23 members of the Kwara State House of Assembly, KHAS, defected this morning to the leading opposition, PDP.

This is coming after Senate President, Bukola Saraki, a son of the soil and the State Governor, Abdulfatai Ahmed defected yesterday to PDP yesterday.

Reading out a joint letter appended to by all defecting members, Rt. Hon. Alli Ahmad, speaker of the state legislature, stated that the members alleged that their move was informed by factionalisation of the ruling party at the local level.

At the end of reading of the letter, the speaker, himself, appended his signature to the list of defectors which already had his name as one of the defectors.

“I am so happy leaving the APC today,” he said.
A lot of top politicians in the state have also formally defected.

Police wish to speak with Unchenna Nwanokwu in connection with a serious assault which left a woman in a serious condition.

The 38-year-old is wanted by police after they were called to reports of the attack at 6.40pm on Saturday, July 28 at a home in the E15 area of Newham.

Officers attended the address where they forced entry and found the 26-year-old victim.
She was taken by the London Ambulance Service to hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition.

Nwanokwu, who was known to the victim has links to the Battersea and Croydon areas.
Detective Constable Lucie Fish, attached to Forest Gate CID, said: “We would urgently like to speak to Unchenna Nwanokwu in regards to this very violent assault.

“If anyone knows of his whereabouts please call police as soon as possible.”
For now, Unchenna is still in hiding.

A judge of the Akwa Ibom State High Court, Justice Okon Okon, was beaten by some kidnappers after he sentenced them to death.
It was learnt that as soon as the presiding judge pronounced the death sentence on the kidnappers, the convicts started to abuse him and went on to attack him within the court premises.

The kidnappers also went on to threaten to kill the Akwa Ibom State Government’s prosecution team.

The criminals later went berserk, destroying the window of the courtroom and causing pandemonium along Ikot Ekpene Road, where the court is located.

A source told Punch Nigeria;
“ The situation became messy, as litigants and lawyers in other courts ran helter-skelter for dear lives.

“For about an hour, the kidnappers refused to leave the courtroom. It took the intervention of a combined team of soldiers and policemen to take the convicts to a waiting prison vehicle.”
The names of the convicts were given as Bernard Ajomaya, Christian Naya, Daniel West and Shedrach Dala.

They were accused of kidnapping a medical expert in Uyo, Dr Usen Bassey, on May 19, 2015, and demanding N10m ransom.

They were later arrested with part of their loot, the passport and financial documents belonging to the doctor.

A man identified has Omobola has taken to his Instagram profile to narrate his ordeal in the hands of SARS operatives in Ondo State. According to him, his only offence was joining them at a Fried Yam spot.

Omobola revealed that the officers were at the spot and he also chose to get the delicacy for himself at that time and that was how one of the them asked about his car and before he knew what was happening, he had been driven in their van to another town in the state.

What would have been a great concert by Mayorkun, yesterday, at the Palms Mall, Ibadan, was marred by cases of violence and reckless sexual intercourses by his fans.

According to reports, an invited journalist attached to NostoryTV, was mercilessly beaten by Davido’s bodyguard and had to be rushed to UCH to be revived.

It was gathered that the journalist had approached Davido for an interview, but with just few steps to getting to where the singer was, the journalist was dragged by his bodyguard and punched, before being beaten till he lost consciousness, even with his evident access tag. .
Thankfully, the victim was revived at UCH, but he had his equipment damaged and was left with a swollen face. Many pieces of used condoms were also spotted all over the event ground as people had sex with reckless abandon, while the concert was going on.

Under the watch of Olubankole Wellington, his career flourished as he became the first to ever do it at a very young age around this clime.
From “Holla At Your Boy”, “Don’t Dull”, “Love My Baby”, “Pakrumo” to the entire “Superstar” album, his fame shattered glass ceilings and was space bound. It got to a point EME wasn’t enough room for him, he had to breakout find new grounds to grow further.

