@HND HOLDER

A persons death acquits him of his sins.
Yes if killed, the killer pick up the total sin in addition to his own. Thou shall not kill
If it is a natural death then what ever you so you will reap.

Layi
Problems with Heaven Michael Martin wrote in 1997 that

"Belief in Heaven is an essential part of the great monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Famous theologians have written about it and ordinary theists hope to go there after death . . . However, the concept of Heaven is neither clear nor unproblematic. there are three serious problems with the notion of Heaven. First, the concept of Heaven lacks coherence. Second, it is doubtful that theists can reconcile the heavenly character of Heaven with standard defenses against the Argument from Evil such as the Free Will Defense. Third, Heaven is unfair and, thus, it is in conflict with the goodness of God."

Who is GOD  and who is Allah then?

(God the father, Godthe son and God the Holy Spirit) 3 in one. Can we then say God the Father is Allah?
But
Allah is only one God says Holy Quran. I need more explanations Please base on your post
Saying God and Allah are the same is as good as saying Christianity and Islam is the same. I do not think they are the same.

There is nothing like LOve in marriage or blind love. We all love for that which complement  us.

Love =[ beauty+ renounciation +wealth +fame +strenght+knowledge+x] It is some of these qualities we saw that bring the attraction which we call LOVE
Renounciation come in as Tribal Or Religion
and it it the last that sustain any marriage.
Elders know  that after marriage if money or beauty or any one of the above is missing then problem starts, then you go to see your papa and mama or your pastor.

Koran and Bible says...

SURA 2 VS221] And do not marry the idolatresses until they believe, and certainly a believing maid is better than an idolatress woman, even though she should please you; and do not give (believing women) in marriage to idolaters until they believe, and certainly a believing servant is better than an idolater, even though he should please you; these invite to the fire, and Allah invites to the garden and to forgiveness by His will, and makes clear His communications to men, that they may be mindful.

Christian would say do not UNEQUAL YOKE GENESIS 28 VS 1Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

Weymola:
I think we need to define this thing called love, what will or can you do for love

I'm a married man with 2 kids, I notice however that the love I have for my wife seems different to love I had for her while we were dating. It seems I have become complacent or the love has change, because when we were dating it seemed like I could do just about anything for her.

I have changed over the years - I seem to be bit more like my Dad with each passing year, my wife’s the same too she seems to be more like her mum. What I can tell from my experiences is that life is not static and we change as individuals, our beliefs and attitudes as well.

Marrying someone from a different religious background is very dangerous if done because of love, as love can and probably will fade. Religion if practised requires commitment and seeks to build a person spiritually. So a marriage with 2 different religions is a marriage going in two different directions - ultimately you will grow apart.

But hey same religion marriages break down and grow apart every so often so what else is new.

You will agree with me that one can protest by looking for faults of others, that brought the question that One God has son and
500 years later
[4.170] O people! surely the Apostle has come to you with the truth from your Lord, therefore believe, (it shall be) good for you and If you disbelieve, then surely whatever is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
[4.171] O followers of the Book!(BIBLE) do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa (JESUS CHRIST)son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
The title "the Son of God" is frequently applied to Jesus Christ in the Gospels and Epistles. In the latter it is everywhere employed as a short formula for expressing His Divinity (Sanday); and this usage throws light on the meaning to be attached to it in many passages of the Gospels. The angel announced: "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the most High... the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God" (Luke, i, 32, 35). Nathaniel, at his first meeting, called Him the Son of God (John, i, 49). The devils called Him by the same name, the Jews ironically, and the Apostles after He quelled the storm. In all these cases its meaning was equivalent to the Messias, at least. But much more is implied in the confession of St. Peter, the testimony of the Father, and the words of Jesus Christ.
IslamRe: God and Allah: Are they the same? by Hndholder(m): 8:13am On Aug 09, 2005
IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
The title "son of God" is frequent in the Old Testament. The word "son" was employed among the Semites to signify not only filiation, but other close connexion or intimate relationship. Thus, "a son of strength" was a hero , a warrior, "son of wickedness" a wicked man, "sons of pride" wild beasts, "son of possession" a possessor, "son of pledging" a hostage, "son of lightning" a swift bird, "son of death" one doomed to death, "son of a bow" an arrow, "son of Belial" a wicked man, "sons of prophets" disciples of prophets etc. The title "son of God" was applied in the Old Testament to persons having any special relationship with God. Angels, just and pious men, the descendants of Seth, were called "sons of God" (Job, i, 6; ii, 1; Ps. lxxxviii, 7; Wisd., ii, 13; etc.). In a similar manner it was given to Israelites (Deut., xiv, l); and of Israel, as a nation, we read: "And thou shalt say to him: Thus saith the Lord: Israel is my son, my firstborn. I have said to thee: Let my son go, that he may serve me" (Ex., iv, 22 sq.).

