Yes, the nurses accused of discontinuing the incubator care of the new neonate should be investigated and punished accordingly if found guilty. Nurses on strike have no business shutting down incubators or discharging patients, u carry ur personal property and leave. It is the doctors that have the power to discharge patients.
It is the habit of the health workers when on strike to still hold the hospital properties to ransom. U see them locking up instruments, shutting doors absconding with the keys, etc.

As true as it is that there's gross redundancy in the civil service and ten people can be employed for a job only an individual will accomplish, it is also grossly irresponsible for a sitting governor to lay off workers without following the civil service rule.
The max I see El Rufai can do is to place embargo on recruitment into the civil service and this is what many state govts are doing.
