I believe the folks that viewed, just were not bold enough to stand the persecution. An average thread has about 12,034 views and a dumber thread has more views than a Christian thread. Unless, its to criticize, they are very forward to that. But don't cave in bro, by the way, the bests of Christians are not in NL, 0.031 percent of the Nigerian serious minded Christians are not on NL. Looooool. see, I love my freedom, but we need to call to remembrance, the word of our Lord, how He said as He did in Gestemani. Pray

How old was Adam when God created him
A simple question. e?
Let's all have a civil discussion, please.
God created man in Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (inner man)

Then God having created spiritual adam, gave Adam shape and form in Gen2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.(outward man)
The time inbetween, unknown

2 corinth 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

A lady came to benny hinn's church, she thought that God had healed her of cancer, she went on to benny hinn's alter and benny hinn prayed for her and gave her microphone to testify. She stopped using her drugs and she died weeks later. She was survived by her husband and four little daughters. With the doctors, she would have survived. Why didn't the holy spirit tell benny hinn that the woman wasn't heal? Especially, when she came to the alter and was handed a microphone by benny hinn. She is not the only one.

Benny hinn said Fidel Castro will die in the '90s. He claimed that was what the holy spirit told him. In benny hinn's church, those that are truly sick, disabled or amputated are not allowed to go near benny hinn neither do they get filmed by the church's o. The miracles are perfectly staged and participants are carefully selected. Oyakhilome does this too. There are many things I could still say about benny hinn.

All these I learnt from YouTube. His fellow business men and women include: td jakes, joyce meyer, ea adeboye, paula white, joel osteen and his wife, creflo dollar, leroy thompson, jesse duplantes, ed young, steven furtick, hill song etc. YouTube have their videos exposing them.
Well, I won't say anyone is right or wrong. Thanks for the piece of information. Thanks

Christianity EtcRe: Understanding Paul by Hier(op): 8:23am On Sep 09, 2017
It has become tradition, where the Holy Ghost through Paul happens to be address a particular circumstance from the judgement or orderliness in the church point of view. For instance, 1 corin 5 is a judgemental verse, and 1 Corinthians 14 is a corrective measure of bringing order to a church, not a person, we must be able to know when a portion of Paul's letter is addressing the church or addressing an erring act in the church and to be sincere, 1 Corinthians 14 is a corrective verse, written to bring order to the church gathering, rather than a personal standpoint, so if you happen to interpreted 1 Corin 14 from a personal or individualist angle, you might misunderstand the entire chapter.

I felt the above post was lengthy, but lemme continue, Paul wrote some letters to address specific situation in the church, if you look at first Corinthians, we see
Paul addressing some specific things in the Church of Corinth as the Lord inspires Paul to write. For instance, chapter 5 talks about addressing situations related to fornication in the church of Corinth, in 1 Corinthians 7, Paul emphatically said, see the bolded,

1 corin 7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

Christianity EtcUnderstanding Paul by Hier(op): 4:27am On Sep 09, 2017
Paul wrote more than half of the New Testament under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. You won't have expected that a book fall from the sky or so, but Holy men were stirred to speak while others write. 1 corin 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

Paul said right here that he has received by inspiration that which he gave to them, and Paul charged Timothy that that which he gave to him, let him also commit or teach unto men who would teach others. 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Jesus said in Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. So, if I give you a message, the message is not for the Jew or middle east folks, but for all, and we all know the admonition of Jesus, how He said both in Matthew28:19, Mark16:15-18 and Acts 1:8 that the gospel must be preached in every habitable environment or settlement.

Halleluhia, praise the Lord, so let's start. Understanding Paul, who's Paul, well, Paul said I labour than all the apostles, but that's by the way. 1 Corin 15:10, but that's by the way, I'm not magnifying Paul, don't be too hasty. Yea, understanding Paul, I guess from the above write up, we can see that Paul's teachings are meant for everyone.

Yea, Paul wrote most of the New testament and the Holy Spirit through Paul said. Romans15:4, that whatever things that were written, were written for our learning, that we might have hope, see Romans 10:14, knowledge brings faith and faith brings hope and strength.

I have noticed many people misquote Paul or Paul's intent while writing his letters, so they use the right verse for the wrong scenerio, and Peter shed a little light about that in 2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

I continue later

The Bible said, we should desire spiritual gifts- 1 Corin 13:1, but how would they desire if they've not known Romans 10:14.

I believe in miracle, and don't quote me if you think otherwise, and the fact that I have not seen pizza face to face, does not mean, pizza doesn't exist. That is how the whole thing started
If this is the case, hmmmm, I am speechless, because I won't lie to you, when you become a full member of a pentecostal church, orthodox church becomes tasteless, and the taste keeps decreasing as the day go by. No answer bro, but she could pray so things would change for the better.

