1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. Rest in Hope, we shall be judged based on our works. Good people are welcome by good Angels, bad people are welcomed by bad angels, this is the alpha and omega |

If any man be in Christ . . .. This is a verse that we know, yea, he's a new creation. Just in case you don't know the entire verse. If any man be in Christ. The Bible said, any man, regardless of who you are, you have the right to become a new creation. That new creation is our Spirit or inner man or the hidden man. This man is what many scientist or psychologist refer to as the subconscious mind. Man is a Spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. The soul is the mind, it is where our reasoning ability dwell or strives. The Spirit is that part of us that God reaches to to communicate to us and by it, we can best understand or fellowship with God. The body is the physical part we see. Back to the topic, living the life of God, I saw this verse during one of our prayer meeting back then when I was in school. It says to be filled with the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. When I first saw the verse I was like, how possible, but Iron sharpeneth iron, the more time we spend with God, the more transformed we become. We can be filled with the fullness of God. We can see as God see, we can know things supernaturally. Jer 31:34 throw little light into what God has in store for us. If it were old testament, we could say probably it meant something metamorphically, but here it says, Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. God plan for man is that man should have a fellowship with him. It says, know me from least to the greatest. Regardless of who they are. From the least to the greatest. Paul said, my preaching and my teaching are not with enticing words, but with a DEMONSTRATION. 1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: It's funny we spend all our lives attending Church's where there are little or no manifestations of this gifts of the spirit, and as a result, we often conclude what we have experienced is the standard. The best standard for the present day church, is the book of Acts. |
oyeludef:Noted sir, Thanks for the exhortation sir. |
bloodofthelamb:You are getting it mixed up, I am talking about speaking in tongue as a prayer. I have quoted two verse that referenced speaking in tongue as a prayer, you are still clinging to it being a language. Well, like I told Muttlelaf, I don't think it would be wise forging ahead on this topic, yea, I think this is how far we can go on the subject. Shalom PS: I am not saying speaking in tongue can't be used as a means of reaching out to those with other language, what I'm saying is, I think I get it now, cause it seem you've not spoken in tongues before, well, if that's the point, I think your case is understandable and I might have to apologize based on your limited Knowledge or lack of experience, you know I have discovered those who doesn't speak in tongues always attack speaking in tongues and I believe that's exactly the case here. |

SarkinYarki:Buhari is a joke gone bad |
In 2015, Atiku was with APC. He laboured for the party, spent on the party and even volunteered his private jet for Buhari/Osinbajo campaign shuttle. He was then seen as a compatriot and loyalist. He teamed up with other APC members and consciously rooted and voted for Buhari. Then, Atiku wasn't corrupt. Today, Atiku is an opponent against APC and he's now corrupt. They didn't know him to be corrupt when he was in their gathering. Gone are the days when people result to personal vendetta to gain masses' votes and sympathy. Nigerians, don't let anyone use your head to play ludo game. Let's debate policy on how we can move Nigeria ahead and hold government accountable. Corruption is a very serious issue but is too primitive for our advanced intellect and the country underdevelopment status. Let's talk idealistic development policies that we need to move this country forward. We can count at least 10 corruption scandals in Buhari's government that have not been addressed. We are too fixated on corruption and the only national anthem that comes out of Buhari's mouth is "I will fight corruption". Yet his government has not successfully won any corruption case. We forget about serious policies such as health, education, population, security, economy/business environment etc. Our people should embrace critical thinking and ask themselves how Nigeria and its people have improved in the almost four years of this administration. |

lionness:I think you should join politics and make a differences. Be part of the answer and to be sincere, we need lot more people like you to fix things in this country and we can all work together towards making Nigeria a jewel. Are you in or out, am a coordinator in a movement that seeks to be nationwide and we all can be answers to what need answers. |
bloodofthelamb:1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Tongues of men, can be understood by men, tongues of Angels, they are spiritual words that spirits only can understand. But, Paul spoke the two. Tongue of men and tongue of Angel. 1Cor 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. If I pray in an unknown tongues, I really don't know where folks came or limit tongues to being a language, Paul said my understanding is unfruitful when I'm praying. This is Paul talking about his quiet time, if I pray(Paul praying in the Spirit) I do not understand what I'm saying. But what am saying are mysteries. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered |
