Fulanis were displaced to cross river state. Do you know how many Tiv were displaced to Markurdi, Gboko in Benue; Lafia in Nassarawa ; Ibi and Wukari in Taraba. I have been reading DAILY TRUST and LEADERSHIP newspapers (both northern paper) and i have not seen them report more of "fulani Muslim" murders than the biased"southern press have.

Truth be told the Jos people used to be very hospitable people (as evidenced by the horde of people from different parts of the world that have made Jos their permanent abode including yours sincerely) until the Hausa Fulani wanted to politically dominate as they have done elsewhere. That started with the Hausa Fulani starting a fight in 2001/02 in which the natives suffered losses. The pandora box was open and the genie refused to go back.

The fulani should respect themselves. they fought the tivs, jukun, birom, vere, edo, nupe, kona etc in about 6 states in the last 10years. The berroms have not be known to fight their neighbours in the last 100 years until the fulanis came strolling in

The tendency for the Hausa Fulani to scream "'Muslims" are under attack' has successfully polarize a purely tribal war into a religious one and people are swayed based on their religious inclination. this is the sad part of it all. Some of the people the fulanis have murdered in these state are MUSLIMS too!!!

HNosegbe: I agree with honeric in that we need a traditional, gangly striker to add a new dimension to our attacking play and give us more options. If a team like Chelsea can "park the bus" and block our traditional tiki-taka play, then maybe using the wings could be a viable plan B. I think Llorente will do just nicely.

A new central defender is also sorely needed. I have always admired Thiago Silva, I think he has shown consistency, and he's quite reliable. Add a back-up right-back, left-back and defensive midfielder, and we should have a more robust squad for next season.
