Its good to be back after a verrrrrry long break, some people ll understand what am saying u knw am a family man and i need to get stable and able to feed my family so i wont be a liability to my host in America, AMERICA is sweet there is no other way i can say it AMERICA is blessed thank God am stable now Glory be to God. I realise what is killing AFRICA is PRIDE that is the reason we re still far from civilization no mater the job u re doing here people ll respect u no boby look down on anybody u ll even earn more better that the so called MANAGER in 9ja or any part in AFRICA. I could remember b4 i came to US people gave me the impression that its only Africans that do ODDs and DIRTY jobs that is a very big lie AMERICANS do all kind of jobs in other to pay their bills.Lastly be prepared to go back to school in other to fit into america system. Police certificates are required from all countries where the applicant has resided for at least one year after attaining the age of sixteen.if u were 16 n above during ur two years in sudan, u would need a police report from sudan.

I tot he was specifically asked not to contact the embassy b4 a given time. I dnt thnk its advisable for him to mail d embassy. In as much as we want to giv advise let's b careful not to put sm1 in trouble.sm1 once said sm1 was denied visa cos he contacted the embassy after he was asked not to.patience is key please #justsaying

Am live @ Atlanta sending this post,i really want to say a very BIG thank u to u all in this forum i got to US on Saturday.my experience ,left MMA1 on saturday 6.50am got to Casablanca morocco on same day by 10.50am ,took another plane to JFK by 12.30pm on Saturday took us 8 hours and touch down @ JFK by 4.50PM America tym,slept over @New York b4 taking another plane DELTA AIRLINE to Atlanta by 8.10am from New York the fligt lasted for 1hour 58 minutes.the weather in New York was verrrrrrry cold but the weather in Atlanta is cold too but not like New York ,as many that re coming to new york shld pls prepare very well and bring good and thick jacket my document was collected @JFK insted of Atlanta the immigration insisted collecting my document said it same process.

peace1166: Thank you rood boy, ya it looks a small mistake, just only one letter difference, between my first name on my passport and on O'level, and I never notice that till this days. IJN I pray, the CO's may not consider that.

If possible to be on the safer side, you can swear an affidavit to show that its the same person.

Police report is 20cedis at police hq but u may want to tip xtra if u want it earlier.i did my medicals at akai house n i paid 425cedis but it depends cos i have already done hepatitis b test n showed them my vaccination card so that was excluded for me. I dnt thnk ul pay more than 500cedis tho

Sheger_Dera: I'm not from Ghana, but it is clear just always go with extra photos, in most cases u need two, but go with foure photos. and go with both of your passports in case they ask, you can show.

U don't need any passport picture, they will take your pic at the police CID headquarters. So just go with your money and passport that's it.

adzovia: your picture will be taken there you dont have to carry any picture along the police service takes their own passport picture all you need is your passport. and for the interview yes carry your expired passport too
