PoliticsRe: Falana Threatens To Sue FG Over NNPC Appointments by honeric01(m): 10:11am On Dec 03, 2012
Gbawe: Man mi, sometimes, it makes one want to cry for Nigeria. Falana reveals the total arbitrariness and disregard for the law with which the Country is being run and some are distractingly only able to contribute silly comments while ignoring the very grave subject matter.

Ordinarily, Nigerians, if politically sophisticated, should be enraged by this adhoc and disdainful disregard for legal provisions. If the NNPC act stipulates that the number of board members for the parastatal should be 7 why has it now gone up to 9 with the appointment of Orasanye and Otti?

Are we just a daft people or is the wider implication not obvious? I.e the thought that this same lawlessness is routine in every aspect and area of the administration of Nigeria under this government?
I believe the bolded is the case here, i now believe why Nigeria is like this is because of the way majority reason, there's nothing like civility and exposure in Nigeria, those educated are nothing but paper literates and not what we take them to be.

Normally, every educated (formal school) persons in this country are suppose to have basic knowledge of our constitution and laws, but how many graduates in Nigeria can name 36 states in Nigeria with their capitals without having to cheat? how many even know which governor is for which state not to talk of knowing how many number of people are suppose to be on the board of NNPC? we have illiterates roaming about Nigeria with various worthless certificates.

A country is suppose to be judged by how politically sound her citizens are and how economically savvy they are and not by how many useless and worthless certificates they have acquired.

Lastly, what then is the essence of all the certificates if majority of Nigerians that went to school can't even question their government when it comes to the rule of law and respect for the constitution? embarassed embarassed embarassed sad

Maxymilliano: Well, if you must know, I registered on NL officially in January, you may have been on NL since the days of Metuselah but if this is the type of watery contributions you've been bringing to the table all the while, I really need to feel sorry for the audience you've been entertaining with your ignorance.

You don't just sit down and assess situations and challenges from one viewpoint, but this is the problem with folks like you who just believe that real sense of leadership starts and end with reading just motivational books without taking the reality and environmental factor into cognizance.
Abeg leave stories, we have passed the stage of stories during the era of "beaf"

You said you know what we don't know, so kindly tell us what the "govt" is doing about their self-inflicted boko haram. at least you should tell us what the rest of us don't know just as you said from the start, we're waiting since it seems you have access to what the public don't have access to.
PoliticsRe: What Happened To Kabiru Sokoto? by honeric01(m): 10:34pm On Dec 02, 2012
Maxymilliano: Pueelze bro, contemporary politics as it relates to present happenings in Nigeria is not your forte here, you seem to be good in the romance, dating and meeting-up section. I know this for certain.

Let's just leave it at that.
i dey laugh, you must be new here, i dey laugh again. Pls tell us what we do not know about sokoto and the paper in-house 'fight' against boko.

They can deceive so many youth/nigerians with mere words but they can't deceive everyone.

Just stick to your opinion, at least you're entitled to it.
you better not go that lane with me lol, what i don't know you know abi mr big fry?
PoliticsRe: What Happened To Kabiru Sokoto? by honeric01(m): 10:02pm On Dec 02, 2012
Maxymilliano: For people in the know, Kabiru Sokoto is doing fine in the custody of the SSS. He has not been arraigned as many expected for strategic reasons, it is not easy to come by such big fish in the hierachy, boko haram is just like our everyday transport union where we see different factions coming out everyday to lay claims to parks and bus stops once there's a sort of dissatisfaction.

The issue of boko haram transcend what many of us thought it to be and that's why the government is pus.s.yfooting to ensure the menace is tackled from the root and not the usual window dressing.

Boko haram will fizzle out in due course. In any part of the world, tackling terrorism has never been a walk in the park, concerted efforts is. Seriously geared to ensure peace and stability in the polity.

It is easy for us to sit down in the comfort of our rooms and criticize what we have no idea about, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. GEJ is really trying in this aspect despite the fact that the primary intentions of those power mongers was to make him look clueless by destabilizing the polity and arm-twisting the government into taking rash decisions like a military invasion.

