I have always told my Yoruba friends to leave dis Islamic religion to Hausas alone; they don't see Yoruba Muslims as real Muslims. If not, how cld buhari easily forgotten that all Muslims are not Hausas.

Yorubas u now know that d quit notice issued by d northerners is not meant for d Igbo alone, but for everybody who is not Hausa speaking person.

Now In General Is It Right For President Buhari To Address The Nation In Hausa?

The Nigeria Judiciary under CJN Walter Onnoghen is pitiably compromised by politicians. I won't be surprised if the court halts the ongoing process.

The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has insisted before an Ikeja High Court, on Tuesday that he remains the rightfully elected monarch of Lagos. This he disclosed at the resumed hearing of a suit challenging his right to the throne as Oba of Lagos.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that on May 22, 2017 the last adjournment day which was a day to the 14-year anniversary of his coronation on May 23, 2003 as the Oba of Lagos, Akiolu, citing historical sources, had told the court that he is the bona fide monarch of the state.

Akiolu’s title is being challenged by Prince Adedoyin Adebiyi and Prince Rasheed Modile who are both of the Akinsemoyin Ruling House of Lagos.

NAN also recalls that Adebiyi and Modile were candidates chosen by the Akinsemoyin Ruling House to contest the Obaship title in 2003 after the demise of Oba Adeyinka Oyekan, the then Oba of Lagos in 2003.

They lost the race to Akiolu who they alleged had no rightful claim to the throne. Joined in the suit as respondents are the state governor and the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Prince Awobade Pearse, Others are the representative of the Ologun Kutere Ruling House and Chief J.J Junaid – Eko and the head of the traditional white cap chiefs of Lagos.

Other respondents include Prince Kola Balogun and Mr Musibau Kelani, who are the respectively the Head and Secretary of the Eshilokun Royal Family. While being cross examined by Mr Babatunde Fashanu (SAN), Akiolu reasserted that the age-long traditional customs and traditions were followed in his selection as an oba.

Responding to claims that he was elected less than 90-days after the demise of Oyekan which is contrary to customs, Akiolu said that such a rule was non– existent.

“There have been 21 Obas of Lagos before the late Oba Oyekan, in the Lagos State selection of Obas, there is no 90-day rule.

“By the grace of God, I am a lawyer, I am duty bound to speak the truth, I have a duty to assist the court.

“The 90-day rule does not exist in the selection of Obas,” he said.

Akiolu disputed the claims of Adebiyi and Modile that he was not a descendant of Oba Ologun Kutere, a former Oba of Lagos who reigned from the late 1700s to the early 1800s.

“Oba Ologun Kutere had five children, one of which was Akiolu, Akintoye was the last child and Akiolu and Olusi were the older children.

“Akintoye was three months old when Oba Ologun Kutere died, I don’t know how old Akiolu was when his father died.

“By the grace of God, I am a direct descendant of Akiolu Ologun Kutere.”

When asked by Fashanu to state in order of seniority, the children of Oba Ologun Kutere, Akiolu retorted “I don’t know, I don’t work at the births and deaths registry.

“What is important is that Akiolu is the child of Ologun Kutere.

“There have been three members of the Akiolu family who ran for the Oba of Lagos including an Akiolu family member known as Baba Ita-Ado, I can’t remember when he ran and I cannot tell lies.

“All Lagos princes who have no curse placed on them are entitled to run for the kingship, it is however the prerogative of the king makers to choose who will be king.

“Many are called, few are chosen,” he said.

Akiolu noted that his being capped as Oba during his coronation ceremony by a representative of the Eleboro family was not illegal despite the fact that it was not presided over by Chief Eleboro, who personally caps Obas of Lagos.

“Contrary to claims that in the history of Lagos, no Oba has been capped by any person other than Chief Eleboro, Oba Adeniji Adele was capped by Chief Gafir.

“The Eleboro family capped me,” he said.

Akiolu denied holding grudges against individuals who he allegedly disliked by preventing them from succeeding him as the monarch in future.

An angry man has sent his wife packing out of their house after she reportedly moaned and made sweet noise while being raped by robbers who visited their house.

According to the man identified as Baba Eneh, robbers visited their residence in the Iyana Ejigbo area of Lagos State and raped his wife in his presence but to his shock, his wife was lost in the moment and started moaning to the supposed assault.

According to report, heavily armed men stormed the area and invaded the house at around 3:00 am demanding for money. Baba Ene, a native of Owukpa in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State was reported to have told the robbers that he only had N3,500 at home.

The robbers however collected the money and proceeded to rape his wife.