Don hinges better economy on technical education
From Iyabo Sotunde, Ibadan
A UNIVERSITY don, Prof. Rafiu Salawu argued that the nation's economy can only be developed through the creation of entrepreneurs through the evolution of a sound technical education policy.

Salawu, a professor of electrical-electronics at the University of Lagos, also canvassed the elimination of all known social stigmas that have been making the choice of careers in technical education unattractive to Nigerian youths.

The university don, who spoke at the 16th Annual Conference of the Nigerian Association of Teachers of Technology (NATT) held in the Oyo State College of Education campus, Oyo town, maintained that technical education remains the only panacea to the resuscitation of the nation's ailing economy.

Besides, he called on the Federal Government to step up measures at reviewing the tertiary educational system to correct the imbalance between graduates of polytechnics and universities.

As a way of encouraging youths who are artisans in the informal sector, Salawu suggested an intervention process to provide a form of skills' improvement strategy and retraining for them.

He also highlighted some factors capable of promoting technical studies in the country. These include government undertaking a total review of the tertiary educational system to correct the imbalance in production and expenditure between middle-level technical manpower and university professional graduates.

The salaries of polytechnics and universities should be harmonised so that there will be movement from one to the other. The move, he argued, will make it easy for polytechnics to attract good quality workers.

Annual competition on innovation and inventions leading to awards for inventions.

A policy to take care of the informal sector such that artisans are periodically retrained to continually improve their skills, and

Additional allowance for technical subject teachers in secondary schools to attract more qualified teachers into the field.
He posited that if all these are done, entrepreneurs would not only be created, unemployment would also be greatly reduced.

In his address on the occasion, Provost of the College of Education, Dr Adekunle Ogunmola admonished Nigerians, particularly stakeholders in the sector to accord technological education the priority it deserves.

Only accredited Diploma known as National Diploma ND, the rest ordinary Diploma OD
go for what will make u happy in life.

Are u are double face man? OBJ and IBB My brother tell your friend not to go near HND in Nigeria for it is a stressful qualification.
EducationRe: ND Holder: HND or 100 Level at University? by Hndholder(m): 11:08am On Jul 25, 2005
Why rolling your eyes.  Polytechnic is a senior practical technical school that awards NATIONAL DIPLOMA
for the middle levels

That was the reason that all university were stopped from Awarding Diploma.

Higher Diploma HD, Advance Diploma and Final Diplomas, as well as HTD  are just fill in the gaps NEVER for promotions.
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA(HND) This is optional (a) If you do not want to go to university
(b) If your organisation want you at the practical level useful to their product after some years with ND
(c) If that is what your capacity can take.etc.
HND is not ment to be a straight course that is why you have to obtain a new form to come for HND. But today OND graduates made themselves so cheap that they call it one year IT. Nothing like one year IT. They rush back for HND without enough practicals. When they get out of polytechnic they can not perform as HND HOLDER  and they are not equiped for the paperwork like the Bsc holders.
Let everybody know this implications before rushing to Polytechnic. It is very stressfull No respect for HND HOLDER only your money that can bring friends to you.

HND is the only one approved by NBTE. This should come at least after a year or more when the ND graduate is sound in practical. Because there is no job everybody now want HND. ND is not the same as HSC. Let all that cares know tha t HND is for people who do not wish to go to university for any reason. How can HND be equal to Bsc then? Never they are not the same.
EducationRe: ND Holder: HND or 100 Level at University? by Hndholder(m): 5:09pm On Jul 21, 2005
Do not compare university with polytechnic, they are not the same, only equivalency.

eg. Poly offers Accountancy
university offers Accounting

So if with ND accountancy you want Bsc Accounting you must start from 100 level
is like a decree holder wanting to be a driver, he must obtain all the paper as required by law.
In faculty of law today we have graduates of university starting afresh with B.sc or BA. at 100 level in faculty of law. How about registered nurse, to obtain Bsc in Nursing you must be a NR/Sr nurse and again start afresh.
What is the big thing there for even HND holder wanting an accademic degree starting from 100level, they are two parallel lines that can never meet.
EducationRe: ND Holder: HND or 100 Level at University? by Hndholder(m): 5:19pm On Jul 20, 2005
You still mix things together here,
If you love academics you need to go to university for degree not Diploma as some courses in the university leads only to certificate. But professional courses in the polytechnic may not be available in the university. e.g. Secretarial studies
Engineering Technology(Engineering in University)
Accountancy(accounting in University) etc
Thats is why NBTE Made ND now (from next year) 3 years so that you will have a choice of having 2or3 years B.tech. and HND will be optional.
