[She did not intend to lie, she was guided during her application and the person helping her never mentioned this to her. Also the new husband is not planning to relocate to Canada because he is very comfortable in Nigeria, he has a very good job and wife back in Nigeria. author=XX01 post=65454581]

She should go with her lawyer and tell them why she lied. She had ample opportunity to update her info but she never did so.
sadURGENT RESPONSE NEEDED!!!
My family friend, who is a widow with two children, she lost her husband 6 years ago, she remarried before landing in Canada (she went to registry just a week before she landed), but she didn't update her information online that she has remarried. So when she landed, they asked her if she remarried and she said yes and brought out the wedding certificate. They seized her documents from her and asked her to come back today..it was there they told her it was misrepresentation and why didn't she update her status, and so they asked her to go back to Nigeria or bring her lawyer by tommorrow...please what can she do?
Goodmorning houseee, pls I want to find out if passport submission to Accra to passport return to individuals can be up to two months?. I called Accra VO and they claimed that they are still working on it. From the little that I know, I learnt the whole process should not be more than a month. Confused

Congrats. Used to be at most two weeks but lately, Accra has been taking as long as 4 weeks. Heard they still send to Ottawa for stamping before sending back to the applicant. Let's hope things will quickly get better with Accra

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by honeybeetom: 6:06pm On Jul 16, 2017
I think u should defer ur admissions till next yr n wait till u become a PR by applying through EE, its easier to get admissions abroad than Nigerian good job search..my opinion
MrOba:
Hi,

I think you should consider deferring the admission till next year if that is a possibility.

Then you can start processing the express entry now. You can always do your Masters once you are in Canada as a PR.

Hello everyone, I just joined this group two weeks ago and I just wish I had joined earlier. I got PPR last week and am the principal applicant with one dependant (my husband). In the PPR, we were asked to send our passports within 15 days to Ghana for the visa. However, husband's passport is not available, his passport is in another embassy for visa due to work-related things and so he won't be able to withdraw his passport till July ending when it will be given back to him. Kindly advise on what to do as the 15 days deadline is so close by. Thank you.