A source close to angry Baba Eneh narrated:

“Instead of her to cry for help, she was busy making some funny sounds, an indication that she was enjoying the sex, even in the presence of her husband.”
The man was reported to have thrown his wife out after the robbery incident noting that she disgraced him.

As stated above, this review was initiated and implemented in 2012 when GEJ was still president. Long before PMB became president in 2015.

Yesterday when I made a late night post about the brave police man that died defending a bank he was assigned to I did not even know the other part of the story. I did not know that the only surviving policeman out of the 3 policemen was badly hit by bullet and requires 3 Million Naira for medical purpose. The good thing about this story is not that "they say", we watched live footage captured on CCTV. We saw how the poor private security who opened the gate had to scamper for safety when gun shots rented the air. We saw how the policemen appeared professionally, without bullet vests, in a scene that can only be imagined on one of Sylvester Stallons movie . Yes they are men of the Nigerian Police Force we so much ridicule sometimes performing a dangerous duty diligently. The casualty figure is now, one died on the spot, a second one died few months after and the third is lying critically ill begging for medical assistance.

I thank God for whoever leaked the CCTV footage, God bless you plenty, perhaps this will mark the beginning of paying appropriate respect to security men who die in active service. As a matter of urgency I appeal to the Nigerian Police force and good spirited people all over the country to find ways of attending to the treatment of the lone survivor. Compensate the families of the two that died . And for the five year old boy that slumped at his Dad's graveside, it is not asking for too much if they sponsor him through the Police Primary School, Police Secondary school and even ensure he gets to the academy in Wudil. May the souls of the departed two rest in peace and may God send speedy help through good willed people to attend to the surviving officer. Amen

While we were speaking in tongues, Denmark went into education of her citizens.
While we were mounting big speakers in our places of worship, USA was mounting man on the moon.
After our prayers, God, being a wise God decided to reward us according to our labour.
Since those that went into industrialisation, technology, infra structural development, ICT, education etc have been rewarded accordingly. It's only wise God rewards us with our efforts in prayers.

That's why today, Nigerian pastors are competing in building the biggest churches. That's why there are more prayer houses and worship places than hospitals and schools. That's why people rush to prayer houses for medical and business solutions instead of hospitals & business schools. That's why we don't do business feasibility before jumping into it since we are going to back it up with prayers. And when it collapses, we blame devil.

That's why it's a sin to say anything negative about Pastors and Imams.
That's why our Pastors don't consider the opinion of engineers while building and blame devil when the building collapses.
That's why faith in God replaces building pillars and when it collapses we blame it on Lucifer.
That's why our Pastors are making sure they plant Church branches instead of schools on every street in Nigeria.
That's why we always wait for God to do for us that which ability would've accomplished.
That's why we want our teachers to labour on earth and go to heaven for their rewards.

Nigeria is a prayer loving, God fearing nation. Religiosity has taken the place of technology, infrastructure, education etc.

When travelling, we ignore all the necessary road requirements, servicing of our vehicles and pray. And, once we pray, we can put a half serviceable vehicles on the road and blame our step mothers or mothers in law if anything goes wrong.

We have a Government of increase, in just 18months, they've increased the price of fuel from 86 to 145, Kerosene from 80 to 200, the prices of goods have doubled and there's no hope that things will get better anytime soon.

A pan Igbo socio- cultural group, Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) is seeking audience with American President-elect, Mr. Donald Trump, just as it has sent a congratulatory message to him on his victory.
ADF is a corporate body of intellectuals, clergy, traditional rulers, businessmen, politicians, women and youth of Igbo origin who are working to overcome the state of endemic corruption, political and economic marginalisation in the country.
In a November 12, 2016 congratulatory letter and signed by Prof. Uzodinma Nwala, president and Prof Nath Aniekwu, secretary, respectively, the group said Trump’s role in global affairs and his importance in the world can not be over emphasised.
In the letter, the group described the Igbo Nation as one of the three biggest ethnic nationalities that were brought together with several others for the administrative convenience of the British Colonial Regime to make up the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1914, mainly to serve British interest.
It alleged ethnic exclusion, genocide, systemic alienation of the Igbo Ethnic Nationality in the Nigerian Federation, a situation which it said had worsened since the end of the Biafra war in 1970.
‘’We Igbos have no sense of belonging in the political contraption known as Nigeria today. We have also been severally unable to fulfil our legitimate aspirations as a people in the country as a result of its lopsided hegemonic and corruption–driven contrivance.
‘’Igbos are found across the globe, being a great cosmopolitan people with the immense God-given gift of an entrepreneurial spirit and culture. Since the second decade of the last Century, Igbos have emigrated in large numbers to the United States where they found a second home in search of education and attracted by the spirit and practice of self-actualisation, acknowledgment of merit, embodied in the American Dream and the core essence of American democracy; themselves being children of a society that is traditionally republican and democratic in practice well before the inception of the British colonial rule’’.
ADF said Trump’s victory “represents a hope for a new world order in which America shall chart an independent foreign policy, especially in Africa, devoid of British colonialist manipulation and interests.”
While collectively praying for Trump’s success through God’s blessings, ADF offered fervent prayers for his administration to help usher in a new world order, and reverse America’s pro-British policy in Africa.
‘’ADF looks forward to and will eagerly embrace a new American foreign policy under your leadership that recognises the inalienable fundamental rights of Peoples to the protection of their ancestral homes, their lives, property, religion and their faith, to equity and justice and, above all, their right to self-determination’’.

