The inners road off JImoh Street is not tarred, the major street cant remember the name(1st turning on JImoh is almost destroyed), the 2nd Turning was just fixed and that was recently after then the road that leads to Go ye is almost destroyed unless they have fixed it. After Jimoh bus top to sobo are a mess... ( the inner roads) , I dont know what these areas did to the local government authorities.

My folks stay off ogunbiyi street, they are not yet bitter jare. in 2011 as a broke ass returned graduate we all decided to vote for a change of government but the youths collected cash and refused to vote. APC guys came a day before and promised to fix ogunbiyi, four years after the road is still the same.

That road belongs to the local govt, so my advice is for you not to vote in the current chairman.. if possible his party at the local level.

Any unperforming civil servant (politician) must be voted out at all levels.

@ topefisayo is that Ogunbiyi Street only JImoh is Tarred all the way done even my Folk's street is not tarred at all we had to pour Red Sand on it recently.

Victoria street is tarred, the road opposite Victoria street was also tarred but has damaged to some length. its a lie that the streets around jimoh bustop is not tarred..

Funny enough, it doesn't take 20 mins for all the water to clear up after the rain.. this shows that the drainage system was actually built to fight flood bar blockages.

Robot, I once lived in that area around 2008, let me tell you that there is a huge canal built at the back of Victoria street at jimoh bustop, but foolish and greedy lagosians built houses round the canal and this ended up blocking the flow of water.. the government wanted to come demolish but was sued.. so how do you help those who have refused to be helped?

Secondly, these people end up blocking their gutters with dirt's (plastic bottles e.t.c), anytime it rains, thats when they start doing cleanup from their various homes.

I moved out of there when flood spoilt my properties 2 times in a roll. (was away).
