Ure welcome but do you already have your interview date cos its better to do it close to your interview. I'm nt too sure of how long it takes to expire.

Check to make sure uve not typed zero '0' as the letter 'o' or 'B' as '8' or '1' as 'I'. Check all dat or beta still use the lost confirmation number link. Fill in ur details n let it bring out th number for you.

The petitioner is the principal applicant.You won so you are the petitioner. You put ur name and address.

I do not understand this instruction on form DSP122 "Using the enclosed self-adhesive return address label" what does this mean?

I bliv that was applicable when notifications were sent via mail.just make sure you fill d forms very accurately and send to them. Take your time so you won't have to start looking for ways to make corrections later cos that can be stressful and if possible when ure tru make a copy for urself so you can refer to the info on it anytym.

You only need your Nigeria pp with the VIsa page (provided it is still valid)and your birth certificate, locate The department of Homeland security closest to you.

you just need to go with your passport. i bliv it costs GHC20 or so. not more than GHC30 tho and maybe a lil more if you want to fast track it.

I'm assuming u left naij after the age of 16 and since uve stayed in germany for more than 6mnths youl need the report from the two countries.one from naij and one frm germany.

Police report
Waec cert or evidence of 2yrs work (you shud check for the jobs that qualify tho)
Since you're married - marriage cert. Ud also need pictures and all as evidence of your relatnshp. The dv 2013 thread has a lot more info on interviews for couples but like temmy said this would be needed during your interview. You only send the dsp forms and passport pictures to kcc so u have adequate time to prepare.

I believe your spouse would need a police report as well but since I was single I'd like sm1 else to confirm that and yes you would also need a police report from the country you are in now. I presented police reports from naij and my present country

Its possible but might seem a bit long tho it saved me time n money. I got sm1's contact at alagbon and sm1 collected d fingerprint form from him, sent it to me for fingerprinting to be done at the police hq in my present country.I sent that back to the contact person in nigeria for further processing n the police report was sent to me.There might be an easier way tho. You could ask sm1 to make enquiries in naij for you. Wish you all the best

I hope to be current in the next bulletin and I was thinking I should do it as soon as I get current then come back and focus on the Nigerian aspect of the preparation, you know?

I'm not sure about the expiry but I did mine about 3wks to my interview. I'm guessing d police report should hav a validity of about 3mnths tho but I'd rather u do it at most a mnth to ur interview to be on the safer side.

I had my interview in Accra Ghana this morning. Thanks to God and everyone who prayed for me. My interview was successful. My interview was somehow like a nigerian movie because it has part 1 and 2.

Part 1 was in february.The only question i was asked was what job i was doing. After that, the Female CO said i needed to get a new police report from Nigeria with my full name on it.Im half Nigerian and half Ghanaian and i stayed in nigeria up to the age of 17 so i needed a police report from there.My name on the police report i got from nigeria was shortened so she requested i do another one with my full name and also provide some id cards i used while i lived in Nigeria.

Part 2 was this morning and to God be the glory, the male CO this time did not ask me any question. he just said i should give him the new police report and show him the id cards. He asked for my passport and asked me to come back in three days for my visa.

Im grateful to everyone here. Even those ave never really interacted with because i learnt a lot from your comments. God richly bless you all.
