Agriculture / Re: FG Engages 17,000 Youths In Rabbit Farming by hinere(m): 10:14pm On Dec 02, 2020
Which one is rabbit farming now?
Do people eat rabbit? Or will their skin be used to make bags and shoes now?
FG if you want to engage youths, think of something more profitable.
If it's so profitable, why are your children not practising Rabbit Farming.

NYSC / Re: My Sister Posted To Adamawa State. What Do I Do? Can I Defer It? by hinere(m): 12:18pm On Dec 02, 2020
I had such fear too when I was posted to Kebbi State years back.
Immediately i saw my callup letter, my heart sank and i had only 2 days to prepare.
The next morning, I ran to Unilag to quickly get my results and letters. As I was coming back, I entered the park at Agege because that's where I was told I would see buses to the NORTH.

I got there at 8pm and meet the Hausa drivers. I told them I came to make Enquires to go to KEBBI. All of them started shouting.
"Why you dey go Kebbi?"
"Wetin you won go do for there?"
"Why NYSC go carry go there?"
"Kebbi FAR OOO....Infact E 2 FAR?"
"Na three days journey o?"
"Right now sef...Na Night we dey go there?"
"Plenty Armed Robbers dey for road?"
"Before we dey pass Niger Bridge but E don spoil so we go enter another state. Stop for there then continue another longer journey becos we follow round?"
"Na only you dey go....Eyaaahhh?"
"The Armed robbers for road ehn....plenty?"
"Even we drivers, we no like to dey go that side atall?"
The ended the marathon question session by now saying...
"But if you want go...PAY MONEY?"

At that moment, I didnt't know what else to do. I became terrified. I left there and told God am not going for NYSC.
I then prayed on the way home that he should still make a way for me to still serve that year and this time I want Lagos or Ogun State.

I went home. People kept asking me am I not going for service. Didn't know what to say.
That period was torture for me. Some were like couldn't I have used flight. Like to say if I had the money for flight, I wouldnt have gone...humanbeings sef angry

Most of my friends who were posted to the North just called their parents to send them money to make arrangements for flight.

I started wishing my Dad had not died when I was 13 cry

So I forget about it all and moved on with my life.

After 3 months, I heard the new batch were checking their portal for their callup letter. I checked mine as well. People of God, I was posted to OGUN STATE.

How come?

My joys knew no bound. It was like a dream. I couldn't believe it.
That's was how I left Lagos to Ogun State for my service and it was one of the best experiences of my life till date. I still give glory to God whenever I remember it.

It shows that God heard that little prayer I made to him that evening when I was coming home from the park that night after meeting the Hausa drivers. He sees our heart and he knows.

He just wants us to pray and trust him.

God hears and answers our little prayers even the ones we think he doesn't hear.

Just have faith and trust him. It may not be the time you want him to come but He will surely come on time.

I hope my story has inspired someone today.

All these Retired Footballers. They have all made money. This shows in life, nothing lasts forever. The life of every footballer should open everyones eyes to know that NOTHING LASTS FOREVER.

There was a time these boys reigned on earth, they made money but I'm so glad that they had the wisdom to put the money they made into good use while they were still in active service in the sport industry.

What do I mean by that? I mean they were wise enough to INVEST all the money they were making knowing fully well that oneday, they would retire and be back to square one.
People need to have such mindset in life.

YOU DON'T INVEST FOR THE NOW BUT FOR YOUR FUTURE.

Right now, they are living off their years of Investments.
I tell people to think about investment becos that the way forward.
Nigerians need to wake up to Investments.

Saving your money in the Bank will NEVER and I repeat NEVER make you rich instead the Banks will keep taking your money in form of Charges.

Invest in Real Estate or Agriculture.

When I say Real Estate or Agriculture, I don't mean buying land, buying block and cement to build house or carrying cutlass and hoe to enter Farm....NO.
INVEST in already thriving Agricultural and Real Estate Ventures.

When you invest in Agriculture, you earn 55% ROI (Profit) in months
When you invest in Real Estate, you earn 45% ROI (Profit) in months.
And they come with Legal Documents and Insurance coverage.
Your investment is Secured.
And the minimum amount you can invest is N100K and above

Why are my not surprised. Somebody that said he will pay is it 3 or 30 Billion Naira as bribe just to be Re-elected...I can't even remember sef. This country is messed up. A Country where bribery is the order of the day.
Nigerians need to have money because no matter what, money makes you rule. Think of ways you get can money. Money opens all doors.
These Politicians especially these Northern Politicians you see make money through Investments...becos seriously, what is their work
They invest their money into Agriculture. They discourage you not to venture into Agriculture yet they secretly venture into it. Even Dangote invests in Agriculture.
When I say Agriculture, I don't mean carrying cutlass and hoe to enter farm. These Politicians don't know where farm is.
Invest in already thriving Agricultural Ventures by Companies.

Celebrities / Re: Davido Has Not Stopped Smiling After Whitening His Teeth (Video) by hinere(m): 12:32pm On Dec 01, 2020
When I was selling Teeth Whitener to Smokers here on NL...one person with the moniker "Slawormir" immediately bad shamed my business and people started abusing me and calling me scam.

But as God will have it, people were still calling me to order for the product despite the chaos that day on Nairaland.

As if that was not enough, God raised one guy to fight for me that day. The guy attacked all my accusers. I was just watching at how God was fighting my battles.

Infact, God bless him wherever he is today.
The way he rose up for me, God will arise for him.

Becos of that incident, I dislike hearing the words "Teeth Whitener".

Coming on Nairaland to see this thread brings back lots of ugly memories long forgotten.

Moral Lesson
