Mapoka: He has a point. Many of them drop out and refuse to return home. We are suffering from the sins of Nigerians who went there before us, they have spoilt everything like they always do with their stupidity which they usually foolishly think is wisdom. Too bad. Be careful the words you use. What sin are you actually talking about? How many times did you hear that a Nigerian student was caught wanting in germany?. Drop out - how is that possible? This issue is not only affecting Nigeria but other countries like India. The only thing is that no one is people ain't going back to their countries after their studies and I am sure that is your intention too. |

Goztino: Finally booked A. Category issues started with our set. I initially booked category B but because it was taking too long, I canceled it and booked category A and even clicked that I had scholarship while I didn't have. I was invited for interview within three days of booking category A and no issues at all. (I am not advising anyone to play such gamble because things are getting tougher now and you have a very high percentage of being kicked out if you try such now) Another guy in my group also canceled his own and booked under category A and he was bounced back for booking a wrong category. You have to know that this German Waka na by head. It's always advisable to book the right category to avoid being sent back home from the embassy I remember those days.....that time even 2.2 qualify for cat A... before embassy started kicking people in the junk |

dollypeeee: I want to use this medium to implore us to always do the right thing. We just don't know who might be watching. The Embassy as a diplomatic mission must surely have a plan they wish to accomplish with the CATEGORY booking and it is our responsibility as applicants to abide by it . As unfavorable as it may look for CAT B applicants, I want to believe that since they are not exclusively excluded from applying and the fact that the embassy even gave an opportunity to improve from the category through TESTAS shows their are not left out. Maybe there's a quota at play.
But growing up as a Nigerian sometimes makes us think we are being owed explanations to almost everything especially from bodies representing saner climes. Our government has not explained why we still can't have stable electricity in 2020 and no one has suggested nor implemented a plan to kukuma destroy all the generators or plants used in state houses, federal ministries etc to see if things will change. But instead we demonstrate an impeccable spirit of patience with the hope that e go better. In 2018, the American Embassy denied a scholarly friend who had secured a full scholarship from a renowned university in the US after scoring very high in GRE and IELTS and a host of other Skype interviews with his potential faculty. This denial was allegedly based on their usual pretext " no strong ties"... What other ties do you expect from a fresh 1st class graduate in his early 20s. According to him, he was not even asked to show his scholarship letter nor other important documents. Questions like are you married or do you have kids have become more important for someone who's going to study. The application for study visa for the US seem to even involve more money and time, you're compelled to write IELTS, GRE in most cases, pay for application fee, SEVIS fee, visa fee and just in a couple of minutes with the V/O, you're handed over rejection for no logical reason. Still the aggrieved didn't suggest spamming the US sites ( their site is too controlled to even entertain that). How many have written to the US embassy or the ambassador, has anything changed ?
Thank you and God bless Well spoken |

kolladey: Bro, that preferential treatment is much. Daad scholars don't pay visa fees, even they just go to the embassy for documentation, not really interview. Do you know what it means to clinch DAAD scholarships? DAAD scholars are people who mostly like genius, people who are academically inclined... Mostly first class holders, who have worked/working and have acquired professional experience in their field of study.... All they know is book book and research.... And this are the kind of people the German government is looking for because they are assets to them. The German embassy do not interview them because.... Passing daad-scholarship screening alone is enough. Germany don't play with DAAD scholars unlike most other applicants whose major aim is to japa and hustle through the students route. How can you graduate in 2010 with 2.2 and applying for another Bsc and expect the German embassy not to suspect you. |

GabeLegendary: I honestly don't blame them. We Nigerians are serial abusers. I bet 70 percent of us booked for appointments even before we submitted our applications/got admission letters. You can argue that it's safer to do so becos others will do so but everything Nigerian is a struggle and it is frustrating.. I strongly disagree with you. If the problem the German embassy has is the issue of booking without AL, they will have come up with a system of booking where you will need to show your AL while booking. So the problem is not about booking without AL brother. |

And if they should say they can't extend the course commencement date. Then, I will ask the school if they can change my pre study course from ( Beginners pre study) to (B1 pre study) since the B1 pre study will be commencing on the 1st of July. Tho, I will be needing german level A2 to be qualified for B1, so I will just write the A2 exam in Nigeria.

nuti: This is totally wrong I can see the reason the woman is losing her husband to someone else.
1.you can smell her dirtiness from here! She probably hadn’t taken her bath or even brushed her teeth in that buba she is wearing
2. You can tell she is troublesome and never keeps her cool, compare her with the other woman that keeps her cool and keeps her mouth shut in all that, hence the man is attracted to her.
3. Even when pacified by a passerby and asked to calm down, the tendency was to ignore all pleas, such a hothead.
I in NO means support the man’s behavior but I suspect that the listed above is part of the reason the man is cheating you are totally wrong to have made such a conclusion on a woman you have never met before. you dont know what married women pass through when their husbands are seeing another women. |

