THERE ARE TWO GREEK TERMS THAT ARE FRAUDULENTLY TRANSLATED "WORD" IN THE ENGLISH BIBLE.
(1) LOGOS: The Recorded Word (3056). Reasoning, Motive, Computation.
(2) RHEMA: The Spoken Word (4487). Utterance, Matter, Topic.
The FACSIMILE is consistent with the New Testament term "LOGOS." In SCIENTOLOGY it means SPIRITUAL ENERGY IMAGE.
Facsimiles are the root Source of everything that Exists, and since the term "LOGOS" is the term used in JOHN 1:1-14, God is a LOGOS.
He created Heaven and Earth by duplicating Himself, and this duplicate created all other things and beings by creating modified duplicates of Himself.
Everything that Exists used to be THE LOGOS. Not just Lord Yeshua. Disciple YOCHANNAN was deliberately trying to mislead us, in telling us that Lord Yeshua was THE LOGOS.

Simple Similarities and Differences between Jehovah's Witnesses and Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Days Saints Church (LDS) in Nigeria
Informations obtained from their own website and literatures respectively ( no negative intention)
1. Both claim to be Christians but all mainstream christendom disagrees
2. Both are founded in USA and by Americans. Joseph Smith founded LDS in 1820, missionary to Nigeria started in late 1970's while Charles Russell started jW foundation in 1870, missionary to Nigeria started in early 1900s having the highest population in South south Nigeria (precisely Akwaibom and Rivers state)
3. Both religions are rumored to be very wealthy meanwhile LDS is the richest church in the whole world according to forbes ( LDS has one of the most transparent financial system open to the government authorities)
4. Both are non trinatarian. (They don't accept the Trinity doctrine)
5. Both believe other mainstream Christian dominations are wrong including themselves and condemned to God's wrath.
6.Both consider evangelism and missionary work essential to their belief. In LDS your missionary is sponsored by the church, you may be sent to a different country to serve at the expense of the church.
6. LDS encourages higher education and even owns universities (one of them is the best in the world) Brigham Young University in Utah( almost free) and many Nigerians has benefited from it on scholarship . JW believes the end of world is near since 1914, so why go to university and get corrupted? therefore higher learning is prohibited ( many members ignore this admonition anyway)
7. While Jehovah's witnesses build kingdom Halls ( a simple and not so furnished chapels) for there congregations, LDS builds international standard chapels for local congregations, most has a basket ball court.
8. Both faiths are sponsored by its members wilful monetary contributions and pledges.
9. Both frown at Ex or former members. Jehovah's Witnesses go the extra mile to shun/demonize them and cut ties with their family (quoting 2 corinthians)
10. Jehovah's witnesses are instructed not to participate in politics and milltary quoting "not part of the world" meanwhile LDS participate fully in politics and milltary.
11. Both believes no other denomination will accend heaven except their's. While Jehovah's witnesses believes only 144,000 will go to heaven, LDS believes all good people will go to heaven but only the saints (LDS members) will be in the CELESTIAL HEAVEN with Jehovah and non saints will be in the TERRESTRIAL HEAVEN (like a Catholic purgatory) waiting to be baptised in an LDS temple to join the saints in the celestial... They all have Bible passages to support these ideas.
12. Both believes the Bible to be authority but interpretation of their prophets / governing body is more authority.
13. Population of Nigerians that are witnesses are upto 600,000 and LDS is less than 150,000. Dominated by Southerners especially south south Nigeria ( Akwa ibom and rivers states )
14. Headquarters facility for witnesses is situated in Benin City, Edo State while for LDS is in Aba, Abia state.
15. Witnesses are discouraged to marry non witnesses (disobedience to this rule implies that your parents, relatives and friends who are witnesses won't attend any of your marriage rites, including registry). LDS are encouraged to marry themselves but there's no outlaw or punishment if you marry outside.
16. Both LDS and witnesses has their own Hymns . Many of these Hymns are masterpieces and beautiful like "give me courage" from jw, "a child's prayer" and "do you think to pray" from LDS songbook.

LDS believe you rejoin God and the saints at death in the "celestial heavens". So everyone lives a good moral life pending his own end at death.
21. Both don't encourage LGBT. In JW they see it as a sin against God, catching you in the act will lead you to be "disfellowshipped" or getting shunned. In LDS you can identify as LGBT but there are stereotypes, you're seen as a sick person(natural impairment) who will have to kill own feelings towards same sex.
22. In both organisations women are not allowed to be elders, bishops or overseers. In jws women can mount the pulpit or pray over only when there's no single qualified man. In LDS women can give testimonies, talks, sermons conduct bible study rooms and other privileges but are not made elders.
23. Both allow men and women to be missionaries.

He prayed to God before performing any miracles. He told the thief he'd be with him in his father's house. He never ever said he was God, please stop crucifying his legacy.
Jehovahs-witnesses are labeled all sorts but at least the practice only what the Bible teaches, although they tend to go overboard. Their offense is not as grievous as other Christians who mutilate the legacy of Jesus by equating him to God. It's just ludicrous.

It's normal.
When you've been fed for years with lies (which you believe to be the truth) and someone just came and tell you something entirely different, which is actually the truth, you would definitely think the person bringing another doctrine is a liar.
Though I was born believing in hell, Trinity, immortal soul, and other unscriptural teachings, I could see the pure TRUTH from the Bible via the help of the JWs.
So it's about what the Bible really say, not what you've been fed with since childhood.
Jesus, the apostles and the early churches weren't hated cos they were bad but cos they had the TRUTH.
Pls stop spreading lies about the JWs.
We believe heaven is real. But you don't believe ALL Christians go there when they die except the 144000 talked about in the book of revelation Sha remember that those who want to be teachers will face a stricter judgement than the average believer.. I'm just saying.. |
