I need a very Credible and Trusted lawyer to help me investigate land thoroughly in mainland Lagos State.

The lawyer must be able to furnish me verifiable copy of his/her previous land search report.

What I am expecting from the lawyer:

(1) Give me a permission to check his/her license with the state bar association.

(2) Going to the land to do a proper and personal land search with your trusted and designated Registered Surveyor to determine whether the land is free from Government acquisition or not and it must be documented to give me a formal report about the state of the land.

(3) Visiting the land physically to detect or deduce any physical encumberance, with clear pictures of the land and suroundings.

(4)Meeting up with the Agents/ Sellers to trace the history of the land and if there is any issue what so ever or the tiniest red flag to doubt its authenticity you should not endorse it till the seller satisfy you beyond reasonable doubt.

(5) Visit the land registry at Alausa and Court search if there is a case on the land and and to confirm all necessary checks and landed paper documents. NOTE: (Alausa and Court search are two different searches) and must be done.

(6) Finally investigating the owner/owners to deduce whether there is a history of fraud.

These Could result in Multiple trips to the Land Registry, The Land or owner or whosoever till you get your facts right.
