Pls house, I got ITA sometimes in March and need to respond by first week in May. All documents are ready except for Hubby's international passport which we have applied for renewal since February at Ikoyi and yet to get a new one. Also, the old one is expiring by July.

Looks like the safe thing to do. Use the old one and add the new later. It’s not like it’s expired already.

I’m only just finding out that my application fee keeps getting debited and reversed. I’ve received AOR though but I hope this will not delay processing. What can I do?

@sashafiercediva I’m at post AOR:The bank I work just merged with another bank. And the name chosen for the new merged entity is that of the other bank, while they adopted a part of my bank’s logo. We have also been given new employment letters. Do I need to inform CIC about this development ?

Hmm. Does that mean CIC must be notified if one moves to another organization? Will there be need for a new reference letter?

Fellow housemates (hahhahaha), I'm kinda ready to submit the application and my heart is doing 'gbish gbish'. The only explanation I have is my POF and that was just to help the processing officer do the maths.

I uploaded the same ref letter in the placeholder for all the job titles (5 different JDs) cos it's from the same employer and I got only one letter. Is this okay?

My optional document folder is empty as I no get anything to explain.

Perhaps I should go to bed.

My post ITA, pre AOR self is already thinking of life in Canada with young children. How do we help our children deal with racism? I feel the best way is to talk bout it with your kids in a positive manner.

If the money is for POF, please leave it in your account and get a gift deed. 2m is a huge sum.

In my case I had like 20something siblings but i put way less than that. My criteria was excluding the ones who were citizens of other countries apart from Nigeria and also those who were being shady and didnt give me their data page.
My reason then was that I was in a crunch for time. But know that whomever you don't claim now, you cant claim them later.

Thanks for your response. The only one I want to include is the one who is a full Naija citizen like me, the rest will be fine.

You can include their middle names. Personally, I did surname . first name . middle name (i.e. as shown on their int'l passports).

Hi Tops, I sent you a PM cos I have some of questions but I think I should just put it here so others may benefit.

1. Regarding my half siblings, I have to input their birthdays. Trust me when I say my darling papa won't remember. I can not reach out to them cos I'm keeping this application private and most of them are abroad anyways.

2. I have only worked in 1 company and my job description has changed over time. I used one of the job roles where I served for more than 3 yrs as my primary NOC but it's not my current role. However, I'm been asked to upload docs for all the different roles that I've taken up but I have only one reference letter from my employer. The ref. letter states all the different job roles. Can I upload same doc for all? It's a bit confusing.

So the anti climax of this long almost two years ordeal is ending with a refusal due to incorrect NOC code. I applied with NOC code 0213 - Computer and Information System Manager.

This is what I should have done two years back, but I honestly thought I was on the right course. I am sharing so that it serves as a lesson to others getting into the process. Seek all the advice and counsel you can especially wherever you have doubts, even if it make you look or sound like a slowpoke.

God bless you my sister/brother. I’ve been doing bumper to bumper follow up and was told the same thing. I hope to get the good news tomorrow. At first the struggle was getting my spouse to agree, then pof, now na ordinary passport! God forbid bad thing.

I’m post ITA, my children’s passport still isn’t ready. I’ve got just a few days to submit all my documents. I haven’t even been able to proceed to the document upload section as I don’t have any passport number for my kids.
