hiawathia1981: I understand. I think we might need to try a different approach. Ok, so you are starting completely over? Do u have a reliable internet connection? If so I think you should consider online schooling. In any major, there are core courses that have to be completed no matter the program; for instance english, math, social sciences. Those courses do not have to be physically done on campus. So if u can get admitted to an US university, complete those online and then you can transfer to a university with an ultrasound program. Or u could choose the university with the ultrasound program do those courses online. Meanwhile still go through the process of getting to the US. I will still look into the ultrasound programs for you.
You are right....it woukd be better for her if she can do all the prerequisites which dont necessarily need a physical practical online in Nigeria That would save her time and energy when she eventually comes over.
FrankNetter: That’s my plan bro. My vexation now is that I waited for almost two years for a transcript that’s totally useless. My younger ones are rounding up their programs already (Pre-Pharm and Pre-Med).
I’m not wasting any more time, I’m currently in the process of enrolling in Prairie state college which is close to my house. I’m taking the English placement test this weekend and math placement next two weeks (I need to prepare). I’m also looking to channel this energy and enroll in GED so I won’t deal with this whole Nigerian-transfer-credit brouhaha. **For those who don’t know, the GED certificate is equivalent to GCE for high school dropouts.
Chaii...if you knew sef you would have atleast started on an LPN license at least within this one year. But whats your final plan? Nursing or Medical School?
stonemasonn: yeAh, I wanted to suggest that too. It’s actually the best option, and starting with nursing assistant CNA (about 6 credits) is the easiest route. After RN, he can consider an Msc or dive straight to medical school.
Yeah, although the RN is an associate degree of 2 yrs. He can then do his BSN and then move over for his Nursing Practitioner which is the shangrila of nursing in the US.
Frank....you could hace applied in a community college for your RN and get on the spot admission. Thats what my guy did and now he is doing RN to BSN online after raking in some mega money as an RN. Time no de wait for anyone
femo86: Just came back from my holiday in Nigeria........

lestat: What I miss is life out there, my condo, my car, my friends , my favorite bar, comicon, fast internet , clean environment, civilized people, a society that works, excellent health care. A Congress man that actually respects people in his ward, a government that realizes how powerful the people are. Good food, I mean really good food. A powerful currency
I could go on and on. Anyone who lives and travels regularly can't ever say there's anything they miss here beyond the negatives, cutting taxes, avodimimg paying for services, police that you can control with money etc these are not things a.normal well adjusted adult should miss
So once again there's nothing to be missed about Nigeria
Bros you de vex oh. Dont you miss the fact that naija police will always coect bribe rather than issue you a ticket which will screw up your insurance fees
chukxie: I miss agoin beans with agege bread. I miss my mom's cooking. I miss the fish and chips in Abuja. I miss the gra~gra in 9ja especially in Lasgidi. I miss my fam there.
Lol....your mind de there jare.
No matter how much naija is screwed, we all have some childhood fantasies which we miss
The quest to leave Nigeria is so strong attimes that we feel we might never miss anything from the motherland. However after sometime we quietly miss some stuffs which can only be seen back home.
I miss: Suya Pumpkin leaf soup Over-speeding on the highway without thinking of speed cops lurking to give you a ticket Legend Extra stout
I dont however miss the way naija girls ask for transport fare each time they visit...lol
timesup234: mumu still converting currencies there. It is now globally accepted in the world that America is the land of failures and depressed people. Keep living in illusion when millions of Americans over 35 years are still living with their parents and most females students now sleep with Europeans in order to raise $200 to pay their monthly student loans. In reality Somalia is even better than America
timesup234: Keeping living in fantasy when the average Nigerian with just 400k savings is better than 75% of US. population. Nobody is telling stories so people lose interest, they are actually goinh through hell in the shithhole called America
The 400k is equivalent to what the govt here give out to people who cant work as welfarr every month including food stamps. Where is the 10k ur buhari govt promised u guys
timesup234: Keeping living in fantasy when the average Nigerian with just 400k savings is better than 75% of US. population. Nobody is telling stories so people lose interest, they are actually goinh through hell in the shithhole called America
Whats this one talking about? Abeg park well egbon
martinosi: Why cant we just talk the good from the video and stop cussing her out..she made some serious point..she has been in the USA for over 23 years..maybe she came there when she was in her early teens via her parents coming on visa lottery or applying for a Work visa..
Why cant people on nairaland grow up and be mature and respectful..."smh"
Jeez, hold your horses dude. You crying more than the bereaved. Oh, you didnt hear her curse people out and say shit like she own America. You got to understand, its not everyone in the US who wants people to come and join them. Some people enjoy d worship they get when the come back and would create badass stories to make people loose interest in coming to America. But these same people blasting the US, tell them to relocate back and they will tell you WAKA.
martinosi: dont judge dude dont be too quick to Judge..she is a Business owner and is speaking from experience She is a Storage Rentyal/Unit Owner....watch her second video..She is not just running her mouth....
She aint own shit....maybe she just works in the storage unit. She talking about storage units like its a big deal. People move into furnished apartments here in the US. All you gotta park in is your clothes amd car key. You can even get a whole new set of clothes in one day if you aint the load packing one. Abeg make we hear word
justwise: Honestly sometimes when i read your posts i get the impression you are writing them while under the influence of alcohol or some cheap weed.
You are telling me about Nigeria as if i'm a foreigner on a picnic in Nigeria. Dude i left Nigeria as an adult and visit frequently.
Stop this insane America vs Nigeria, these are two parallel lines.
Tell them bro...some dumb people will try to argue that Nigeria is better than US. Folks lie on their visa application and get permanent ban, then they feel they have the right to advise people from going to the US.
This girl is kindda stupid. I was even angrier wasting my damn time watching her crazy video. Your parents brought you from Nigeria when u were a baby on what grounds. Where they born in the US...hell no. You were just damn lucky to have come to the US and dont know shit about the suffer back home. What about tge Mexicans who leave all and move to the US. People like this fool will gladly call the cops on you when they see you are hustling better than them so they can claim your property. I still repeat, Nigeria is Bleep.ed and anyone who get chance make him march out and reorganize their lives. We got milkions if graduates roaming the street begging for 20k work. Gaddam. Graduates dont beg for job in the US. A high school diploma holder will comfortably marry and train his kids on minimum wage here. Be wise and stop listening to frustrated dummies.
This dude is doing free promo here on nairaland and he never gets charged a dime. He is obviously the manager of those girls he post online and claims they are stars. Nairaland mods de do ojoro
voicelez: That's what happens to a fan that doesn't respect him self, crush on your level of girls to avoid insults. This one looking like a sex doll do use you shine If you check well you will discover one guy somewhere is tired of her pu**y
BlowJobs: bro, i wish i met a Nigerian girl. I want to eat Naija food.
i'm sure lot of people on this thread don't wanna meet naija girls when they enta yankee. They want to explore first. That's why i gave them those tips
When dem taya, dem go dey find Naija "wife material" girls
You are right on point bro. Its only a naija girl that will reason to cook egusi soup or even make goat meat pepper soup for you in the US. Trust me we crave all that lil shit. Only naija girl will understand you when u use eyes talk to am in public. Only naija babe will make you have investments back home and not flex all the money abroad....
