General Buhari’s first wife was the late Hajiya Safinatu (nee Yusuf) Buhari. He courted her when she was fourteen and married her at the age of eighteen. A very shy and conservative Muslim woman, she was not too visible on the social radar. They married in 1971 and the marriage was blessed with four children, all girls (Zulaiha Magajiya (the first daughter, and she was named after Buhari’s mother) Fatima, Hadizatu Nana, and Safinatu Lami). Buhari was so focused on salvaging Nigeria that he preferred to remain single throughout the Nigerian Civil War (1967-1970) and it was not until the war ended that he got married to his sweetheart, Safinatu. Although he was so passionate about his job that he was said to have being ‘married to the Army’, he always called his wife on the phone on a regular basis. As the First Lady of Nigeria, Hajiya Safinatu was not in the spotlight. Actually, she avoided the limelight for religious and cultural reasons, and coupled with the fact that her husband led a life free of ostentation, Nigerians do not know much about her. After Buhari was released from jail, he divorced Safinatu for reportedly receiving financial assistance from IBB while he was in prison. Later in December 1989, he got married to Hajiya Aisha Halilu, a Fulani lady from Adamawa State.http://www..com/muhammadu-buhari-nigerias-strictest-leader/8/http://www..com/muhammadu-buhari-nigerias-strictest-leader/9/ |

brownlord: I ignored your first post but just need to understand the reason for your balderdash.
Banicansta did a perfect job though.
What do you understand by the bold part you keep mentioning? If i understand what money laundering is, the man fela did not commit a crime, if he is going with 45 people as confirmed in your post, dividing that amount found on him among those people or are you saying those people should not be taken care of? If he divided HIS 1600 pounds into 45 and then handed them over to 45 people so as to beat the system, it's still money laundering according to the laws then. remember we are talking "if" here.. You know how people launder money nowadays by using other people's account to launder? same can be attributed to this.. in this current era, people launder money by breaking down the bulk money and then sending them out through multiple bank accounts in different people's name. You still want more? Just go to the bank to read what is in every bank's wall about money laundering. |
Politics › Re: Why Did Buhari Sentence Fela Kuti To 10 Years In Prison? by honeric01(m): 8:06pm On Nov 10, 2014 |
taking 45 people along and sharing 1600 into 45 just to beat the system is nothing but money laundering when in actual sense, only one person owned the 1600 pounds. (Though he made the money the legal way).
Before any more statement, we must know what money laundering means.
So before you quote me, be ready to define the term "money laundering " |

Oh dear Lord, Barcanista sent this thread to its early grave with a very opened and unbiased response, if not, the usual never-do-well would have derailed this thread with the usual Buhari is this and that.
Buhari obeyed the law and shunned emotion even though it was a bit extreme..
This is the kind of a leader we want, at least in this dispensation, The court of appeal and supreme Court would be the only saving grace for those who break any law. |

Has FIFA announced that club world cup ticket is not for sale to liberians? 2. Ebola is in Madrid, is their no probability of a Real Madrid CF fan to have had contact with the ebola victim knowing the fact that the first Ebola victim is a catholic priest. Do you know how many church member he would have shake, touch, hug, or kiss their foreheads? 3. Aren't people coming from all over Africa to watch stars like Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Casillas, Ramos e.t.c.? 4. Has any CWC hold without a large number of crowd coming from the hosting continent? 5. Hasn't CAF being complying with WHO's directives? I am just trying to help him expose his mental intelligence to the world to see.. in his small mind, he believes he's making sense lol |

mikeson12: lol,I used Liberia cos thats an example of a country that has been ravaged by ebola, all sporting activities has been stopped there cos 1 in every 100 Liberians has ebola. The reverse is the case for spain, sporting activities and gatherings still take place there cos the ebola has already bn contained.Pple frm Liberia,Guinea and seirra Leone can't actually travel to Morroco 4 the club world cup since none of their clubsides is taking part in it. Now you are sounding like a broken record.. Is Morocco going to stop random people from coming to watch the fifa club world cup or you think only fans from participating countries are to visit? |