OBAMA ORDERS INVESTIGATION INTO ELECTION RESULTS THAT MADE TRUMP WIN.[SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER DECLARING INVESTIGATION INTO ELECTION RESULTS; REVOTE PLANNED FOR DEC. 19TH]

Following the results of Tuesday night’s election, President Obama has signed Executive Order 13805, which orders a full recount of all votes cast in the election and calls for a special election to be held on December 19th. Obama signed the order in response to the concerns of thousands of voters across the country who said that they were prevented from casting a ballot on election day, too many absentee ballots have not been found or counted, equipment failures, as well as concerns that some members of the electoral college may have acted unethically.

“People all over the country have been flooding my office with calls, telling my staff of horror stories about being harassed and intimidated by poll workers,” Obama told reporters. “Many have even said that they were flat out denied entry into the voting booths to cast their ballots if they were wearing a Hillary Clinton shirt or other signs showing support for her as President. This was especially bad in areas of Florida and North Carolina where there are high numbers of Latino and African American voters. We must investigate these claims. The margin of victory is too close to call, and the outcome of this election is too important. There is just too many legal challenges in too many states to just call this a victory for Trump.”

Under the President’s order, the votes cast in all precincts nationwide will be recounted, and all poll workers who took part in Tuesday’s election will be subjected to strict background checks. This process is expected to take 30 days. In precincts where the Department of Justice has cause to believe that voter suppression has occurred, new elections will be held on Dec. 19th, with those results being used to help determine who will represent the individual states in the electoral college.

Not surprisingly, Donald Trump is not happy with the president’s decision.

“Crooked Hillary lost this election fair and square. They tried to rig this election against me, but the American people didn’t allow that to happen. President Obama doesn’t care about what the American people want. I said the system was rigged all along, and this proves I was right.”

The president also said that the DOJ will be taking a close look at the members of the electoral college.

“We have received information from a very reliable source that suggests there may have been some collusion between the members of the electoral college and poll workers in certain swing states. We still need to investigate these claims, but if they are true, we will take all the appropriate actions necessary.”

Paul Horner, a professor of political science at UCLA, believes that the issues with the electoral college run much deeper that this election.

“Most people feel that it is their right as citizens to pick the president of the United States, but there is nothing in the constitution that says that. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 200,000 votes, but because of the electoral college, she still lost. That decision is reserved solely for the 538 electors who meet in their respective states on December 19th. What the people are actually voting for are their states’ electors, not for the President. Though the system is odd and unfair, it has persisted because many insist that it works just fine as it is, with the winner of the popular and electoral vote usually matching. That does not mean, however, that it will continue to work just fine in the future. The way the system is set up could cause it to malfunction in some potentially terrifying ways, this recent election being one of them.”

Political Analyst Matt Daemon told ABC News that he agrees with the President’s Executive Order and said that he would like to see the electoral college done away with altogether.

“[The electoral college] is a f—king joke; we should be using the popular vote instead. It may have made sense in 1788, but so did the three fifths compromise. Everyone should have an equal vote, and that’s just not the case with the electoral college. You know what the electoral college gave us? It gave us George W. Bush. It gave us a war in Iraq, and the worst recession since the great depression. It’s time to bring our system into the 21st century. I hope Obama fixes this, because president Trump is going to be a nightmare.”

Obama finished up the press conference explaining his plans for moving forward.