The bottomline is that the 'envisaged Odi treatment' adopted by OBJ is out of fashion and unconventional. The primary aim was to leverage on the public sympathy that may arose therefrom but unfortunately, GEJ is not playing as expected.

The import of the perceived sentiment in the event of an invasion will be to use same as a negotiating tool to gain access to the levers of government.

The truth will sure be made manifest someday and to every everyone who conspires to make the country looks ungovernable, the blood of the dead is on you and your day of reckoning is nigh.
grammar, boko haram'll fizzle out by june, it's now december o. Story teller.

BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts - Season 11 by honeric01(m): 8:50pm On Dec 02, 2012
Another thing, if you really want to last in this market, try not to expect much if your capital is just few bucks, trading with a smaller account balance exposes you to alot of risks, to avoid HBP, save something tangible before venturing into forex.

If you do not have a trading journal, then you're obviously not ready to last long in this business.

There should be a daily target no matter what you think of the market, overtrading comes to play when you lack principle and targets.

Lastly on this, do not rely on what you read on this thread 100% especially if your trades depends on what you see here unless you're ready to cry me a river.

Always learn to take out time on your own to sharpen your trading skills by reading and practising. 2013 for trading's going to be bloody and the signs are going to start showing this december. Expect some crazy moves and also expect brokers closing down all of a sudden running away with some people's money.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts - Season 11 by honeric01(m): 1:42pm On Dec 02, 2012
Piponomics: While I respect your opinion atimes? I will vehemently disagree with you on this. What you just posted here sounds like what traders who have struggled to make any headway in this markets do. Instead of looking at themselves to see where they are going wrong, they will keep going on with one conspiracy theory or the other. If you are a good trader, you are a good trader nothing will change it.
If you think brokers will come to Nairaland to view account balance then I'm afraid you've lost it. Why will they do that? I mean they see everyones account balance anytime they want.
Now, if you are using a bucket shop broker then that is your business but don't go telling people such bullcrap of a story. So you want to tell us that all succesful traders are being witchhunted by brokers? LOL.
Having said all this, it doesn't make sense showing account balance. I never do it. Reason being that I see it as boasting and also, no one should doubt the efficacy of Nigerian scammers. Hacking of account is a more plausible reason and not some rubbish conspiracy theory.
Bottom line, be a good trader and you won't worry about all this crap.
Like i said, it's my findings, you can keep attacking me indirectly but who cares?
FYI, some of the findings came from an EX staff of a broker.

Here's another:

every smart trader should learn how not to struggle with the sharks, don't try to eat what the sharks eat so as not to become another food on their menu list, just wait for them to finish eating, then pick from the "crumbs" and you'll be filled.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts - Season 11 by honeric01(m): 12:11pm On Dec 02, 2012
I advise everyone to stop advertising or posting your account balance, your brokers are watching you and they will soon (if they haven't) place you on their A or B books soon.

A: for customers who wins
B: for those who will always crash their account

The A are mostly the ones the brokers watch, attack and play pranks on while the B are just what they use in gathering more money to pay some of the overly smart A

The B's orders are never sent to the market because they know they will always lose their accounts at the end while some of the A are mostly attacked (their orders: freezing platform, late order execution, funny changes to their orders and spread and sometimes they close their accounts on silly excuses)

More findings coming your way.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan And The $31bn Question - El Rufai by honeric01(m): 10:44am On Dec 02, 2012
Cunninlingus: El Rufai did not mention a single word when Yaradua was alive and it was an open secret that he was tirelessly and shamelessly trying to get to see Yaradua so that he can be reinstated. Yradua by the way was by far the most corrupt government till date.
Prove to us that Yaradua ran a more corrupt govt than GEJ with facts and figures. we are not in a beer parlor so discuss with facts.

Mogidi: El Rufai is always quick to admonish GEJ's govt, I wish he had directed some of those venom to his brothers when they ruled the land. Whilst still left with venom he can as well reserve some for those bombing and rendering the Northern masses to paupers.

Dear El Rufai
Can you please tell us what happened to $250 million spent during your tenure as minister?
Unless someone else's see for you, go to ABJ, El Rufai's projects are still there for all with eyes to see.
