There’s something called offshore charges when you’re sending money to the abroad. But the thing is you can either choose to bear it or the money would be deducted from the beneficiary. That’s why there’s a €100 buffer for charges included in the €10,425 block amount.

So you are saying when doing the transaction, one should choose that the beneficiary should bear cost because of the the 100 euro we are paying as buffer?

On the day of my interview for example; some had theirs with address and addressee (as in a formal letter set up) what is important then was having it hand written. But right now I think you have to type and print it out. The content/stuffs in there matters most.

To add, to be on the safe side, go with both printed and typed with the photo copies of each.
Words have it that some one sub a printed one and it was rejected. Luckily, he went with typed one too.

Embassy looks for the slightest error to send you back home

I have said it countless number of times, people should stop giving information here authoritatively as if they work at the embassy. How can you come here and say embassy has stopped giving dates for winter?? Yes we know the embassy posted on the website but they actually did it to dissuade people from sending them unsolicited messages about interview dates. In reality, they are still giving out dates.... I see people got dates today.. What are we saying?

When you are sharing a message you are not sure of indicate by typing '' NOT SURE THOUGH'' at the end of your message...

This same lady interviewed me and I thank God she did. if u just rely on her facial expressions u will hate yourself. She wants you to know what your saying and be confident about it. Like I said,thank God I was interviewed by her and on 27th of August I got AM for an interview on the 5th. Do u know the Miracle? I haven't funded yet.

You had your interview on the 27th of August and got your AM on the 5th of what?

All these VO issues should not be something to be afraid of. On Friday 19th of July, I was interviewed by this same woman on dread, she wasn't smiling dou but like I have said before, she is cool. My documents got to the alien office on the 23rd of July and I got my AM under 4weeks. Just prepare well, and give points to her, I noticed she doesn't like stories.

The school I’m going is Deggendorf Instition of Technology goinf for BSc course (International Tourism Management/ Health and Medical Tourism) transcript course is Health Education.... And my interview was fine no issues at all

Thanks for your contribution. Yes, she excused herself twice but i'm pretty sure it wasn't to ask any question related to me. The first time, a young lady (don't know if she's a VO too) came to gist with her, she said something about $2,000 if i remember correctly. So she excused herself & went in to talk with her & some other people. I could hear their voices talking, she did same the second time.

To be honest, I really didn't like her attitude during the interview. I expected her to be more professional with the whole thing. There was no phone, and she practically expected me to shout; I really didn't like that at all. And she kept asking is that all? when I answered her questions. I don't know what she saw, she probably made up her mind about me even before the interview was over.

The questions she asked me were:

Why Germany?
Why this course?
Why not English speaking Countries?
Do I speak German?
Do I know anyone in Germany?
What do you know about Germany?
My BSc thesis
The Course i studied
My CGPA
My plans after study

As for my docs, they are pretty straightforward & I can't think of anything that may be wrong with them.

How can VO be parambulating in the middle of an interview?
That's a very bad omen. I have not had of such before. From what you said in your transcripts, it shows wasn't impressed with your application or she doesn't buy what you are selling to her.

Gather the necessary resources you need and all the advice you need and appeal.
I know of someone who got a rejection last year. He appealed and he's in Deutschland now. I'll try to contact him or even link you to him.

Good evening guys, please I'm still yet to get a date, applied on the 15th of July under Cat A, used early October as resumption date. Now they've changed CatA to certificates from 2017, I have a masters degree from 2018. But the AD is still a problem

What date in October did you use as start date

I actually made enquiries with both banks and I decided to go wit access.
Access operates zero balance Dom account, charges are not much, my total charges were around 52euros
UBA don't operate zero balance, u must leave 100dollars in the account. Then exorbitant charges on the transfer

I have never funded it since I opened it....

Congrats Chief on your Interview, you went through a lot with the back and forth cancellations.
To answer your question- UBA transfer rate is higher than Access, and someone mentioned on this forum that UBA doesn’t allow you transfer all your money, you need a minimum balance of 80 to 100 euro. But it might just be his account officer trying to secure deposit. It’s up to you.

The 4 page application form..... He's supposed to print two copies for each page. He printed just one and photocopied them.

What actually gave him out was that he photocopied the original one with his passport photo on it.

why is everyone seem to be going for access bank for funding.. What's so special about them.

