I'm sure he saw the shocking news first on FBK, ![]() |
Going by prophecies of this nature in recent times,we must not relent in prayers for this country. This roof must not come down else, in fact God forbid |
Nsiman: 2good:thats ridiculous, you'll have to ask God yourself. Mind you, he's not my primate. All I'm saying is never underestimate the power of God to change such things when we pray; dont start saying all manner of terrible things because Ayodele said, , And if Ayodele's claims are attention-seeking in the name of God, let him and God sort things out. |
Batubo:and when everywhere in Nigeria is bombed, Jonathan would go succeed Gbagbo in C'dvoire while you become his special adviser on women affairs |
if demons are responsible, we have too many pastors who cast out demons in an instant in Nigeria. Call for national prayer, abi? I'm getting impatient with the many unfruitful promisory notes. If investigation is the way out, make it speedy; if its casting out devils, who cares? RESULTS we want!!!! |
I love men with real balls. The strenght of a real leader is tested by turbulent times. Can we truly articulate GEJ's achievement so far? He's so preoccupied with his ambition that vices that threaten national security are thriving right under his nose. This is not a matter of whether PTB will vote for Goodluck or not. The fact is GEJ is not demonstrating enough to convince us about a better Nigeria should he get the people's mandate. Nigeria more than ever need a bold, courageous and result-oriented leader. The truth must be said no matter how bitter. |
macjive01:^^^please those words are too harsh. I feel your pain but it'll be wrong to vent your feelings that way. He's still the Nigerian President |
Mbeki:Honestly I'm shocked at the President's statement. "We will get to the root of ", "confession", WHEN Is this some kind of a joke?Kidnapping is the consequence of unchecked vices like militancy. If kidnapping flourishes then dont be surprised when bomb blasts follow. When bomb blasting is not checkmated at the most early stage, more interest groups would start taking advantage of the situation to make statements. I dont wish to point fingers but really, this government must act quickly before its too late. GEJ is taking this matter too lightly in order to sustain his presidential ambition, forgetting the dangers of this loose end when he eventually gets the mandate. Placards, peaceful demostrations and warning strikes may soon give way for bomb blasting for those who need to get government's attention. |
olabukola:Hmmmn, discovery!!. So some tribes have genetic traits that are Jihad-resistant ![]() Military Governor For Jos Today! ![]() |
OAM4J:yes its a new year. thou shall not stray away from the discussion topic. thou shall wish everyone a happy new year jare whether or not they ![]() |
@ Pornodude. Thank you. End of discussion! This issue has been discussed many times on n/l. Every country has its own fair share of challenges but as far as Nigeria is concerned, splitting is NOT the solution. We'll sure rise above the seeming unsurmountable walls. |
9ijaMan:Beaf can be quite funny sometimes, standup comedy is not a bad suggestion though ![]() But seriously the recent developments could spell doom for GEJ. If these guys have refused to adhere to their "consensus" northern rep, you can expect that more interest groups would eventually leave PDP and seek to gather a vehement resistance. Remember, those of a man's household could become his greatest enemy. This is especially when they are so familiar with the variety of padlocks used to secure front and back doors. |
Mbeki:Its not mandatory that you say something PLEASE, especially when all you have to say is the crap above. Lets not be quick to forget that some men of God prophesied Yar’adua’s death in office at the inception of his tenure. If someone goes public to deliver false messages in the name of God just for personal gains, let it be. If you believe there’s indeed a God, let Him defend Himself. ayusman16:^^So how come your children didn’t tell us about the blasts before they happened? Abeem:^^thank you |
While we all continue to condemn these sad developments, something drastic must done to curtail further occurences. Lets not forget that violence of this nature started spreading when we failed to nip militancy in the bud on time. Kidnapping is the consequence of unchecked vices like militancy. If kidnapping flourishes then dont be shocked when bomb blasts follow. When bomb blasting is not checkmated at the most early stage, more interest groups would be start taking advantage of the situation to make statements. Though some might truly have something say but using deadly weapons against your own countrymen is the height of foolishness. I dont wish to point fingers but really, this government must act quickly before its too late. This administration under GEJ must demonstrate its ability to effectively govern Nigeria. |
jacobs123:that was right on point. The road in question is not worth it. The road is only about 25% complete. I mean the stretch from Sandfill to Marwa is nothing compared to what lies ahead. How many lanes is LCC adding to the existing? Where are the alternative routes? Yet they want to collect tolls. Come on, if civilization means anything, this plan must met with stiff resisitance. |
Guyman02:^^thanks a lot. I sure wouldn't want to give occassion to another emotional outburst. All we want is peace in this country Anybody with pics should let us in. Pictures register better and reminds us about the effect our choices have on others. Sorry bout that guys. |
May God help Jega. Failure is not an excuse after much spending. He's got all he requested for. |
