porka: This is misplaced optimism.
Buhari won the "core north" NE and NW in 2011.
2015 was when the main theme was grand conspiracy from rabid hatred for a minority candidate.
As you can see, the whole of Southern Kaduna is under the threat of mass killing.
NC and SW are licking their wounds now.
The massacre in Benue and Plateau is not abating.
Within 2 years of Buhari's governance, Nigeria has been returned to the SLAVE TRADE ERA.
SW's mercantile vocation has been grounded with the Customs seizures and destruction of their wares.
SW's civil servants have since set up Economically Displaced Persons' Camps while suicide rate is increasing at a geometric proportion.
In 2019, the candidate of the opposition would not be a minority.
Time will tell. atiku is not a minority but not loved by his people. Here in north, it is Buhari till 2023 |

I can only see frustrated IPOB yooth. Here in the north where we have over 15 million votes, it is either PMB or GMB.... The entire SE and SS votes is nowhere closer to NW votes.
Landslide for Buhari |

Bede2u: but let me ask u; is nigeria better under buhari? Check the pics below. Nigeria's economy was growing steadily from 1999 until 2015 when it started declining steadily. Do u think buhari has been good? up north, buharism is a way of life.... they so much believe in him that millions of Atiku can never match his popularity. I only pity Atiku because the beating he will receive will never have cure. The northerners worship him |

PHILipu1: I am a southerner but i have spend more than 15 years in the north and i do laugh when my southern brothers mostly south-east people talk about Buhari.
They don't just know that Buharism is a way of life up here in the north and that one thousand Yaraduas or Atikus can not defeat Buhari in a free and fair election here in the north.
Let's forget the passed elections that he lost because we all know that he was rigged out mostly from southern votes.
Buhari is the president now and i don't think anybody can rig him out. thank you. They will never understand |

Bede2u: i joined nairaland in 2009. Check my posts from 2014 to 2015 to know if i voted buhari. If 2019 would be a landslide for buhari without rigging, then congrats in advance to him. If the landslide would be from rigging then he goes down in history of nigeria as the worst thing since civil war. What a way for the great buhari to be remembered we shall see. I don't vote, but from information gathered, Atiku can never match Buhari's popularity. PDP should get a more popular candidate from north Allah |

Even Adamawa people will never vote for atiku |

Bede2u: Ya if a younger candidate can get the ticket of a major party (PDP or APC) I'd be glad to vote for him.
However I think Nigerians mistake youth for competence. Orji uzor kalu and chimaroke nnamani were 38 years old when they became governors. Their perfomance turned out below average. Yahaya Bello of Kogi was just 40 yrs in 2015, we know he stands among the worst today. Most of Nigeria's millitary dictators were youths (Gowon, Ibb, buhari, murtala,) how come Nigeria didnt move forward under them? OBJ and Yar'adua are so far Nigeria's best presidents. They brought development and unity into Nigeria. Both were above 50 years when they became president. Youth means nothing. What matters is what a president achieves. Not what he promised; not how he looks in pictures; not propaganda. Simply what he achieves in office!! Since we can never tell who would achieve a lot, i say we gv everybody both old and young a chance (until they fvck up)
I will Atikulate in 2019 Just as I Fe'buhari in 2015 Just as I might Ambode or Obiano in 2023 oga!!! Stop lying, you never voted for Buhari. You supported GEJ Mark my statement, " 2019 election will be the most one sided election" in the history of Nigeria with Buhari winning with landslide |

Politics › BREAKING: Appeal Court Sentences Accountant General To 70yrs Imprisonment by hmuhammad(op): 7:41pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
The Kebbi State Accountant General, Mr. Mohammed Dakingari has been sentenced to 70 years imprisonment over N1.6 billion fraud by the Appeal Court in the state. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, the EFCC had appealed a ruling by a Kebbi State High Court The lower court in Kebbi had earlier discharged and acquitted Dakingari, but Court of Appeal today overruled it and upheld the appeal of the EFCC The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, the EFCC made the disclosure via the social media, the twitter. The anti-graft agency tweeted: Mr. Dakingari, was charged by the EFCC over allegedly used of a company that is wholly owned by him, Beal Construction Nigeria Limited, to award various contracts to himself. Mr. Dakingari’s stake in Beal Construction is contrary to civil service regulation which forbids serving officers from owning businesses. But investigators from the anti-graft agency stumbled on evidence that showed Mr. Dakingari owns Beal Construction, which he runs with his sons and brothers as co- directors. Findings at the Corporate Affairs Commission show that Mohammed Bashir Mohammed, Anwal Sadat, and Nasir Mohammed, all sons of the Accountant General, are directors of the company while two of his brothers, Abduallahi Mohammed and Habibu Mohammed, are the other two directors. The construction company operates two accounts at EcoBank and Unity Bank with Mr. Dakingari and Yusuf Musa, managing director of the construction company, as signatories to the accounts. However, Mr. Dakingari was discovered to operate with two signatures, one in his official capacity as accountant general of the state and the other as owner of Beal Construction Company Limited. Analysis of the accounts revealed a total credit of N1.3 billion between May 2012 and September 2013, with most of the receipts coming from the office of the Accountant General and the Kebbi State Ministry of Finance. Some of the contract executed for the state for which Beal Construction Company received huge payments include the supply of furniture to 66 secondary schools in Kebbi State valued at N987, 000 million; the connection of water and drainage system at Kebbi Central Mosque valued at N110 million and the building and partitioning of Mohammed Maira Secondary School valued at N247 million. Sources close to the investigations reveal that Mr. Dakingari and his accomplices would be arraigned in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