Comprehension! How is Morroco going to stop ebola infested patients from coming to watch the club world cup? |

emperorchedda: You said it all. Even George Weah supported Morocco on this one. The tournament should be postponed to 2016 when the outbreak ought to be over or atleast minimal. Africa has the largest infected people so we should be more careful about hosting an all African event that a World event just because Spain has a FEW case of ebola Because George Weah supported it makes the decision automatically right? i am not against them rejecting to host, i am against contradiction, if you dont want to host a tournament that is likely to bring in crowd, why host the club world cup? |
Sports › Re: Morocco Opt Out Of Hosting 2015 afcon by honeric01(mod): 4:35pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
yoji: So you are now comparing Morocco a third world country to Spain a western European country, are u for real? You should note that Morocco was not forced to host afcon, as they bidded for it and won it so their concerns have to be taken seriously. Even south Africa that CAF was confident would replace Morocco on short notice has ruled itself out. The thing is Africans inter travel and when you have all that amount of people descending on your country, you need to be scared. Firstly, an ebola infested country doesn't have to qualify for citizens of that country to come and secondly, a senegalese who got infected while in guinea can bring it. It's complicated. The truth it's only logical to assume the risk of is higher from hosting a tournament exclusively for Africans. And because Spain is a western European country, this automatically stops ebola patients from coming to watch club world cup? And can you say only people from the countries playing at the club world cup are likely to visit Morocco for the tourney? |
Sports › Re: Morocco Opt Out Of Hosting 2015 afcon by honeric01(mod): 4:27pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
mikeson12: Lol,Morrocco doesn't have the rigt to ban spectators from coming to watch the match, its a CAF event so only CAF can do it.
Lol,I don't know what you want to acheive by those records you just posted,if there is someone that needs the record of ebola outbreak its definitely you cos you'v been confused from the very beginning. I am wasting my time, posted the record to show you countries battling with ebola, yet football matches still go on in their countries.. Since Morocco can't ban the kind of fans coming into the country, then Ebola can still get into the country when they host the Club world cup. Cant you see you are contradicting yourself? can't people from ebola infested countries come to morocco to watch the club world cup? I decided to stop wasting my time with you not until this last post. |

mikeson12: Spain has only 3 cases of Ebola right now,so it isn't a problem to them whereas countries like seirra Leone,Guinea and Liberia are filled with Ebola patients,so what are you saying? These 3 countries might qualify even if they don't qualify, their citizens will like to watch the AFCON life.Morroco did the right thing beacuse it won't be easy to check the temperature of all the fans! And what stops Morroco from stopping these people from the affected countries from entering Morroco? are they not stopping people already? what is going to be different? Here are the list of Ebola case: Country Cases Death Date Liberia 6,619 2,766 4 November 2014 Sierra Sierra 4,862 1,130 4 November 2014 Guinea 1,760 1,054 3 November 2014 Nigeria 20 8 outbreak ended 20 October 2014 United United 4 1 4 November 2014 Mali 1 1 4 November 2014 Senegal 1 0 outbreak ended 17 October 2014 Spain 1 0 4 November 2014 Total 13,268 4,960 as of 4 November 2014 |

mikeson12: Spain has already contained Ebola.Liberia.Guinea and Seirra Leone might qualify for the AFCON,don't rule them out.
For your information,Ebola is currently ravaging Guinea while Mali has 3 cases of Ebola at Kaye.
Next time do a proper research before quoting me,take care! I am sorry but you are joking.. which Spain contained Ebola? has the doctors recovered? any country with a recorded case and still in quarantine shouldn't be declared safe.. Even US are still in quarantine stage , yet soccer and basketball are being played weekly. Same with Spain, if these countries haven't stopped sporting activities, why should Mali be different? You have little knowledge on what you are talking about. Apart from Seria Leone and Guinea (likely to qualify) who won't even qualify, Mali has minimal case of Ebola and are also in the quarantine process. only 2 countries are expected to qualify from each group with one best lower, so far so good, All of the countries in top position to qualify are not in the ebola red zone. |