", These happenings including what we have not even witnessed or heard of, only God knows their magnitude (and) God shall Judge (in these matters) on the Day of Judgement, " Above is a quote from the Jamaa'atu Alhu relesase, claiming responsibility for the attack (https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-576117.0.html#msg7425861) Contradiction!! If indeed you believe God will judge, why carry out the judgement on His behalf? Is this what God sent you to do against fellow humans? Just imagine: someone's mother, someone's brother, may the Almighty deliver these people from the devil's bondage. |
Are you a little down on yourself about how things went in 2010…your relationships wane a bit… or maybe you’re frustrated about the fact you aren’t doing better in your job or business, or you haven’t been hitting your personal targets? The height of foolishness is to keep doing things the same way and expect a different result. What are the things you didnt do right or those you wish you had done? What lessons did you learn during the course of the year, hoping to make amends for a better 2011? As for me, CONSISTENCY was the missing ingredient. 2011 sure looks brighter! |
By principle,a leader is a reflection of his people's core values. |
royalworld:Well said! PDP has shown us what they have to offer. Power without a clear vision gives birth to a failed state. We will not fold our arms and allow these set of guys, who cannot even wisely manage internal affairs within their party, truncate our dream of a better Nigeria. Poverty to D People is headed for the rocks! |
omo_to_dun:^^u mean proposed? |
Hugh Hefner's Christmas was extra, extra jolly this year: He's engaged again! The Playboy founder, 84, is engaged to Crystal Harris, his 24-year-old girlfriend and Playmate, a Playboy rep confirms to UsMagazine.com. Hefner first Tweeted about it on Sunday. "When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears," the Girls Next Door star wrote. "This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory, I got what I was hoping for for Christmas, Crystal's love." To make his news absolutely clear, the mogul then added: "Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all." Can you believe these couples' age differences? It will be the third marriage for famous bachelor Hefner. He wed first wife Mildred in 1949 (they have grown children Christie, 58, and David, 55) before divorcing in 1959. In 1989, he walked down the aisle with Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad, and they went on to have sons Marston, 10, and Cooper, 9. The duo's divorce was finalized last year. source: http://omg.yahoo.com/news/hugh-hefner-84-engaged-to-playmate-24/53006?nc

PupetMasta:^^ all of these for juz one person. U dey try abeg. Cant stop laffnMine is a lady that wont stop bugging me. I dont know how the management managed to hire a computer semi-literate. Ordinary MSWord is JAMB. "I dont know whats wrong with this thing o. This "pointing one"(cursor) keeps going back to the center. eehn?", all manner of things appear and disappear like magic. Hardly will a minute pass without one question or the other; distraction of the highest order. But if I decline "cant you see my condition?" follows immediately. "Why are you doin this to me? Thought we were friends sha". Frnds, I moved my table shap shap! |
NnamdiN:^^guy, wot r u smoking? ![]() |
Mark my words: the success or otherwise of the forthcoming elections will ultimately determine what the future holds. WHY? The Youth has finally gotten the much-craved opportunity to watch over the elections as "umpires". We shall see whether our youth corpers (tomorrow's leaders) are hungry enough to jeopardise the integrity of the process in exchange for personal gains. Specifically monetary!! I'm saying this because a lot of corp members are excited about this development for the wrong reason - its time to make some "doe" NOT time to make a difference. You need to hear some conversations and realise what their perception is. We shall see whether all the agitations and open condemnation of corrupt politicians will culminate in action. We shall see what the younger generation can sacrifice to ensure that rigging is vehemently resisted with the understanding that this its a national call. We shall see what stuff our youths are made of. Talk is cheap. |
What this article and the many emotionally provoking comments has taught me. Some people made this country what it is today without realising what they were doing at that time. It took place over a period of time, not just a day. Now, you as a Nigerian, most importanltly a n/lander, must seek to promote values that encourage excellence and patriotism. All of these failures are opportunities for us to shine - do and make things right, starting now no matter how small. This is our opportunity. We must refuse to be shortsighted (me, myself, my family and associates). We are talking about Sanusi LAmido today, he obviously didnt start building his balls that morning on his way to National Assembly. Talk is cheap. What shall we say about YOU tomorrow? |
I had this little argument with my visiting niece this morning: to parboil rice or not. She says rice (not ofada ) is polished with nutrients and that parboiling washes the nutrient coatings away.I insist that the starchy content of rice in Nigeria is generally high (the water turns milky even while you wash) and that parboiling helps reduce the excess starch. What do you think? |
hmmmm, this conspiracy is leading smwhere. If use the whole of the world wide web to express our individual minds, it still may not avail much. lets just pray for this nation. They will all meet us in 2011 |
hydroking23:God bless u and 'My Joe". U guys have spoken my mind. its either they give us stable electricity or fix the refineries. FAILURE will forever be the portion of those cabals seeking to enslave Nigerians in the name of deregulation. They want Nigerians to be at their mercy. They dont ever pay for the said fuel, so they dont know whr it pinches. We'll never have to beg for electricity, watch our refineries rot away while we are busy importing fuel, and then pay high (into sm pples pocket) for fuel. Olorun o ni fun won se!!! |

Is this some kind of a joke?
