This is my first time of posting mail in this site. I must commend everyone for their contributions. I see no reason why this country will not change for good. I can read how Nigerians are assisting their fellow brothers/sisters to ensure they pass their DV Lottery Interview. Kudos to those guys that are taking their time to render assistance to thousand of their fellow Nigerians. I can assure you, everyone right here will not reward you but our heavenly Father will surely do. Keep serving and obeying Him....Job 36:11 and Deuteronomy 28:1-13. If you obey Him there is no way He will not bless you and prosper your way.

However, I want to say a big congratulation to everyone that have passed their interview and actually got their US Entry visas. Also to sincerely congratulation those that were selected including my wife, out of millions of entries, for the DV Lottery Interview between October 1st 2012 - September 30th 2013. We, all selectees, are not the best applicants. Millions of people that applied are better than us. It is God's doing and it is marvellous in our sight. I wish you all God favour, mercy and grace to overshadow us on the day of interview. Just believe in God and put your faith in Him. I heard some people saying, it only took the consular just 15minutes and they congratulate him and so on and so forth. Many are not Graduates neither have enough educational background but are artisans - Tailor, Auto-Engineer, Hairdresser, Baker, Truck Driver etc and still they all won. It is GOD that makes it so. We have been selected, therefore, in His infinity mercy, favour and grace, we will be congratulated and rejoice with everyone and sing praises to the LORD.

The applicant and all members of the family must appear at the appointed date and time for your interview. Please notify the office listed if you cannot keep the appointment.

If you fail to obtain a DV-2013 visa by September 30, 2013, your registration will expire. Applicant and family members cannot be issued a diversity visa or accompany you or join you in the United States under DV-2013 program after September 30, 2013.

Just got my 2nl guys. Praise God. My interview is in february.

I was call at window 8, there i met a local person who request my documents and finger print for both wife and myself.I was then ask to be seated until i was call again. i was call again to window 9 now where i met another local who give me paying slip to pay the cahier. The charge was US330 + US$230= 560. I had only walk with 330 each for me and my wife. I enquire why the additinal 230, i was told it is for processing fee. The woman give me 30min to get additinal money. After i receive the money i join the cashier line to pay. After making payment i was again told to sit an wait for name to call. Finally my name was call. i was interview my a woman.

CO:good morning u r the luck guy and she smile.

Me: Yes i am.She then turn to my wife, telling her she like to ask some question.

Co:How long have u live in the country of ur birth

Wife: Bleep Time

CO: Where do u live

Wife: I live with my husband at Bleep

CO: Where do u work.

Wife: I work at xxxx, She then turn to me now.

Co: Did u finish high school.

Me: Yes i did. i have my transcript , would u like to c it

CO: nO ITS OK AND SMILE AGAIN.

CO: Do u have any relative in the US

ME: Yes i do , i have my immediate family over there.

CO: Have they file a petition for u

Me: No THEY HAVE NOT

CO: where do u plan to live when u get over there

It is inportant to be confident and please do not lie about anything.

Dis lottery is a test of ur patience. First you apply and wait anxiously for may to see if uve won.if u don't win u wait anxiously for the nxt lottery to start so u can play. If you win, you wait anxiously for visa bulletin to make you current. After that you start waiting again for 2nd nl, then you wait again for interview. Even after a successful interview you still wait anxiously to pick up ur visa. Den u wait till u finally land in usa, wait for gc and ssn ...... Patience is key. God is with us. We will all smile at the end of the day in Jesus Name. Amen

From what I know visa fee is still 330usd. D 165usd that has jus bn discovered is for processing your green card when you get to usa and that's effective from 1st february.

peters ife: Temmy, the couple that were denied visa last week culd nt tell the house the questions asked by d co, so dat other couples wuld learn frm their mistake.

Its bold enuf to tell the house they were denied. Its not that easy to come here and start breaking down or answering questions on their interview. Let's try to understand them.we can still learn from the people who got their visas. #mypointofview

Tinubaby, just relax! The first step to failure is if you get yourself tensed up. From the story you have shared, I will advice you to go and defend your educational qualification. Be bold, confident, courteous, and always smiling and looking the CO into the eye. Above all, pray for favour and success! The entire house will put you in prayers and by His grace, the visa is urs! If the C.O. twists the question and decides to ask you on work experience, and you know very well that you cannot defend it, gently and kindly tell the councillor that you qualify based on educational qualification and would appreciate if your question are education based. Please, say it with confidence and a smile. I pray it doesn't get to that anyway. Once more, Pray for favour!