I was told I have to Deposit €300 for the pre study fee before Jan 15 (Next week) and the course will be commencing on the 17th February of this year. According to what I have read from the part 7 thread, I think Visa processing takes at least 3 months. So I'm confused. I need an advice pls !!! Is it possible to get a Visa before Feb 17th ?? obviously, given the situation of things with embasy, this is unrealistic for you... i wont advice you to pay that money unless you know the money is refundable and they can extend the enrollment deadline for you |

iPOD007: Thank you very much for your response.
With all due respect, I would like to state that your organization in Germany is NOT professional and NOT competent.
If I have any close person wanting to open a blocked account I will advise NOT to use Coracle.
I am still having a very bad experience using your company and its not changed since October. Please note, even if this is my own experience, many other people whom I have related with over here in Germany also have one issue or the other. Not to say that everyone using your company has issues, but many do and it all bores down to the fact that your company does not have organization not standard.
Once again, I will put this here so that anybody planning to open a blocked account can read what really is going on.
I arrived in October to Germany and informed Coracle i wanted to increase my blocked account to 10,236 since I came in with 8840. I returned the first payout they sent to me the same day and sent the balance to make it 10,236. A few days later, I got the confirmation mail of 10,236 on 4th November.
After series of back and forth mails, shouting and crying I got my first payout 20th November. I was lucky to have paid for my accommodation and insurance of October and November before I left Nigeria, if not, I would have been stranded and really frustrated. They kept lying that they had initiated the transfer and that they have issues with their bank. I could not buy winter jackets and shoes because I had no money. The pay out was NOT complete, they had only paid me 720 X 2 = 1440 instead of 853 X 2 = 1706. After series of mails, they said they would effect it during December payout.
Since they do not have a platform where you can check how much is remaining in your blocked account (Unlike other ones) I wrote to them to send me a statement of my account with them for me to be sure we are both on the same page, low and behold, they sent me a wrong value. I was shocked, but thankfully, I also have a local excel sheet where I keep all transactions. I made a screenshot of this and sent to them, then they argued again. I mailed them again, they checked and corrected the value. That was when it dawned on me that they are not organized.
A few days later, I got notification from my school that my stipend had been paid two weeks earlier into my blocked account mistakenly. I was shocked why Coracle did not inform me of any deposit since 2 weeks back. I mailed them and they confirmed they got the money. But, why did you not inform me? No reply. Ok, how do I get this money since it is not a blocked money? No reply. It took me another 2 weeks of mails and calls, before they agreed to send it. Since early December, up till this moment of typing this, I have not received the money. Once again, they said they initiated it and their bank has issues. My December and January payouts are still 720 and not the 853 which they said they would correct, it has still NOT been corrected.
The annoying thing is that, they hang up calls whenever you call them. You can send 20 mails before you get a response to 1. Their customer care is very wack and the whole organization is nothing to behold.
I am still on this case and trying to get my money, so if you read this story, please, take time to think before you decide which way to go. Some of my classmates are using them without any hassles, while some are also having issues. There are no organizations without issues, but are they ready to solve the issue? With Coracle, its hard.
Sometimes, I have to beg my classmate who is a German to speak with them maybe they would respect a local citizen.
So, here is my story and I hope you it ends well. But, I would not want anyone to also go through what I have gone through.
@CoracleNG, you can ask "Jules" in your German office since he is the only person that sometimes picks my calls or replies my mails.
Tell your organization to fix up because your name is not being sung well.
Cheers! wow what an experience. . .once you get unlucky with coracle they will frustrate you to the point you will feel like committing suicide. i can not ever forget my experience with them confirming my payment..... if not for God this people would have ruined my plans. |

lexdino: Not a fair comparison.
Coracle is a business/financial body whose business affects Nigerians directly or indirectly. Therefore, It makes some sense for them to have a representative assigned to their Nigerian affairs, and this German student thread on nairaland is possibly one of the biggest online presence of their target audience in Nigeria.
I stand to be corrected though. I and my other fellow coracle users have not been notified by Coracle of any representative on nairaland so far. i am not saying this account is Fraud but my advice to any is to deal with coracle officials direct....why would you even need to contact any so-coracle agent on nairaland when when coracle responds to querries very quickly. send them a mail now...in the next 30 minutes you get a response. send them a mail 30 times, they will respond to you 30 times.......their processes of BA confirmation and pay out could be very annoying and slow but believe me their customer service very wonderful...so there is no need for any agent on nairaland |

I wouldn't like to go there pay flight, rent a hotel room then at the end after paying the visa fee I get turned back......
Should I honour the invitation or I should join the waiting crew.
I also intend to go there with request to withdraw my BA money.
I want to close the account If you know you won't attend the interview, please cancel now so someone else can get the slot. If you cancel late, you will just waste a precious slot and even God will be angry with you. |

Please stop deceiving yourself and hand over the matter to God.
