babbs45: For all those waiting to be interview, I pray you all are granted the visas in IJN. There are so many good opportunities over here, all the good things in life that you can think of BUT then again it can be very very stressful and sometimes depressing. This forum serve as a kinda therapy for me. Reading temmytanny and gentiger go at it put some smile on my face especially when am down. No disrespect to people trying to squash this. I'll be posting my lil bro's interview experience as soon as it is over. You all keep up the good work.wish your bro all the best. cant wait to read the good news in detail. |
temmytanny: OK , tanx bro. I will abide. Thanks temmy but im a "she". una wan turn all d women here to men today o. lol |
Its high time you guys put an end to all dese insults abeg. We are here for one common goal and if anyone has personal issues, i suggest you book a date and venue to fight. Icame back here thinkn i would get 2 more pages of useful information not insults. Lets just respect ourselves. At least i know u need a high school cert to go through wiv the lottery thingy so that simply means no one here is a child. If you are not sure of anythn, dont bother giving feedback or if you have to kindly let the rest of us know you are not 100% percent sure. Also if you feel anyone has given out wrong information, respectfully state it. i dont think thats too difficult abi. Nobody knows everything. we need everyone to make contributions and for people like me i need to learn from the experienced people. God help us achieve all out goals and dreams. I no fit shout |

femsoj: am a nigerian,as for my own AOS,the only document the person attached with it was the photocopy of his american passport.but the information in the AOS include his working place, his annual earnings, the amount of tax he pays, his dependant, etcThanks Femsoj. God bless |
Gentiger: That's the spirit......just in case. Anyway, the form in question is not meant for you to fill. A US citizen or a Legal permanent resident can fill that form for you if they so wish. If you got relatives in the US who meet the above status, then try speaking with them on the possibility. It's really not a big deal as we are made to believe. Goodluck! Thanks a lot Gentiger. Yea i have someone that can fill that. i actually spoke to her and she asked me to confirm if il need it. Would she need to attach any statements or anyfn like dat and does she send the form to me to take to the embassy or send the form directly to the embassy herself |
Hi everyone. im from ghana and i have sent a mail to the embassy here to confirm if ghanaians will need the affidavit of support. I have not receved and reply yet. In the meantime i think i would want to start working on one just in case. Now i need to know if its just the form 1-134 i need to fill or if theres another one to be attached to it and i would also like to know if the person is supposed to send that directly to the embassy. If theres any ghanaian in here that has also mailed the embassy and recevd fdbk, pls share. im seriously praying that it wont be needed just like in the case of my naija people. |
Hov63: @adzovia since u have ur interview date i thnk u can mail gh embassy to confirm da AOS trouble 4 we ghanaians cos i hav asked atleast 4 dv2012 winners in US nw nd they all said its not required. Im gettin confused.tnxYh adzovia pls do dat and I wish u all d best in ur interview. Can't wait to hear ur success story dear |
temmytanny: why not mail US embassy in Ghana and ask?No affidavit of support apply to naija applicants, i dont know about other countriesWill do dat temmy. Uve bn of tremendous help. Ave read a lot of ur previous posts. God bless you |
adzovia: i guess this forum is not only for Nigerians but other nationals as well. if there is an issue concerning one country for example the affidavit of support i think is fair to say "i am from this country and is not needed" cause other ppl from other countries might need it and go there unprepared that is why i am of the view that is better to be prepared than sorry. and please let tempers cool down. i believe things tend to get heated upUre ryt adzovia. I'm frm ghana n kip gettn confused too |
Ibracadabra: You'd have to go yourself for the police report. Nobody should get it done for you as you'll have to b fingerprinted among other things...ure awesome |
Amedino1: .thanks. really grateful. can i ask sm1 to get it or do i hav to go myself? |
honeydee: Hi everyone. im new in here. i must say you guys are awesome. God richly bless you for the good work. Theres no doubt that Nigerians do not require an affidavit of support but i would appreciate it if someone could clarify if Ghanaians need it because i keep getting different responses and its really getting confusing.still waiting for an answer pls guys. abeg |
Don Kool: Had my interview today.Congrats. May the rest of us have success stories to share by God's grace. Amen |
Hi everyone. im new in here. i must say you guys are awesome. God richly bless you for the good work. Theres no doubt that Nigerians do not require an affidavit of support but i would appreciate it if someone could clarify if Ghanaians need it because i keep getting different responses and its really getting confusing. Secondly my school results have my names written in a certain order while my passport and kcc forms have my middle name as my first name. would this be an issue? Lastly i lived in Nigeria for some years and i would require a police report from Nigeria. Can i ask someone to get that for me or do i have to go there personally? Where exactly in Lagos is it done and how long does it take? |
