They sing beautiful hymns at the beginning and end of their meetings. They don't turn church to where you catch fun or have wild parties like it's happening in some churches today.
They focus their meetings on the studying Bible.
Their prayer is said by one person and it's short and precise. The person saying the prayers ends it with "amen" and the rest of the church respond with "amen".
Their meetings are always interactive.
They don't have pastors. They are all brothers. Anyone could lead any part of the meeting.
They don't collect offerings and lots more.

Anyways, lets analyze the question, 'Is truth relative'?

Firstly, what is relativism? It is simply the basic idea that there are no universal truths about the world, but rather, there are just different ways of interpreting it. In other words, the relativist asserts that, 'What you believe is true (for you); what I believe is true (for me)'.

To be a relativist means that a belief (Atheists believe assert they don't have beliefs ), idea, proposition, claim, etc. is never true or false, good or bad, or right or wrong, absolutely.

According to the relativist, there is no absolute or objective truth; truth is relative and subjective. For example, a relativist can’t consistently claim that 2 + 2 = 4 because the answer 4 is neither right nor wrong. It just depends. Your math teacher likes 4, but you like 6; so for you, the answer is 6. Hilarious, right?

To debunk this, I would say that relativism is logically incoherent. Consider the statement: all truth is relative. If this statement is objectively true, then relativism is false because then there is at least one objective truth—namely, the truth that[b] truth is relative[/b]. So. someone that says all truth is relative is in essence saying that the only truth that is not relative objective is that truth is relative and that contradicts the idea that truth is relative. Because if you are saying that truth is relative you have in essence said that it is true that truth is relative, thereby establishing relativity as an objective fact. Capisce?

But if the statement is only subjectively true, then, as we have already seen, this just means that you believe in relativism (and this provides a problem for Atheists, because they claim to have no beliefs, because they believe assert that belief isn't based on proof).

So, in summary, The claim that all truth is relative is either incoherent or trivial. Moreover, relativism is neither supported by our inability to know what’s true, nor by the fervency of our belief in relativism.

But does this mean that nothing is relative? No. The answers to all the following questions are relative. Is Buhari a good president? Does chocolate taste better than vanilla? Who’s the world’s greatest athlete? Am I a great philosopher?

It’s not the claim that some things are relative that has been positively refuted; rather, it is the claim that all things are relative that is incoherent or illogical. And if all things aren’t relative and subjective, then some things must be absolute and objective.

I'd like to start from the creation of Adam again.
First I want you to carefully study and compare the verses I provided above at John and Corinthians. You should see that the life we got from Adam is clearly different from the one Jesus brought through the holy spirit.

God made Adam from dust and was given life. He was not a spirit or preexisted as a spirit.
When he stopped breathing, his life ended just as God cursed him and he returned to dust.
Did he have any independent spirit inside him? No!

You mentioned something about the spirit of Adam dying the day he ate the fruit. Is that idea coherent? No!
If his spirit was him, there's no way he could continue to live when his spirit had died.
The reality is, God breath/spirit gave Adam life.

So the life everyone that lived after Adam had is the same as Adam's. They lived, grew old, died and returned to dust.

Every one of us got that same life from Adam, but it was different for Jesus cos he was from heaven directly and for born agains, i.e those that were/are baptized by the holy spirit.
Note from John 3:6 that only those that are baptized by the holy spirit would be born into the spiritual life.


You should see that those that had died before Jesus (Moses, Samuel, David etc..) are actually in no other place than the grave. That's why Jesus said in John 5:28&29 that they will rise up to experience eternal life.

1 Corinthians 15:48-51
[48]Earthly people are like the earthly man (Adam), and heavenly people are like the heavenly man (Jesus).
[49]Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.
[50]What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

1 Corinthians 15:42

There are actually two type of Resurrection.
Some (people like Paul, the Apostles, born agains generally) will be resurrected to heaven after death. They are the first fruits and will be made king and priests in God's Kingdom.

The rest of us will be resurrected in the future when Jesus comes back.

Read through 1 Corinthians 15:35-50.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 refers to those that will be resurrected to heaven. These people are born into spiritual life through the holy spirit. The born-agains!
