Please Guys, we need to be civil. It is uncalled for having so much insult being hurled around on a Phone-related Thread.

OP, your Question is much more about English than Technology. The Words Refurbished, Used and Cloned have different meanings. A Used Phone is not necessarily refurbished, but a Refurbished Phone is a used Phone. Even a Phone with a slightly cracked Screen which was replaced is not just a Used Phone, but also a Refurbished Phone.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with Refurbished Phones.

When a Used Product is refurbished, it's Value goes up (you can especially notice this in Automobile and Real Estates).

In my aforementioned Example, which one would you prefer to purchase - a Used Phone whose Screen is slightly broken, or One whose broken Screen had been replaced before being put up for Sale? You yourself know the Answer.

A Cloned Phone is a Replica, which simply means a Fake.

**** OP, now coming back to your main Question, the Phone you saw which was being advertised as Refurbished is not. It is a Clone, which means a Fake. It has an iPhone`s Exterior with substandard Android Interior. I also deal in Phones, so I can easily know (tell) when I see a Clone. Cheers!

****** By the way, our Company sells (Shipped from Abroad) both Brand New and Refurbished Phones. You can view them on our Website.

But tecno in the top 10 is not a suprise because that company is really trying. The problem with china is, they manufacture the best and use in their country, then manufacture sub-standard to export thereby giving them bad name. Take OPPO for example.

I can relate to what you wrote.
All the Phones I have ever used are "Made In China for China Use" Phones. All I do is just switch to the English Language Option, and I rarely have a Problem with any of my Phones. Coincidentally, I also work for a Company that sells Phones. I always tell our Customers that "Made for Domestic Use" China Phones are far superior to the so-called Global Versions which are always susceptible to having Issues.
No Country reserves the better/best Versions of their Products for Foreign Consumers!

Having said the above, please don't smuggle Techno into the List. I have seen the List. Techno is not on the List. It is not yet a Global Company. It is a Chinese Company not known in China, and specifically founded for Developing Nations. No Store in China sells a Techno Product because it is simply not known there.

Where have you been all this while? What you are now complaining about has been the Norm for more than 6 months already.
Actually, only 3 Banks (GTB, Zenith and UBA) still allow the use of their Naira Cards for Transactions of up to $20. It is Zero (0) Dollar for other Banks.

Getting a Virtual Card is not a good Solution, as most of them are unreliable (could be terminated by the Issuer at anytime) and usually above Parallel (Black) Market Rate.

If you intend to frequently shop on Aliexpress, I would suggest you open a Domiciliary Bank Account, and then apply for a Card on the Account.

Also, you may use our Service, as we help to order from Aliexpress, even as high as $1800 per Transaction. You can check one of my recent Posts (the one of Nov. 7, 2022) for details.

I was reading some Comments above me, and I was shaking my head. One of the Posters even put Huawei and Redmi (Xiaomi's Product) in the same sentence. Very funny!

Even in China (Xiaomi`s Home base), it (Xiaomi) was No. 4 behind Huawei, Oppo and Vivo; and currently No. 3 after Huawei divested from its Phone Business.

Huawei was already No. 1 (up till June, 2016) in the World in terms of Phones Annual Sales (ahead of Samsung and Apple) before President Donald Trump used US Tech. Export Control Measures to hobble Chinese Companies, especially Huawei and ZTE Corp.

90% of Xiaomi`s Income come from the export of its mass-market Products to developing Countries in Asia (especially India and Pakistan) and Middle East; Africa (especially Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana) and South America (especially Brazil and Argentina).

Xiaomi specializes in mass-market Products. It has never been a Producer of Premium-quality Phones, this Crown has always belonged to Apple, Samsung and Huawei.

Also, Huawei has always been the World Leader in 5G Products (currently 65+% Market Share).

The Honor Phone Brand is a legacy Brand of Huawei. It was and still a very good Brand.

By the way, we sell Phones (Shipped from Abroad) - both Brand New Ones and Clean Used Ones. You can view them on our Website.

Note 12 is different from Note 12 Pro.
You can only get a Redmi Note 12 (6GB+128GB) for $230, but currently impossible for Note 12 Pro - as the above Poster wrote.

The current cost of Note 12 Pro (6GB+128GB) is $265-$275.
It's 8GB+128GB ($290-$305), 8GB+256GB ($355-$370), and 12GB+256GB ($380-$395).

Lastly, there is also Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, which is quite different from this.

*** If you are interested in the Note 12, you may contact us, as we are a Seller of it.

Bamz:
Hello guys,

Please I need phone recommendations. My budget ceiling is 170k.

We have several Phones that fit or almost fit into your Budget, that is, based on the Current (Today's) USD-NGN Exchange Rate.
You can check out the Phones Catalogue on our Website to make your Choice.

However, I will list 3 of them for you here.
1.) Honor Play6T (5G)
8GB+128GB: $198
2.) Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE (5G)
8GB+128GB: $187
3.) Oppo A36
6GB+128GB: $187
Cheers!

OP, well said! There is indeed no Point in spending a thousand Dollars, let alone more than $300 on a Phone if all you need is something to use in your daily life or for Business. This is something that you could lose at anytime - to a Pickpocket, could mistakingly drop on the Ground, drop in Water, lose to a Thief, even could naturally start malfunctioning.

I prefer something that is relatively painless to replace if it is no longer useful or if I no longer have it. Anyway, what do I know? Everybody to his own!

Anyway, if anybody is looking for Phones in the range $140 - $270, do take some time to view the Phone Catalogue on our Website, and this includes the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Series, of which my own Favourite is Xiaomi Redmi Note 11E Pro (5G) whose Photo is pasted below.
Cheers!

You are expecting a Nigerian Business Person to be stocking up 联想拯救者 Y90 (5G)?
To stock up on an expensive Phone as Lenovo Legion Y90 (5G) in today's Nigeria's Economy? Lol!

As good as the Phone is, it is still a Chinese-branded Phone. Even Sellers of iPhones
are sweating terribly in this Economy. Phones are not Foods!
I am sorry to say it is a futile effort searching for it in Nigeria.

If you are interested, we can ship it for you from China.

Phones can be lost. They also can be stolen or get broken. So, you don't have to break the Bank to buy a good Phone, neither do you have to stretch your Finances too thin before you can get a good one.

Your 200-210K is good enough to get a good Phone.
However, no Phone is manufactured in Nigeria; and with the way the value of Naira is depreciating against the Dollar daily, the value of your 200-210K is also depreciating.

You can check our Website to view are Phones Catalogue. We have affordable and good Phones - Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, etc.

And if there's a particular one that you desire that is not in our Catalogue, we might be able to get it for you - for example, the newly released Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 (5G) which is currently not available in Nigeria.

Also, this is one of the best Periods to snatch a good Offer on Phones because the 11.11 (China's Nov. 11) Shopping Festival has already begun in earnest.
All the best Mate!

OP, that's a very good write-up.
Oppo is a very good brand, and not all are expensive.

There are still some relatively affordable Models of it. We too do sell Oppo Phones, and they can be viewed on our Website.

Sorry to see your predicament. I saw it almost immediately you posted it.

Sadly, we are mostly an importing Country. We export almost nothing except the Oil that the Almighty has put under our ground, so the availability of Export Logistics is close to zero.

Try UPS or FedEx. But if you are looking for something cheap as in Imports Logistics, that will be very difficult.
Good luck!
