The driver of the vehicle who immediately jumped out after noticing the flames was joined by passersby and other road users as they tried to put out the fire.

Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo who has never been linked to any woman before is reportedly dating top model, Fancy Acholonu.

International model Fancy Acholonu announced on her Instagram handle that she got her own trailer on a major television show in Hollywood.

Fancy who has only been romantically linked to NBA superstar Blake Griffin is whispered to be in a relationship with Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.

Fancy is from Imo state in Nigeria but was born in Los Angeles. She was home schooled in Lagos, Nigeria while she worked as a model at age 15.

She completed her education in Event management and is a certified event planner.

National Vice President of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), South- South zone, Mr. Eddie Bekom, has died. Bekom, an employee of the Cross River Broadcasting Service, Ikom, died on Sunday evening.

According to source, Bekom, wife and four children had been receiving treatment at the Plastic Surgery Department of the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (FETHA), Ebonyi State, for more than two weeks after their neighbour’s cooking gas exploded.

Bekom’s 10-year-old boy died in the hospital few days after the explosion, while his wife died a week later, leaving him and three children behind. One of the surviving children is in critical condition. However, Bekom passed away on Sunday.

In a statement signed by the Ebonyi State Chairman of SWAN, Comrade Chukwuemeka Opara, the chapter regretted that after all efforts made to save Bekom’s life, he still died after the death of two of his family members.

Apparently, the guy in the said video has reached out to and he has denied that he tried to steal from the DMW Boss.

Identified as Mike he says he never tried to steal from Davido, but instead, he was so happy to see Davido, so he wanted a quick hug.. But then, he was stopped by David’s Bouncers.

Popular rapper, Phyno, was in the news some weeks ago when an Internet personality, Ray HushPuppi accused him and Iceprince of wearing fake wrist-watches. HushPuppi had written, “If you don’t want people to patronise pirated copy (sic) of your work, don’t patronise pirated copy of other people’s work #Hypocrites.”

Having none of that, Phyno took to his Snapchat account to reply. In a series of posts, he wrote, “We are not on the same level. You live and die for Gucci. I will live and die for my people. The hunger is different here man…I’ve got cribs, live in my house, yet never posted it. Bought a house for my mum; never posted it. Got her a car on her birthday last two years; never posted it.”

Sunday Scoop caught up with the Igbo rapper and he stated that he had put the episode behind him. “It is very childish to brag about what I have. I care more about touching lives in positive ways. It is not really about how much you have in your bank account but how many people’s lives you have made better. The good thing is that I have a track record and people know what I do. So it doesn’t really make sense for me to be exchanging words with someone who just came from nowhere and has no credibility whatsoever.”

Shedding some light on his background, Phyno said, “I am happy for how far I have come. My father never wanted me to become an artiste because he felt it wasn’t a good profession. But I decided to stick to my guns and I have proved that one can also have a good life with music. Now, people call on me to mentor their children and that couldn’t have happened years ago. Gafar Amere visits Collapsed Idi-Iroko Bridge, The bridge linking Iwo, in Osun State and Oyo, in Oyo State has been washed away as a result of heavy downpour of yesterday.

The bridge breaking down at the Idi-Iroko has now made journey of about 45 kilometres to almost 80 kilometres as motorists now go through Agoro, Lannite and kieseni road.

The Honourable Representing Iwo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Abuja, Honourable Akintayo Gafar Amere yesterday visited the place to commiserate with the people.

Honourable Gafar Amere while addressing the people assured that he would bring the attention of the relevant government agencies to the plight of the people plying the road which he described as Federal Road.

Some daring people living around the villages now carry the motorcycle to cross the water and they said that it would not be easy to travel almost thirty kilometres to get to their destinations instead of just crossing the bridge.

Other people on the entourage of the Honourable Amere include, Alhaji Gafar Alani Rabiu, Alhaji Oyebamiji Yago, Alhaji Olambamiji, Mr. F. A Aremu among others.
