To do that you have to be very vigilant as to notice when your chicken is Brody/starts to lay eggs...Once you deserve a Brody hen all you have to do is replace the hen's egg with that of the ducks and this must be done before the hen starts to incubate the eggs so as to achieve 100% accuracy...After doing all these if the eggs are fertile then the hen will definitely hatch them after 28 days

About that it depends on how you raise them if you raised them in a coop / barn they won't really be interested in hatching their eyes but if you free range them and infant even rear them together with the locks on free range its possible they hatch their eggs on their own but since I keep them mostly in the coop (they only take a stroll out in the morning and then afternoon) I prefer to let my chickens do the hatching for them
