Honestly, Tinubu is the best bet for APC now. Otherwise they are heading for a massive defeat. Tinubu has political structures in the north unlike all the other aspirants in APC and south is for him when all the featherweights are removed. He is also a political strategist who can outwit Atiku, none of the others have the political strength required to defeat Atiku. And he has equal war chest if not more than Atiku. Obviously, Prof Osinbajo will be a piece of cake for Atiku to be eaten raw. This is all obvious because the VP has no issue based campaign achievement to campaign his way in. No matter what he’s obviously part of Buhari government and their horrible governance of 8years. Beside he’s a pastor and not a Muslim, how’s he going to fly his ambition in the north? Coupled with the fact that he has no political clout, neither is he widely known amongst the political elites, especially in the north. I’m sure APC will not make the mistake of fielding him.

As with the rubber stamped Senate President Ahmed Lawan, although a northerner, he’s not even widely known. We haven’t seen him display any political strategy. Also a part of the government with the most horrible retrogression in the history of Nigeria. More so, Atiku is more popular than him in the South and he has no political structure whatsoever anywhere aside the area he’s representing in the chamber.
