Guys, With this new booking system, what's the implications of canceling your appointment six days to the day of appointments.

Got to the consulate at 5:40am and I met a security man, he asked me to come back 6:15am, which I did .... I was the first on the queue... Paulinus later came out at 6:50am and we we were ushered in, I didn’t have any issues with paulinus as He wasn’t even my fear...my real fear was that I booked cat A and I was going for bsc(although I have a previous bsc degree) after arrangement of our documents I was the first to go in....that was when my heart started doing GBIMGBIM. Category A is within 49 hours.. Sometimes within one day

It's logical for any BSc applicant to book category B.
The 4th criterion in the booking for category A says that the applicant should have a bachelor degree with grade between first class and second class lower and being accepted for a masters degree.

That "and" is in bold, and I know that "and" is different from "or"

So, please, if you are going for another bsc and you have a minimum of 2.2, book A.

That issue tire me. Having 9 ALs, It means that person had already blocked 8 people's chances of getting admission. 2 to 3 schools are enough.

Like I have said before... If you know you have more than one AL, pick the one you prefer most and mail the other schools to decline their offer please and please... By so doing you are doing other applicants good.

How can you hold on to AL you don't need while there's is another person out there praying and fasting to get what you are standing on?

I got 2ALs and I have mailed the other school to withdraw theirs... You need to see how grateful the coordinator was... He was so impressed that he told me that they are gonna give my slot to a fellow Nigerian.

Please, let's do the right thing

The category system favours category A. I applied for the student visa last week Friday, got an appointment today. I had to cancel it because the enrolment date is in Spetember not October.
I hope they answer those people in Category B soon.

This may be entirely not true.
The main thing is for you to get the visa. Once the visa is gotten, you can use it to attend any school in Germany regardless of the city.
What I'm saying in essence, is you can use the Admission Letter from the university of Kiel and get your visa. After that you can switch to another school of your choice.
It only becomes an issue if you enroll in a school already.

But if you are giving a date and one week to your appointment date no admission comes, cancel.

Studentenwerk and SWG are not the same.

Take Studentenwerk like Normal School hostel managed by the uni. I no like am because na only students dey there and you have to leave after your studies. Plus, i am a private person, i am more like on a code nigga.

SWG is "WG" is the Wohnung = residence, . Stadt= City.

So it's a public accommodation scheme. When they find a good reason why you should be in the city (studies or work), then its easier for you. Its not easy to get due to long list, but when you get it, you are okay. The rent is usually below 200 euro for everything. Normally, it is very cozy... And you leave when you feel like..not like the other one that you must have to leave after graduation.



So imagine paying 350-450 euro (like in my school) with the Studenten wg.....Or rather less ?
150 euro basic rent...if you economize heater and water, you pay less than 200 a month.
I know people paying 190 euro per month in a house better than most private homes.

I tried to search for SWG for north Rhein Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein. I couldn't find it.
