SCREENING OF NEWLY ADMITTED CANDIDATES FOR THE 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all successful candidates offered provisional admission for the 2017/2018 academic session in the university and have paid the NON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE OF =N= 20,000.00 that the screening exercise will commence from Tuesday 2nd January, 2018 and ends on Monday 15th January, 2018.

1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

Successful candidates offered provisional admission for the 2017/2018 academic session in the university are hereby advised to report for the central screening exercise scheduled to hold at the MBA Building of the Lagos State University, Ojo between Tuesday, 2nd January, 2018 and Monday, 15th January, 2018.



2.0 REQUIRES REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

Prospective candidates should bring the following documents for the screening exercise:

1. Four [4] recent passport photograph

2. Original and Four [4] copies of WAEC/NECO/GCE/NCE/Diploma/A’Level/NABTEB Certificates;

3. New Scratch card to verify WAEC/NECO/GCE results online [2scratch cards where 2 results are used for the admission]

NOTE: Only One [1] Sitting is allowed for Medicine and Dentistry

4. Original and Four [4] copies of birth certificate

5. Original and Four [4] copies of JAMB Admission Letter

6. Original and Four [4] copies of JAMB Results

7. Original and Four [4] copies of IIVC Certificate for Lagos Indigenes only

8. Original and Four [4] copies of a letter of undertaking

9. Original and Four [4] copies evidence of payment of Acceptance/other fees

A customized Admission Screening Form will be given to each prospective student at the Screening venue.


3.0 SCREENING STEPS:

(I) REPORT AT THE GROUP SITTING:

Confirmation of Candidates’ names on the approved Admission List
Issuance of Pre-printed Clearance Form.
Presentation of Originals Copies of Credentials for Screening to ensure that the Candidates Satisfy Department and Faculty requirements for admission.
Presentation of JAMB Notification of Results to ensure that the Candidate offered admission scored a minimum of 190 and has the required UTME Subject Combination.
Issuance of Rejection Forms to candidates with deficiencies/discrepancies in their O’ Level requirements.
Validation of Notification: Notification of WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB Results (in lieu of certificates) which is more than two years will not be accepted for registration.
Stamp and endorse the Student Clearance Form.
Demand for Independent Indigeneship Clearance (IIVC) from students of Lagos State Origin.
Candidates should come along with a Scratch Card in respect of each examination GCE, NECO, WAEC, NABTEB for online verification result.
(II) ICT OFFICER

Presentation of Original Copies of Credentials, Birth Certificates, Passport photographs and other relevant documents for Screening. This is to ensure that the Credentials conform along with the information posted online.
Ensure that the Candidates being screened are same with the one that sat for LASU Post-UTME.
Ensure that the Original Certificate/Statements of Result of WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB grades tally with those posted online
Endorsement of 2017/2018 Clearance Form.


NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS ARE HEREBY STRONGLY ADVISED TO STRICTLY ADHERE TO THE ABOVE PROCEDURE

change it to desktop mode it will redirect you back to the CAPS home, you will see an option at the left top corner of the caps home then click on admission status, it will view it.

Help me tell them o. I had a coursemate who was admitted alongside, this girl paid all the necessary fees, did Iivc interview and was successful, paid school fees, we even matriculated together o. To make matters worse, she was even staying in school hostel. Alas, when it was time to check matric number she kept checking and complaining to ict. They couldn't do anything about it and she had to leave the school premises about 3 days to the beg inning of first semester exams.
She wrote another utme this year and chose LASU. She hasn't been admitted yet o. Shey that kinda person will now kill herself ni?

I'm not 100% sure but I can't confidently tell a second choice candidate to keep calm. See, the applications received from first choice candidates alone is more than enough. Those that chose LASU this year are just too many.
And, not even up to 5000 candidates will be admitted.
Lasu exceeded it's NUC accreditation quota by a very wide margin last year, so, they'll admit less this year in order to balance it up.
Can you see the reason I made such assertion? Besides, there are no adequate facilities (human and physical) to cater for the academic needs of the student populace presently sef.

Mistake bro...it didn't even come close to exceeding,it was giving 8k last year and could only afford to take 5.5k...

Speaking about that..the thing is most Nigerians are quick to fault when it come to tecno and infinix yet those big conglomerates also make huge mistakes even worse than those made by tecno and infinix

Starting with overheating...the problem was inherited from Arm which cortex a57 and cortex a7 which was susceptible to over heating and throttling which is the reason why lg had to resort to snapdragon 808 in lg G4 and Samsung using only its exynos processor in the then s6 all because of the arm cortex a57 overheating and also was the same case with the cortex a7 used in the infinix zero 2...

But what baffles me is that most wont talk about the boot loop problem in the GOOGLE pixel yet google is the father of android or the numerous wifi and Bluetooth plus the recently problem accompanied with the latest security update breaking the fingerprint scanner on the pixel but Nigerians won't see that..they won't see the red tint on the newly launch touted to be best Samsung s8 duo or the note 7 debacle