Fvour is the key word. Two people may have d same qualification but God's favour can make one outstanding. it is well and we will share your success sstory here

11000 for february means 11000 and below. your Cn is 10+ so that means you are below 11000 and also means you are current and your interview should fall in february. You should recev ur 2nl about 6 or 8 weeks before your interview.

I'm thinkin its either dere are a lotta winners frm naij that they are unable to exhaust the list fast enough or d winners are so few they wanna spread out the dates.I believe everyone will be interviewed at d end of it all. Tho its frustrating, just be patient. God has a reason for it all and every1 will smile at d end of it in Jesus name

kinzzo112: Yestarday was our interview, God favoured my wife and I. Our appointment time was 7am, by 5.30am, we were already at the Gate, waiting. Before 6.30am it fill up to its capacity. Exactly 6.30am we were called to line up(immigrant and non-immigrant). we went through all the normal security checks. We Got there pick our tag number(B......) we sat for few minutes, our names were called for documents submission. we went to window 17, a black lady there told us to go ahead and make payment before she could collect those documents. we made the payment(660 dols). And we went back to her again. that was were God started His work! after the documents were submitted(including our marriage certificate) she told us to bring our passport photographs, after looking at my wife's own, said she is not comfortable with what she used in hair, that if we had any other passport with us, which we said no, that passport was rejected, look at how the woman was looking everywhere for us search for another replacement, at last she has to remove the ones KCC sent to the embassy and used it for us. we were asked to sit that our number will called again. Mind you before we left home, we had prayed for us to be interviewed by the black lady at window 13 cos we have read about the way she favoured people. our eyes was in her window, we saw her approving two visas to different people, So here God did another Wonder! when she was done, she called another number B...., she waited for several minutes for this person to come up for interview, the particular person never showed up, she had to drop the forms and details, she went to pick another form, behold, it was our number she called, we smiled to each we stood-up to meet her. The interview was just within 10 minutes, no long thing!
took our finger print, take the oath and it went this way:
CO: You were the winner:
mywife: yes
CO:How low long have you been playing DV?
CO: Who played it for you
CO: How long have you been married?
CO:what do you do?
mywife: i teach and also a student
CO: how do cope with both:
mywife: am partime student, i only go to school weekends
CO: OOK, I C.
CO: which of the marriage you people did
mywife: court registry and it was celebrated in the church
CO: you have any pictures from the wedding:
mywife: gave her all the pictures( during the bride prize payment, the ones during dating, and the wedding)
I noticed she was looking for some particular pictures, immediately she saw them, she stopped and gave us back all the pictures, i noticed her typing into her system.
The only question i was asked:
CO: What do you do?
me: A network engineer.
CO: ok, you also work and go to school?
me: yes
she typed again
CO: congratulations yous visa has been approved!
she brought out a paper, circle an address told us to collect visas in a later date.

My people na so i see am reach!

GLORY BE TO OUR GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND MERCIES ENDURES FOREVER. AMEN. Good afternoon house. I've been reading this thread for some time and i must say it has really helped my wife and I a lot. My wife and I just had a successful interview at the US embassy in Ghana and will like to share my experience with the house.

We got to the embassy around 7am went through the security checks and went straight to the visa section. There were a lot of would be immigrant waiting to be called for interview. After an hour we called to pay the visa fee and were asked to sit and wait again. My guys we sat there for almost 2 hours before we were called again to present our documents.
Please house I advice u present only the required documents. And for couples don't forget your foto albums.

We waited for another hour and we were finally called to windows 8.

CO : Good morning
ME : Good morning Sir (remember to smile well well)
CO : Put your right index finger on some machine and asked my wife to do same.
CO : Do u sear to tell the truth so help u God ?
ME : Yes I do.
CO : Do you have any relatives in America ?
ME : No but my wife's aunty is there
CO : When did u meet your wife ?
ME : 1st October 2009.
At this point the CO stepped aside and started arranging our documents followed by endless typing.
He then stretched his hands and gave us the blue visa collection and told us to come back on Friday morning for our visas. I then asked if i can come alone to collect the visas.

Guys that was it just 2 questions. This miracle is just too much for me. BABA GOD DO AM AGAIN OOOOOOOOOO. HELP ME TO SAY THANK U TO JEHOVAH GOD FOR ALL THAT YOU'VE THAN FOR MY WIFE AND I.

TO THOSE YET TO GO FOR THEIR INTERVIEW REMEMBER TO PRAY BEFORE U GO. AND ITS WELL. SEE U IN AMERICA SOON.