Has anyone used UBA before? I opened a Dom account with them earlier this year and I have been in touch with the guy that opened the account for me That day. From what he has told me, it seems i can give them a try.

So I had my interview yesterday with the lady in dreads...

Fate has a away of bringing me to face my fear....

Immediately I stepped in after Mr paulinus don use me shine finish, I saw the almighty lady in dread in cubicle one. In my mind, this most be the much talked about lady. I was relieved when I was directed to go to the visa section for my interview. Unfortunately, after waiting in waiting room for close an hour together with like 20 other people, one security lady came and took the last three of us in the queue back to gate. That's the cubicle where the lady in dreads is. I was like Chai Las Las na this woman go interview me. The way one guy she was interviewing just dey shout they answer her questions got me more anxious.... I almost snuck back to the visa section but like Mr paulinus go say.... Oga here no be supermarket,, we dey follow order for here. So, I brazed up as man wey. While I was deep in thoughts the signal beeped and was next. in a jiff I was right in front of Madam:

Me: good afternoon ma
Madam : good afternoon, your documents please
Me: gave her
After taking my finger prints and other normal stuff... She asked,- are you married, bachelors thesis,
In short, she asked me so many personal and funny questions and we laughed

Finally, she gave me maths questions to solve in less than 14 minutes. Basic maths questions wey dey very easy but as local man don tey wey e never do maths, e take me time.

When I solve finish submit to am, she come dey Holla ooo.
Say I why I no use BODMAS? She just dey Para oo.
I was like nawaoo... How I wan solve something as simple as 2*4 +8 with BODMAS??. She say I'm on my own (na wetin I no like be this - trying to scare me)

Imagine me wey enter embassy 5:30am wey suppose do my interview very early... Na 3:30pm I do am. Why Mr paulinus vex say I dey too fast - this man is very unpredictable. If you are too slow, problem, if you are too fast problem.

Wetin make me no too vex for am na because at last e come give me preferencial treatment - took my documents and arranged them himself.
I no com know what e see for my CV wey make am come dey hail me- biiiiiiiiiiig booooooy. See where you dey work, I like your office..... Local man no know say all na packaging.

Las Las Mr paulinus na very good and funny man.... Do wetin e talk and there won't be a problem.


My advice to those still waiting for AD... If the date you used to book is realistic, calm you all will get a date. From what I saw yesterday, The embassy is trying to attend to everyone. Yesterday alone, only students were attended to. Mr paulinus said he 58 students on his list for yesterday alone.

So, calm down everyone. It shall end in praise.
If you have lost hope, already, use me as a point of contact.
Never leave God out of this endeavor.

I pray, he will finish what he started in our lives by making AM come quickly and also making our movement to de very successful.

I have noticed that too but do not fret, the embassy looks at your enrollment deadline when releasing AM.

I believe they taking their time to verify your SL.

Right now.... I want to know between coracle and fintiba which is cheaper.... I was just told that fintiba is almost 10500 euros now.

Seriously the increase in BA is given me high BP. I don't know how to get the remaining.

Wow, see miracle oooo..... I am so happy for you, after all the trauma you had waiting for a date. You are most favoured bro. You have ample time between your interview and receipt of your AM and visa. If you possibly can, fund as soon as possible to avoid any form of delays.

My boss from all indication it seems God is with me on this German Waka.

My first appointment date was the first August 7th .. I canceled
And rebooked for earlier date.
I got another date June 19th...... I canceled again six days to the day because the category stuff.

When I booked again I couldn't get another date for 3 months.... When I have finally given up..... AD showed.

I canceled my previous booking and rebooked on July 24th using my enrollment deadline 0ctober 14th.

I got 28th August - that's tomorrow.

Guys... My enrollment deadline at Jena is October 11th.

My advice to those with 2.2 who got a date under category A.
DO NOT CANCEL I repeat DO NOT CANCEL. Go for your interview especially if you are going for masters.
Don't let anyone make you make a very costly mistake which you will regret. If you cancel your Cat A appointment and book under B you will never see another date again unless you wanna use a 2020 date.

I'm a victim of misinformation here, I canceled my appointment because of things like these and couldn't get another date thereby losing my AL.

No one here can tell you the surest thing about this category stuff. It depends sorely on the VO....

Its very annoying to see people confidently misinforming people...