It’s December 24,2017 at Eko Hotel & Suites precisely #Wizkidtheconcert where the starboy verbally signed an impressive young rapper, Ahmed on stage to his label. Fast forward to 2018, Wizkid again welcomes a new kid Terri to Starboy. A record “Soco” is released which features potential starboys Spotless, Ceeza Milli. As usual “Soco” turns out to be a mega jam.

The problem here is that nothing has been heard from the new ‘starboys’ again. It’s been months since they were allegedly signed and Terri especially doesn’t have a solo single out yet under the imprint. Let’s say young Ahmed is preoccupied with school. Spotless, Ceeza Milli were only blessed to feature on the “Soco” record, that leaves behind Terri who Wizkid announced to be on the label.
Judging from the pattern, it inspires a bit of doubt that Wizkid may drop off these “starboys” unceremoniously from his label sooner or later. Since nothing has been heard from them, also from the look of things it feels Wizzy isn’t carrying them along as much as possible or as would be expected from a mentor.

So I ask – has Wizkid abandoned his star boys?

If i react to this now they will be saying another thing, But now for just no reason my father took hammer and broke my head. A man has been found naked and half-eaten by his own beloved dog on his bedroom floor - with his face chewed down to the skull.

Glenn Pattinson, 62, was eaten by his hungry and thirsty pet, Cujo, after he died at his rented home in Thailand up to 10 days ago.

Locked alone in the room with Glenn, the five-year-old dog began chomping away on his master's body, including his face and torso.

Rescue workers were only alerted last Friday when neighbours began to complain about the canine's constant barking.

The neighbours were suspicious that Cujo wasn't being taken for a walk, leading to the shocking discovery of his owner's body.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene found Glenn naked- with his face chewed down to the skull and his ribs also exposed.

Thai breed Cujo was sitting faithfully by his Canadian master's side at the apartment in the Sattahip district, near Pattaya.

He had dried blood caked around his mouth.

After police arrived at the property, officers posed for a bizarre picture, in which they pointed accusingly at the confused dog.

The cause of Glenn's death has yet to be established, but police said they were not treating his passing as suspicious.

Resident Bell Suchin, 34, said: ''The foreign man had lived here for about three years and he was friendly.

"He loved his dog, he took him for walks every night."

Medics said Glenn - who lived alone - had been taken to hospital two weeks ago before being discharged to return home.

They said diabetes-related tables were found in the room.

"He had been dead for between 7 and 10 days. The male dog was by his side and did not have water for several days.

''There were no signs of fighting or the room being ransacked. We know that the dead man lived alone.

"The corpse has now been taken for a forensic examination to find the cause of death."

The Commissioner of Police in Delta, Mohammad Mustafa, has confirmed the killing of a woman by her father-in-law, Mr Adesco, who also killed himself in Erovie quarters in Ozoro in Delta.

Mustafa said that the command had begun investigation into the incident to unravel its cause.

“We have since begun investigation into the matter with a view to unravelling the circumstances that may have led to the incident,“ he said.


According to a witness who pleaded anonymity, Mr Adesco, 65, who was a famous hunter in the community, had a misunderstanding with the deceased woman earlier in the morning.
He said that the late Adesco committed the crime in the afternoon after the woman returned from farm.


He said that people from Aradhe/ Ovrode community of Delta, the deceased woman’s place, had gone to inquire about the cause of their daughter’s death.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the incident which was described as double tragedy, grounded business and social activities in the community for over three hours as the people rushed to the scene to have a glimpse of the incident.

2. I've always also said & I maintain it; do not sleep around because your body is too precious & deserves respect. You deserve love & dignity. I've always said sex should only happen when you find yourself in a loving relationship, with someone you love & who loves you back. I was 100% celibate until I was ready to share my life with someone and I met the man of my dreams. (unfortunately, I can't share him with the internet..lol)
