Health › Re: Nigeria Medical Association Response To JOHESU Advertorial On Yayaleahmed Report by heykims(m): 10:43pm On Jan 15, 2015
I had been thinking for months how this unnecessary power tussle could be solved, and so clear now the answer pops up.
Privatise the laboratory and pharmacy services and it's a JOHESU knock out for life.
Omo! I pity JOHESU wallahi..
Health › Re: JOHESU Picks Holes In Yayale Ahmed Report! by heykims(m): 11:49pm On Jan 11, 2015
I'm really enjoying this thread, NMA vs JOHESU
JOHESUites, abeg forfeit ur permanent staff status to earn a positive yield on the Consultancy struggle.
But even if d nurses, pharmacists etc agree (wch is almost 100% unlikely), I trust the security personnel, messengers, cleaners, record officers etc, they will never consent, never agree, they will explode..
What do we do now?
I hope Buhari resolves this issue sternly
Sai Buhari....

Evvilgenius:
I just wonder why enlightened people like pharmacists and nurses will go so low to form a union with hospital cleaners, technicians etc just to form a large number to fight doctors .
This envy and show is a shameful one.

(I learnt nurses that hv university degrees are not part of them tho)
they were, but just pulled out late last year..

Baba as he is fondly called, retired in Unilorin, and presently in Lautech.

Politics › Re: 2015: NMA Seeks Psychiatric Test For Politicians by heykims(m): 5:35am On Dec 08, 2014
I always say it dt if politicians like Alao Akala had been subjected to psychiatric evaluation, he wouldnt have become d governor of Oyo state, many others re like dt too.
The better truth however is dt a docotor is meant to keep secret d health status of his patients even after d patient's death if d patients want it out of d public #Hippocratic oath
Moreso in mental health where stigma is attached to patients by d ignorant public, revealing d mental health status will promote stigma, contradict d Hippocratic oath nd consequently will sky rocket d suicide rate in d community.
Nairaland General › Re: ‘all Materials Used In Collapsed Synagogue Building Were Approved’ –SON by heykims(m): 6:15pm On Dec 01, 2014
Standard of the materials used isn't the bone of contention here, what the debate is in whether increase in floors is approved nd the last time I checked, it wasn't..
Besides, if one uses standard materials and raise floors of a building meant to hold three from say two to six, will d quality of d materials used serve as immunity for collapse not to take place?

Well, I guess you should make your research on consultant Pharmacist.

Health › Re: How Quack Doctors Exploit Poor People In Nigeria by heykims(m): 7:33am On Dec 01, 2014
In my Fatherland, anything goes. Even asides these seeming illiterate quacks, u see certified pharmacists in famous pharmacy shops offering consultations to 'patients'. They re even bold enough to openly dedicate a room inscribed as "consultation room" in their stores despite d fact that it is illegitimate.
Yet, no one cares to challenge or prosecute them coz we all know dt we re in a country where everything goes..
Health › Re: Johesu Suspend Strike by heykims(m): 6:57am On Dec 01, 2014

baLLoTBOxX:
I don't think you are based in SW not to talk of oyo state. Akala pulls more crowd in ibadan than ladoja. He only lost in 2011 cos accord party added it's votes to APC's. Imagine akala having his supporters work for APC, accord merging with PDP would be disastrous cos they won't be. Able to capture the towns that matter.
U re d one one should probably doubt if u reside in d SW, Akala is nobody in Ibadan, he lost his dignity when he overthrew Ladoja when he was his deputy thanks to his godfather Adedibu.
Ladoja is to Ibadan what Akala is in ogbomoso, nd Ladoja will always pull d crowd anywhere he goes much more better than Akala. Akala is seen as a traitor, betrayer as his antecedent polity defines him.

Sorry to interrupt..
Environments re also normal phenomena in life. Regardless of the answer in the series booklet, I go for E
Normally d character exhibited phenotypically is d inherent gene carried by the individual influenced by the environment. If monozygotic (identical) twins carries gene for tallness but d twins re separated immediately after birth with one taken to Europe nd raised in an average community nd d other remaining nd raised in Nigeria, d twin raised in Europe will surely be taller than d one raised in an average Nigerian society. This is a classical example of an interaction btw gene and environment which is NORMAL.

Phones › Re: These Are What Drains Your Smartphone Battery! by heykims(m): 10:11pm On Nov 24, 2014
Op, but something still battles me. When my battery drops to below 30%, d phone automatically set itself to 'power saving' mode in which d audio profile is changed to general from d initial silent/vibrate mode, screen brightness is increased from its initial least bright setting. I know same applies to many other smart phones too.
These measures to me re paradoxical coz I think they accelerate battery drainage rather than reducing it, or am I wrong?

pharmguru:
you dont know much about pharmacists....do you?
see, pharmacists are not stuck to the hospital like you guys. they can always find a place outside the hospital. the doctors know that and so, in the actual sense, they are the ones feeling threatened by the pharmacists.
and because of their fears of losing most of their work to the pharmacists, they are fighting seriously to inhibit any form of growth in pharmacy education. Little wonder they were alarmed when the issue of PHARM.D came up. they knew that with any slight increase in the parmacists' clinical knowledge, they will be faced with stiff competition.
so dear, its the doctors that are feeling threatened by the pharmacists. and you know what?...i think the doctors "FEAR" secretly that shud the FG meet the demands of JOHESU, they will lose some of their respects and meet with stiff competition. that kinda explain the reason for their strike action. but dont worry sha....it will remain "our little secret".....hahaha
Did I just read dt doctors feeling threatened of losing their work nd respect to d pharmacists?? OMG of all people, pharmacists?
I want to assume dt u didn't proof read what u typed or ur fingers dissociated from from cerebrum when composing d jargons above
Anyway, in psychiatry, they call this positive reappraisal, a defense mechanism. Defence mechanisms re involuntary actions anyway so I understand
