Good evening nairalanders, pls i need advise, my counsin sister who is just 22 is demanding to live alone (she wants to move out of her father's house), but her parents disagreed with her decision.

To many issues have risen about today's love and that of our forefathers. Some say it's better then than now, other felt otherwise; well I believe it depends on the individuals concern.
One of the major reasons why people fall in and out of love have to do with some or all of the these :

Money
Infidelity
Education
Domestic violence
Family stans etc

Money: This root of all evil as the Bible describe it is also the most important necessity of life. Weather you like it or not money can perform magic in almost every aspect of our existence. But this same money many believe cannot buy life, happiness, a good sleep etc.

Many Nigerian ladies can do anything for money same goes to men. Now the fact that in our present society favors the men more than the women, the men are the major players in getting money while the women are in the spending side. Because of this and other factors that limit women into some working condition or environment. Many men use this money tool to get away with almost any woman they see. This has led to many sexual immorality, unwanted pregnancy unwanted marriages etc.

Infidelity: This is a state where married corples break there vows by engaging in sexual relationship with someone else while still in marriage. This can be as a result of thier partner not certifying them in bed which could be due to the size of dic, 1 minute man or they are just tired of having sex with the same person over and over.

Many married corples do not know how to spice of their relationship. They just believe that after marriage they go to work, get back and have sex with their partner and have kids.. You will hardly see n Nigerian man they will marry his wife and wait for a year or 2 before they start having kids. This also affect their relationship with each other, I believe its a good thing for corples to have kids but it important for them to bond very well sexually and also know how to live with each other before any third party comes in(kid).. But it not like that, many even get pregnant before marriage which has become a norm in our country today.

Education: illiteracy they say is a disease, but I have seen too illiterate get married and are doing fine. I have also heard of a psychologist, a PhD holder get married 3times.

Many educated people believe that they can't marry an illiterate, they feel that they cannot connect well. It's true but education has nothing to do with marriage. As a matter of fact the first institution that God created is marriage so if u feel that your education equips your qualifications into marriage you are wrong.
Education play its row because without education many will not be able to get a better life in other to take care of their needs. But I believe anyone with a good handwork is qualified for life challenges (marriage)

Domestic violence: This is one big issue in marriage that has left many homes shattered till date. It is the responsibility of a man to control his home, but what if the man is irresponsible to carry out such task. Their will always be misunderstanding many times and it is the responsibility of the man to put his house on other. Women are know to be troublesome atimes, but a man must try to avoid that whenever it happens. Many men don't take responsibility of their home which is very bad.

Nigeria mentality: money for hand back for ground, marry a man that can take care of you, soup when sweet money kill am..

Don't allow poverty to blind your thoughts.. It is not the responsibility of a wife to wash the husband's clothes, to cook, to clean the house. If u need a cook go and hire or marry a shef, if u want to wash go and hire or marry a laundry or cleaner person. You marry a wife not a house girl or cook or laundry person..if for any reason your wife is helping your with the above. It should be payed for separately.

Marriage is between 2 people and none of them should be slave to the other. Also women your husband should not be providing everything you need. If you can not provide stay in your father's house you are not due for marriage
Every girl child must learn or be thought how to be independent in every aspect of her life.

To achieve this every parent must put hands on deck.

Sorry about that... I believe cheating is a 2 way thing and from my research.. Single ladies cheat more when dating and in marriage men cheat more.

So I don't link a particular gender to cheating.. Since I left school and came back 2 the area where I grew up from. Now most of my friends especially the female ones re all married. Like 70% of them re cheating on their husband due 2 our closeness they do discuss it with me. So cheating has nothing 2 do with gender..
