No more insult, let's read and waka. There is freedom of speech. No freedom of insult. Bro, if u av info as per admission, post it here so others will benefit. Cheers! demoah: You can sip all you want but I find it rude. I cant remember saying anything about TRV, I'm just here to offer admission to who needs it and since you don't need it then move on. I dont know what Nairaland has turned out to be lately. Damn! Talk is cheap for you. I value my family and you dont expect me to give you an award for referring to my family in that way. |

For those just joining the thread and old active participants, we have a tradition here that helps TRV hopefulls to know CIC response timeline and which (month, week) applications they are currently treating. This list also answers questions like; how long will it take CIC to invite applicants for medicals, how long to request for passport after medicals, how long to issue TRV after Medicals/passport request.......etc
The important of this list are quit numerous, and i will implore ALL to kindly work together to keep this LIST going.

It all depend on course. I didn't say it cannot cover do your research and find out. In my case, 6m covers my cost of study for a year. But a friend of mine going for 13months program and the tuition alone is 25kCAD. Can 6m cover that? The school even requested for 2KCAD non refundable. All the best. Moheat: you mean 6m cannot cover cost of study for a year? mehn! this is outrageous! I'd better drop this idea of going to canny to study then |

A friend got admission for Msc oil and gas eng at MUN, the tuition is 25000CAD excluding textbooks and living expenses. My assumption was based on that, good if his tuition is not up to that. All the best Dazlinga: 6m will not cover course of study for adv diploma for one year? Which kind talk be that? Pls my guy in my own opinion, you need to put in more documents like personal statement of account, study leave letter from your firm, introductory letter from that company also..Then convincing SOP..telling them you have been working since after NYSC, also tell them you intend coming back to Naija when you are true with your studies. And show how what you are going to do relates with your present graduate internship. |

Briefly introduce urself and course of study in Canada, explain ur previous education, work experience and its relevance to ur intended course. Explain the impact of the course on your future career and employment opporutunities in your country. Why not pursuing the course in Nigeria. Life after study (emphasis on leaving Canada after ur studies) and home tie. Hope this is helpful. Graviton2: Hello, everyone.
I'd like to ask if anyone kind enough could please explain to me what a letter of explanation is supposed to look like...or maybe, furnish me with an example of one. |

Try to check the curriculum of the course you applied to and see if you can cope. You can also look for the core programming language they will use so that u can start ur learning now. Always better to prepare ahead. Jengbetiele: Hello house, is there anyone currently studying computer science at masters level in any university in canada? I have been hearing of how difficult it is for a nigerian graduate to cope as per programming in particular. I need feedback so as to make a back up plan cos I am trv hopeful. Thanks |

I am preparing to apply for TRV against Fall 2015 but my salary is paid to me in cash and doesn't reflect on mu bank statement thou I have a fixed deposit of 2.8million. How do I go about this. |

Hello house, pls am having little challenge, want to apply for TRV with Humber admission letter but don't want to pay tuition fee as have already paid acceptance & medical @NBCC. My sponsor has 11m in his account as he has stated his the sponsorship letter that he maintained the account purposely because of my education (Pchax idea) because he doesn't withdraw from the account. Please I just want to know if 11m will be enough for 2years study as the tuition fee is 15000CAD plus 10000CAD cost of living. Tanx |
