatly blessed.
Back to last night, I said a short night prayer and went to bed. I slept off and dreamt that I was watching someone from my room window which was facing the backyard. At the backyard, a lanky man wearing only shorts was leaning against the wall and peeping periodically of anyone could see him. He was standing close to our gen house. He wasn't aware that I was watching him. In the dream, I saw only our big gen. This gen powers everything in my house including electric iron. I said to myself in my mind still in the dream that this man has come to sabotage our generator so that we won't have light. After I had that thought, I began to slowly wake up from the dream. As I was waking up (when I was still half awake and half asleep), I felt a foul presence in my room coupled with this ill feeling i had. I tried to wake up, it was then I realised that I was having sleep paralysis. Then I felt something pressing down on me. My first instinct was to shout Jesus but it was with difficulty and it sounded unintelligible. Then I realised that I could wake others if I continued shouting so I stopped. Then I recalled that Bro CharlyG1 once wrote on this thread to be calm when experiencing sleep paralysis, so I stayed calm and began to pray like this "any demon or spirit in this vicinity trying to attack me, let the Holy Ghost fire consume you. I begin to wage war on you by the power in the blood of Jesus" immediately, the attack seized and I came out of the sleep paralysis. The foul presence in my room was gone too. I just couldn't believe it. That was the calmest I've ever been during an attack. And it happens to be the shortest attack I've ever had. I felt like I was finally free from demonic manipulations and I felt bold enough to face them again if they come. It was liberating and I felt excited. I did another prayer before going back to sleep and I slept without any troubles. I just want to thank God for the work he is doing in my life.

The word of God says, Then you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. (John 8:32). Satan has blinded the mind of unbelievers & some believers that walk in darkness. The truth is Satan and his demons are already defeated by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. This is the knowledge & wisdom the enemy doesn’t want you and I to have.

You were attacked or oppressed by a python spirit. This type of demon is from the marine spirit world. Like I said these are defeated foes and you exercised your authority in Christ Jesus to enforce their defeat.
When I stumbled upon this thread early this year, the eyes of my understanding became enlightened. When I prayed and fasted, I began to receive revelations from God which gave me an insight on some issues concerning my life & family.
I was also attacked by marine spirits and other kinds of demons but God saved me. They knew I wasn’t gonna feed them anymore through my sexual sins and so they weren’t ready to let go without a fight. I endured and never gave up and continued to fast and pray for weeks until they finally stopped their attacks against me. Just three nights ago, I was attacked by a demon and with confidence I commanded that unclean spirit to stop its operation against me and flee in the name of Jesus. The attack stopped instantly and I heard a loud noise like something heavy fell on the floor of my bedroom. I smiled, thanked God and slept well.

It is important as a member of the body of Christ to renew our minds with the word of God and subdue the flesh so we don’t open a portal to these demons into our lives.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”(Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬)

Before you sleep at night, always reflect on your day. Confess any known sin then ask God for his mercy. Satan and his demons will have nothing on you. ...”Resist the devil and he will flee from you”
(James 4:7).

They are generally called either devils or demons.

Wicked spirits reside in the second heavens. ...“Spiritual wickedness in high places”

Rulers of darkness of this world or ruling spirits or fallen angels take authority over lower spirits. Most of them reside in Marine spirit world and ruled by the Queen of the sea, coast, Indian Ocean etc. While the others reside in the sky and earth.

Power demons take orders from the ruling spirits. They have authority over lower demons.

Principalities have no authority but take orders from higher spirits.

Ruling spirits are the evil angels that possess humans and invites the lower spirits to also take possession of the body, soul and spirit if unsaved. “Then Jesus asked the man, ‘what is your name?’ ‘My name is legion‘ he replied, for there are many spirits inside me” (Mark 5:9). The ruling spirit spoke through this man and confirmed there are lower spirits living inside him.

False prophets and prophetess, Witches and Warlocks operate through these ruling spirits (fallen angels or spirit guides). The highest level a witch can attain is the position of ruling spirits.

Satan and his host of demons have already been defeated by our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross.
“He defeated the rulers and powers of this spiritual world. With the cross he won the victory over them and led the away as defeated and powerless prisoners for the whole world to see” (Colossians 2:15).
However, some believers still walk in darkness and have made the evil spirits the authority to be the rulers & lord of their lives.

As children of God we should stand in this victory and exercise our authority in the name of Jesus over Satan and his host of demons.
Don’t dwell so much on these unclean spirits for they have been dethroned and defeated. Though @CharlyG1 is doing great by exposing the works of Satan so we don’t get deceived. Remain blessed!

