My wife and I just had a successful interview at the US embassy in Ghana and will like to share my experience with the house.

We got to the embassy around 7am went through the security checks and went straight to the visa section. There were a lot of would be immigrant waiting to be called for interview. After an hour we called to pay the visa fee and were asked to sit and wait again. My guys we sat there for almost 2 hours before we were called again to present our documents.
Please house I advice u present only the required documents. And for couples don't forget your foto albums.

We waited for another hour and we were finally called to windows 8.

CO : Good morning
ME : Good morning Sir (remember to smile well well)
CO : Put your right index finger on some machine and asked my wife to do same.
CO : Do u sear to tell the truth so help u God ?
ME : Yes I do.
CO : Do you have any relatives in America ?
ME : No but my wife's aunty is there
CO : When did u meet your wife ?
ME : 1st October 2009.
At this point the CO stepped aside and started arranging our documents followed by endless typing.
He then stretched his hands and gave us the blue visa collection and told us to come back on Friday morning for our visas. I then asked if i can come alone to collect the visas.

Guys that was it just 2 questions. This miracle is just too much for me. BABA GOD DO AM AGAIN OOOOOOOOOO. HELP ME TO SAY THANK U TO JEHOVAH GOD FOR ALL THAT YOU'VE THAN FOR MY WIFE AND I.

TO THOSE YET TO GO FOR THEIR INTERVIEW REMEMBER TO PRAY BEFORE U GO. AND ITS WELL. SEE U IN AMERICA SOON.

The bulletin according to the website should come out on the 15th but most times it comes earlier. Lets relax till the 15th. I don't think there's any cause for alarm yet. I'm also as anxious as you are but i believe God is in control.

akshow77: Thanks to the almighty God,had my interview at counter 13 with the black american lady around 9.30am and it was successful.more gist when I get to Ibadan.

Idi Amin: I had a successful interview yesterday. After the security checks, i paid my visa fees inside after which a black lady collected my documents.

I was later called at window 14 4 an interview by a white lady and guess what, she was so nice to me.

She took my finger prints and made me took an oath to say the truth and i signed my DS form.

me (laughs) none
co: do u have anybody in the us
me: yes i have now.
co: smiles) put it down in that space

co: i like that{smiles and circles an address} ur visa has been approved congrats. go to the circled adress in 2weeks to collect ur visa.

No question to my wife. Mine was very brief.

And trust me- my testimony is one of d greatest you have ever heard... I'll give a very detailed account of my successful interview experience when I settle down...

Honeydee, pls learn driving as fast as you can before coming, not be able to drive may deny your ability to obtain your US driver's licence on time and without a driver's licence one is just like an handicap.

D 1st tyn I was told wen I went up to meet d CO was congratulatns on winning USA visa lottery.. Asked my abt my educatn.. Told her where&when I did secondary sch&university... Asked weda I was married.. And weda I have kids.. And dt was all...
My uni cert had error on my name bt I took an offical leta from my sch 2back it up and dy didn't even ask me abt it@al....
As long as u av ur 2nd NL&u r a graduate and even if u r nt a graduate, hed WaEc is d minimum.. And u av d exact papers 4d educational qualification u filled in ur form.. No jst worry ur heda unneccessarily.. D visa is urs 2take ....

uchechuwku: It is possible if you have someone living in Lagos or close by. When I got ma police report sometimes around august (for another thing ooo, I'm not a DV winner) I was in akure, ondo state and my brother is in lagos. I went to d police website, downloaded the form. Filled the form, did the finger print myself (very clear one and accurate) then scan it and sent it to my bro's email. He helped me with the police report so dat my application for study permit wldnt be affected. I couldn't go to lagos cos I was writin some exams then. If you need sample, send yur email. I'll forward it to you.. You can get the form from police website.

House plssssss is there no way i can get a police report from nigeria without bn there physically? The cost of my airticket to naij as an additional expense is giving me serious nightmares.