The US President-elect, Donald Trump’s team has reportedly removed the statement on his website to ban all Muslims and blacks, especially Nigerians from the country if Trump becomes president. The page now redirects to another page encouraging voters to donate to his campaign. Trump and his allies had consistently defended the ban, insisting the measure was about Americans’ “safety” and not about discriminating against religion.
Recall that Trump had sent a subtle warning to the Nigerian Community in the US, after he said all Nigerians would be made to leave the country if he becomes President. He reportedly made the ‘threat’ during a rally at Wichita, Kansas, saying Nigerians and Mexicans have taken all the jobs meant for honest hard working Americans.
He was quoted to have said, “We need to get the Africans out. Not the blacks, the Africans. Especially the Nigerians. They’re everywhere. “I went for a rally in Alaska and met just one African in the entire state. Where was he from? Nigeria! He’s in Alaska taking our jobs.“They’re in Houston taking our jobs. Why can’t they stay in their own country?

I just heard Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu would have turned 83 years old today. I celebrate this iconic personality who loved his people and Nigeria passionately and unconditionally.

I salute his courage of reintegration and vigorous participation in the political dynamism of Nigeria. He returned from exile, forgetting any perceived injustice done him by Nigeria and worked assiduously within his capacity for the development of his country.

Today, most politicians who came to limelight and reckoning on the platform of APGA have jettisoned the ideal the party stood for, for a morsel of porridge, they abandoned the party that brought them to power for a party that is lacking both in ideology and principle.

And those clamouring for self rule are doing so not for the love they have for the Igbo people and nation but for personal enrichment and selfish aggrandizement.

Happy posthumous birthday to Eze Ndigbo gburugburu! May your beautiful soul continue to rest in the peaceful bosom of the Almighty.

Buhari Orders EFCC To Probe Aisha Buhari and Her Family

Reliable information revealed the troubles bedeviling the 1st family of Nigeria maybe far from over judging by the demeanor of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria and the body language instruction dished out to the various anti-graft agencies in the country.

A highly reliable source stated that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] has opened a comprehensive probe on the person of the 1st lady over her interaction with the many lobbyists looking to reach her husband for a favor.

Source revealed that the relationship between the 1st lady and the President had so much deteriorated to a near none existent following a few days after the swearing-in as the President of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Chief on the top reasons why the President turned away from the 1st lady was her desire to play the role of the 1st lady in the manner other 1st ladies had played – in the likes of Stella Obasanjo, Turaki Yar’Adua and Patience Jonathan.

Aisha Buhari wanted to have the type of influence over her husband as the other 1st ladies before her. She wants to influence who is appointed to certain sensitive positions in her husband’s administration, and to effectively control certain aspect of the government. It has been claimed that up to about N1.3trillion was stolen from the nation’s treasury under the immediate past administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan. This claim was made by the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, PACAC, on Thursday. Presenting the report of its activity from August to July to civil society organisations in Abuja, PACAC Executive Secretary, Professor Bolaji Owasanoye disclosed that the large sum of money was stolen by fifty-five persons. Declaring that corruption brought Nigeria to her present situation, Owasanoye berated the former president for tolerating the vice.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had in September declared that he will continue to blame past administrations for the current economic challenges facing the country. Owasanoye claimed that Jonathan was not bothered that his administration fared worse than his predecessors in tackling corruption.
According to him, “His (Jonathan’s) tolerance of corruption was reflected in the sunset of activities of anti-corruption agencies under his watch and exponential increase of other vices no doubt fuel by corruption. “For example, it is widely believed that insecurity escalated because of the massive embezzlement of $2billion through the Office of the National Security Adviser under the leadership of Col. Sambo Dasuki, who allegedly diverted the money appropriated to fight insurgency.
“The problems in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry reached zenith with multi-billion dollars subsidy scams while President Jonathan looked the other way. “At the same time, other vices spread like cancer – kidnapping, import duty waivers, financial recklessness, a profligate legislature, corrupt judiciary, etc. There was no single high profile conviction under his watch yet there were allegations of high profile corruption within his cabinet.
“Jonathan’s legendary comment that stealing is not corruption underscored his perspective on corruption and remains a watershed in the history of anti-corruption crusade in Nigeria.
“Under his watch, corruption brought Nigeria to its knees. “Using World Bank rates, one-third of the N1.3trillion allegedly stolen by only 55 people in seven years could have provided 635.18 kilometers of roads, built 36 ultra-modern hospitals in each state, built and furnished 183 schools, educated 3,974 people from primary to tertiary level (at N25.2million per child) and built 20,062 units of two-bedroom houses.
“While former President Olusegun Obasanjo established key anti-corruption agencies which led to high-profile convictions even though his actions were not above board, the crusade against corruption went comatose from 2007 largely due to leadership deficit. “Corruption is Nigeria’s greatest challenge and is directly associated with the current economic decline, poverty rates, reduced life expectancy, mortality and deteriorated living standards.
“Due to corruption, a few Nigerians were richer than their states, while plea bargaining was abused as people who stole the country dry were given slaps on the wrist and asked to go home.”