Hi bro CharlyG1. Please I have a question for you. God has commanded us to forgive and forget when offended but sometimes I wonder how it is possible to forget when you don't have memory loss. How I understand forgiving and forgetting is that you remember the wrongdoing against you but you remember it without pain or grudge or malice but you make a mental note not to associate with your wrongdoer ever again, you treat them like they don't exist. Before coming across this your thread, my prayer life was practically non existent. But since I came across the part where you encouraged us to pray every morning and night citing the vision you had of the Angel of God slaying some creatures as you slept, I resumed praying in the morning and in the night. But two nights ago, I had a dream where I went to visit my ex colleagues at their place of work. I interacted very well with everyone save for one lady, Let's call her kate. I completly ignored kate. I don't know if the dream is trying to pass a message. Let me explain my beeef with her. Kate has narcissistic personality disorder and she really used it to deal with me when I was her colleague. I can't begin to tell you everything she did to me. But she made me depressed and was 1 of the major reasons I quit the job. The place of work was a street children's home. We provided a safe haven for them. We reformed them, taught them about Christ (our church owns the home), and did therapy for them. We reconciled them with their families before sending them back home. And we made sure that they were treated well thereafter. All of this would have been very easy to accomplish if most of the boys were not demon possessed. They were exposed to a lot of evil on the streets, so they had one spiritual problem or another. I noticed this and started to pray for them. To my surprise, the prayers were working and the demons were releasing their hold on the boys (I didn't really have much of a prayer life before I took it upon myself to pray for the boys. I stopped praying after I quit working there). Because of this, I started getting attacks. It started as spiritual attacks but that didn't shake me cos I'm used to having spiritual attacks by now. Then it became physical, I had near accidents etc but God protected me. The last phase was when the devil decided to use this lady with the narcissism to attack me. She even turned the boss against me as well. She made my remaining time there hell. I used to cry almost everyday when I got home. On one of those occasions when I'd give in to tears, I asked God why Kate was doing this to me, I asked him how I have wronged her. He told me it's not her, that the devil is using her to get to me and he asked me to forgive her. I did over and over again but when I reached my limit, I quit the job. God wasn't happy with that and I know. I feel like I disappointed him but I don't think I was prepared for the heat at that point. Right now, I have relocated and I'm in another state. Kate has tried to reach me on Facebook but I completely ignored her. I know she is still toxic cos I'm still friends with my other colleagues and sometimes when I chat with them, they tell me about Kate and how she's still the way she is. So my question is, is it wrong to completely ignore Kate knowing that she is still toxic? I've forgiven her already and I take everything that happened at my former workplace as a lesson but I don't want to ever have anything to do with her anymore. It's just that the dream I had two days ago seems like it is passing a message. What should I do?

The real enemy is Satan and his host of demons. Your ex-colleague yielded to the devil and was under his influence to operate against you.

You are supposed to forgive and pray for her sincerely. and exercise your authority in Jesus Christ by commanding the unclean spirit in her life to stop using her from operating against you and flee from her life.
“If you see your brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray to God who will give them life” (1 John 5:16).

If she tried to reach to you don’t ignore her. Don’t feel hatred and bitterness against her in your heart. (Galatians 5:19-21)

I think some applicants could not input their state of origin and LGA before submission. It doesn’t mean they’ve been shortlisted. Though it indicates the recruitment team is currently reviewing their applications.

Even though I appreciate getting insider information from the GTs, I don't think they should jeopardize their current job just for the sake of giving us info. If the code of conduct given to them is "do not share official information", then we should let them stick to it. Those who wish to share may do so by proxies and I believe that has been the case. A lot of companies make their new employees sign a non-disclosure agreement, so there is nothing new to it.

You made a valid point but I’m not saying they should divulge every sensitive information.
Most EH candidates are in dire need of updates from the corporation. There’s nothing wrong in sharing such info to keep their hopes high since NNPC have failed to address the general public. If NNPC had wanted it to be a secret they couldn’t have informed the GTs. Do you think NNPC isn’t aware that some would still go ahead to share? Well, the information has been passed by a well meaning Nigerian that cares.

You are right. The term “advanced tracking” is used to instil fear into them. Though I understand some GTs may have shared some personal information in the past on this thread or another that could be used to track them. However, they can create a new moniker and use a VPN to provide useful information.
It was indeed laughable seeing a GT asking others to unquote him/her on a faceless forum. NNPC don’t have the resources and time to track down moles who leak information. As a GT, learn the job, work smart & don’t engage in corrupt practises if you wanna keep your job.

Well, yesterday a meeting was held @ the Abuja Zonal Office. In attendance at the meeting was the Abuja OPSCON, Sarki and his team except Shakur & Mrs. Toweh (Head, Engineering and Standards) who barely has 3 months to leave. Politicians asked him about the recruitment and wanted to forward their candidates but he quickly responded to them saying the recruitment was over. I know some persons here are still making moves through their senators based on the info they get here but I advise them to channel their energy elsewhere because the pressure group have been settled in the first batch.

This was marvel68 post on Jan 3rd.

I believe they didn’t answer the job related questions perfectly well. If not answered correctly which may be due to not meeting the minimum requirement or an error you will be automatically disqualified without human screening and will receive regret mail the following day. After submission check your application status immediately. If the status remains Application received, then the hr person would review it on or before 27th March.
This is just my opinion, I feel those who were required to apply may have been shortlisted. Probably a change of plan along the line to apply on their career website.
You can try your luck by applying through the career link. There’s no harm in trying.

He never gave a specific timeline. The language “soon” was a way of assuring the general public that his staff were working tirelessly to bring the recruitment to a close but people interpreted differently.

After the fiasco with the GMD last year when I heard him say at a board meeting that APL will be out Dec but nothing happened, I'll advice everyone should just move on with their lives. All these endless pining & tension won't do you any good. It'll come when it comes.

A lot of things are influencing the release of the APL and some of them are outside your sources & the GMD's control & that's why nobody can tell you for sure when it'll come out.
