The progress of the injury will determine the forward’s availability for the next match, according to the Club’s Medical Services. The blaugrana play again on Sunday against Real Betis in matchday 15 of La Liga.

The Argentine left the pitch on a stretcher in the 84th minute of Wednesday’s match against Benfica, after a collision with rival goalkeeper Artur. Messi had come on in the 58th minute, replacing Rafinha.
