PLEASE HELP ME

Can 800 pound budget fly for my mum.....it's full sponsorship from us,she will only include her statement but she's not contributing anything and we are thinking of inputting 2weeks or 3weeks visit.
Accommodation and feeding on us..
The 800pound is for flight shopping and miscellaneous
Can it fly?

She was previously rejected in March cuz we put 5months and 2,000pounds as budget and that she's adding 500pound from her end...but the application was bounced on financial grounds cuz then we submitted with 2800 balance and she had 1550 balance. But now we have saved like 3,000 and we gonna add more 2500 before she applies in June.

Thanks

Help. Me

Thank you so much boss for your time. I am very very grateful. My fears are now allayed. God will continue to support you in everything you do

From experience if it's her first time of travelling 4months won't fly...they will look for one excuse, put 3weeks .....they will give her 6months and after her three weeks send a mail on her behalf to home office that she may not be able to leave after the 3weeks because of your new baby and you needs her around more...then state the new date which Is below the 6months month visit visa and make sure she leaves on or before the new date you have sent.

Thanks

justwise:

-Her application was badly planned so the outcome wasn't surprising.

-You don't expect a retired elderly woman to spend £500 of her savings on foreign trip.

-You people decided to start playing money into her account few days to her application without explaining where the money came from.

Your husband planning to spend all his savings on her visit ..does not add up.

If you want to reapply then sponsor the whole trip but £2000 in your husband's account will not fly.

Thanks Justwise

the source was explained that it was cash from her store and contributions that she put in there and that she does more of cash transaction more....

1.so should we reduce the number of months (3weeks instead of 5months )

2.Amount she will be spending to 100pound is that reasonable then

3.Hubby contribution to 1000pounds with 4,000 plus balance

Do you think it will fly then
Planning to reapply in July....as we want to run her account from now till then. We thought since it was going to be an all expense paid so we didn't run the account for her we just some money so that when she prints statement it won't have small money and we explained too

4.It was not all my husband savings it was balance available as at date statement was printed and we thought since we indicated she will be arriving in July that they will consider that more money will come in then as 6months payslips was submitted

Hi folks,I would not want to sound negative but I honestly won't advise my enemy to come to UK for masters especially if your aim is to stay back.UK is very hostile to immigrants. They no longer issue post grad work permit again, once you finish your masters, they will throw you out.

I would advise you guys to channel your energy and search to Canada,Germany or Australia. These countries are immigrant friendly.Canada and Australia award points for schooling there through their point based system.

A lot of guys have made this mistake of studying in UK and ended up regretting it.Another thing is if you are done with Masters in UK and decide to go to OZ,Canada or Germany for another masters after realising you wasted your money in UK it becomes difficult to convince a Visa Officer why you are doing a second masters or even admission committee instead of PhD.

Please have a rethink.

You sound experienced.. So I wanna ask.Can I proceed to Canada for my pH.d...cuz that's my plan.thanks

Hi @holubukola,

You're welcome.

There's a section of the application form which asks for your maiden name and if you've been known by different names or aliases in the past; you can list the names here including the one on your bank account.

Get an affidavit stating that all 3 names are for one and the same person (you) and include it in your application along with the newspaper publication.

You can also include a cover letter explaining this just so the ECO doesn't have a chance to miss it.

Thanks so much

1. Currently standard applications are treated within the 15 working days timeline (this is also dependent on information on your submitted application) so it's basically up to you to decide. You can go for priority if you don't want to take chances.

2. Biometrics and interview are always on the same day for Nigeria.

3. You can pay for the courier service (This means that you wouldn't be getting your passport until between 1-3 days after TLS receives it).

4. It depends on how much you're paying. A standard application plus IHS is around $802-820 for a year's course so if you multiply by 2, you will be paying $1,640.
GTBank's forex limit is currently $3,000 so if you're using GTBank and you're paying for only 2, you can use your GTBank Naira MasterCard. Stanbic's limit is also $3,000. There's not much difference in the black market rate and what the bank will pull from your account.
If you use another bank, verify their transaction limit on their
Naira card before use.
If what you will be paying is more than your bank's $ limit, buy $ from black market and fund your $ card.