Well, the question is, don't she know that's the mans denomination before getting married to him. She shouldn't be thinking because the husband was a "as she say I do" kinda man. Then its gonna be forever like that

The Holy Ghost through Paul said submit, through Peter submit said the same thing. Why marry someone you won't submit to?

Submit means his authority is final and you do things his way except you agree or otherwise
Christianity EtcRe: They Were Never Addressed As Christians by Hier(op): 11:53am On Sep 08, 2017
MuttleyLaff:
Let me add, that, knowledge isnt free, you got to pay attention

The word Christian, is the Greek transliteration, Christi-anos

So, admittedly, the attachment or commitment to a traditional term,
especially one is known to, addressed as or referred to, has to be a hard thing to break
Certainly, this is a seemingly pious name, to make one, want to bury head in the sand
and not want to know the truth about it
(i.e. be hostile to the truth about the tag Christian or Christi-anos)

The fact, that, you refer yourself as Christian, don't mean that's who you really are
because the truth of the matter, is, that's not what God calls you, it's what the world calls you or says who you are.

Here are a few parallels you can relate to:
Are you a nigger?
Do you refer or address yourself as a nigger?
Do you call yourself, answer back after or when being called a nigger?
What would you say if someone, right now, possibly non-black, called you a nigger?
Have you begun to catch the drift?

Acts 11:26 is not an acceptance verse
rather it is a history verse, informing readers, that the believers, were called this epithet, Christi-anos (i.e. Christian) first, at Antioch

Acts 11:26 is not saying, that the believers, called themselves, the Christi-anos or Christian epithet

By default and custom, the disciples never wrote any letter addressing or calling each other, using the Christi-anos or Christian epithet
if you find any, bring it to my notice.
Please, in your findings, exclude afterthought bible versions or translations

Christian is just another epithet, similar in import, to the infamous word, nigger

Just, as black people suffered as niggers, before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 enacted by the 88th United States Congress
so the early believers suffered, contemptuous ridicule, mockery and/or disdain
and Peter, in the 1 Peter 4:16 verse, IS NOT, under any circumstances, calling anybody or anyone a Christian
but rather, is saying dont be ashamed, if any gets to be treated like a nigger Christian
(i.e. in effect, keep calm and brush it off, if subjected to contemptuous ridicule, mockery and/or disdain)

The person, that used that term around Paul, is a hardcore and die-hard Jew
who knew what he was doing and saying, by using the Christian term around Paul

Agrippa, not only a Jew but a king as well, deliberately and calculatedly, tried to hurt Paul's emotional state or sensitivity.

Do you really believe that Agrippa & the people of Antioch revered Jesus that much, they called the disciples or believers ''Christ-like''?
You do know and understand what Agrippa & the people of Antioch meant by the term Christi-anos or Christian?

But of course, it is better to cat a fish first before you descale and gut it
so Paul ignored the Christi-anos or Christian epithet, uttered by Agrippa, to offend him

He also avoided calling himself a Christi-anos or Christian, instead replied with:
"I wish to God that you and everyone listening to me today would quickly
and completely become as I am (except for being a prisoner)

It would have been the perfect opportunity for Paul to thump his chest
and in King Agrippa's presence, proudly declare he is a christian
but alas, he didnt, he let that window of opportunity slide by.
WHY?

Also, Paul never carried the notion in his epistles that, he or any of the believers is a christian
WHY?

Then God said,
"Let us make human beings in Our image, to be like us (i.e. according to Our likeness)

- Genesis 1:26a
I dash you Genesis 1:26a verse

27Jesus and his disciples left Galilee and went up to the villages near Caesarea Philippi.
As they were walking along, He asked them, "Who do people say I am?"
28"Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say you are one of the other prophets."
29Then He asked them, "But who do you say I am?"
Peter replied, "You are the Messiah."

Mark 8:27-29

Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it
Your ''gist me'' wish is my command

Too bad, many dont discern why and what Agrippa and those in Antioch implied by calling Paul and the earlier believers Christian or Christi-anos
In youth we learn, in age we understand
Certain truths, can only be clearly seen or understood with the wisdom of age and grace of God

Christi-anos or Christian is a misnomer for believers, saints, brothers, sisters, disciples

Acts 11:26, Acts 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:16 are the only three places in the bible where the term Christi-anos or Christian, is found.
On each occasion, the term was used in a belittling, derogatory and rebuffing context or manner
No where in the bible, will it ever be found, any of the disciples, believers, Paul, Peter, say I am a CHRISTIAN...
Same way, you wont say about yourself: I am a NIGGER

I've scrolled up but I dont see her earlier comments on this thread
she, however, is a wise sister, for ducking the Paulic part
well, I must be sincere, but that's by the way. If I had know, I will just put up a write up without quoting you but its gonna address all that. So, I will just pretend as though I didn't read all the above and go to my tent.

Thanks