The crisis in APC today is caused by those hawks who have hijacked the presidency.

They know little about politics of inclusion, they are playing regional and religious politics of old which can only breed acrimony and extinguish national cohesion.

They are playing politics of winner takes all, politics of exclusion, forgetting that in politics you do not only work to strengthen your base, you also work to attract new supporters among independents and even opposition.

The youths who were instrumental to the APC winning the 2015 election are becoming disenchanted with the way the party and the country is being run and they are blaming the president for it.

Mrs Aisha Buhari was only echoing the thoughts of the silent majority like us. We love the President wholeheartedly but we're not happy with his aloofness in matters relating to the direction the country is headed. We want him to be more assertive and not leave everything in the hands of some bigoted goons in his government.

Like Madam said, most appointments made are not known to the President but the president takes the planks of criticism all the time and we, his supporters are left to defend Mr President. The president should know that the bulk stops at his table and we will hold him accountable at the end of the day.

My support for the President remains UNSHAKEN and UNFLINCHING but I urge him not to make the same mistake OBJ made in his first term when in his bid to reconcile Nigeria with the international community, he left local affairs in the hands of Atiku who took the advantage to advance his political ambition which almost cost Baba OBJ his second term bid.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has said that the State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) comment on the purported visit of the Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari to the United States of America (USA) as a function of total ignorance and mischief, saying; “Even the Presidency has not told anyone that wife of the President travelled to the USA and in official communications, only ignorant and mischief makers in the APC will belief that a trip to the USA will be made by Mrs Buhari and Nigerians will only get to know about it through online media.”

The PDP, which said it would have ignored the APC and allowed those in the party to continue to wallop in their self-deceit, added that “it is only in the world of the APC that wife of the President of Nigeria, the most populous black nation in the world would travel to the USA, ostensibly to debunk her involvement in a major scam and no television station will report her departure and arrival. The question is, did she travel to USA or Qatar?”

In a statement issued on Monday by the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr Jackson Adebayo, the party said; “If the Presidency has not been bold enough to tell Nigerians that Mrs Aisha Buhari travelled to the USA on official visit, only a party of scammers like the APC will go on the rooftops to celebrate photoshoped pictures as evidence of visit to USA.”

The party said “it is strange that wife of the President of Nigeria could travel to the USA and purportedly attended events there without international television stations like CNN, Al jazeera, BBC, Sky News etc and local stations like Channels TV, NTA, AIT and others reporting it. Or are they still ‘editing’ the video clips?”

While casting doubt at the purported trip, the PDP said: “Even if Mrs Aisha Buhari actually travelled to the USA, does that erase the fact that in the judgment delivered by the United State District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, USA, in criminal No 1: 07CR209, that indicted the USA Congressman, Williams Jefferson, it was mentioned that $170,000 was transferred from account in Nigeria in the name of Aisha Buhari to an account in the name of The ANJ Group, LLC, identifying William Jefferson as beneficiary?”

The statement read further; “As a party of responsible and discerning minds, the PDP in Ekiti State would have elected to ignore the APC and allow the party the freedom to advertise it idiocy. This is more so that the matter is now a subject of litigation and the no one has denied the existence of the judgment that indicted Williams Jefferson and featured conspicuously at page 22, the name of Aisha Buhari as having transferred $170,000 from account in Nigeria to William Jefferson.

“Most importantly, Nigerians have witnessed more heinous forgeries from the APC, one of them being pictorial claim that President Buhari (as APC presidential candidate then) had an interview with Kemi Fadojutimi on ‘All Eyes on Africa’ TV show in London, whereas the interview was held in Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

“However, it is important to point out that from all evidences, the pictures circulated as arrival of President Buhari’s wife at Dulles International Airport, Washington DC could have been taken at the Doha International Airport, Qatar. Even on the official website of George Mason University and US Institute of Peace, USA where the president’s was said to have attended events, there is nothing to show that she attended any event in the two institutions.
“We have seen pictures of Wife of the Senate President, Toyin Saraki with President Barrack Obama’s wife, Michelle. We also saw pictures of Mrs Patience Jonathan with Michelle Obama when she visited the USA. Where are Aisha Buhari’s pictures with the First Lady of USA and major government officials from the country? Or could she have arrived and departed from the USA like a spirit?”