Thanks for the prompt response my next question that I really need help on is on name discrepancies

LETS assume My maiden name is ADESHOLA MARY JAGUN......

Married to TEMITOPE ISREAL FISAYO

I have been married for 3years but I just recently changed my name and also did a newspaper publication also with new name as ADESHOLA MARY ISREAL......Reason been that we no longer want to use FISAYO

1.Hubby has his international passport as TEMITOPE ISREAL FISAYO

2.I have my international passport as ADESHOLA MARY JAGUN......

3.I was offered unconditional admission as ADESHOLA ISREAL.

4.we will be using our joint account with my name and his name written as ADESHOLA FISAYO&TEMITOPE ISREAL.....at the point of opening the account I was requested to submit marriage certificate since I had maiden name in the id I use then and the bank said they will pick two names each and they picked that FISAYO that we no longer want to use for me...because we opened the account immediately after our wedding

My question:

Will a letter of explanation suffice for me as hubby will be coming along as a dependant?

Won't Hubby's name be questioned that why does he have my last name as his middle name.

Frankrobbn1 please help a sister is it possible or achievable after finishing my MSC in UK to apply for ph.d in Canada with hubby and 2kids?
Please I will be expecting your counsel and advise

Frankrobbn1:

A guided one from HiSignature.

Sure, you can apply and change your status from visitor to student while you are in Canada. However, your chances of getting an approval is slim. In as much as one of the major conditions of being approved for a study permit is to show that you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans whatsoever on remaining in Canada after studies. If you are already in Canada on a visiting visa, it will be more difficult to prove ties to your home country. Once refused within Canada, it also lowers your chances of getting an approval when you apply from your home country because you have violated the terms and conditions imposed on your visiting visa by attempting to change your status to a study visa.

You would be better off leaving Canada and applying from outside of Canada (Nigeria). You have a higher chance of approval if you apply from your home country, because it is much more easier to show ties to your home country and a plus to your application, in the sense that you have demonstrated to the visa officer that you were on a visiting visa to Canada but have to return back to your home country to apply for a study permit, which adds more credibility to your study permit application and further evidence that you will abide to the terms and conditions of your study permit when issued to you.

People who apply within Canada, don't apply directly inside Canada at Vegreville, They have to travel all the way from Canada to the US (Los Angeles) to apply for a study permit. Most often, these are students who have completed a short term program like ESL/FSL while on a visiting visa to Canada and then decide to further for a higher studies(a degree).

All the best!

2 years visit visa - £350
Super priority service (decision within 24 hours) is additional £750
You can worked that out. Definitely it will not be $567! I guess your friend had only paid 2 years visa plus additional fees where applicable. [/quote]

Frankrobbn1:

holubukola,

Madam, there are few samples of SOP at the beginning of this thread, I beg you to check page 0 of this thread you will find some. Also, you can get so many through www.google.com. But beware of plagiarism while picking some points from the internet.
Sure! SOP is not compulsory but necessary. Because we have some records of few applicants that didn't include an SOP in their application and got approved, while some were rejected.
With the present situation on ground, SOP/LOE is very important when it comes to Canada study visa. I'll advise you include them in your application as it will further buttress your study gaps, why the program, why you choose Canada and not Nigeria, your home ties, financial establishment and after study plan (career goals) and prospects in Nigeria.
Finally a well written SOP does wonders in your application and can land you a visa approval.

All the best!

I guess I came across such school today while browsing through the internet. Oh! Unfortunately, I was unable to lay my hands on the school. undecided
But for real, it's difficult to find such school that offers PGD on the discipline of Business administration and pays upon arrival. Most schools will require an applicant to pay at least a tuition deposit or an acceptance fee. You can as well extend this question to www.quora.com or www.google.com grin grin grin
I also want to ask that is SOP compulsory because it was not listed among the requires documents in kine
