Gentiger: They do. The only advantage is that you are more qualified than an average O'levels holder and your chances are greater.

If it's a locally issued computer engineering certificate, they will return it as unneeded. If it's internationally issues they will accept it.

My Oracle, CCNP, ITIL and MCP were accepted though no questions were asked from those. I wish you success in your application.

junkerhill: Everybody don turn to pastor nw because he/she needs visa to crossover to the other side. Just giv almost all of us 6months after we myt have gotten a job,
we will forget we ever fasted for visa.
We will forget how we always disturb God wit our request for favor and mercy during the interview.
We will forget how we always remind God evry morning that we dnt want to be interviewd by the CO on window 16.
We will forget that person we hav been calling day and night.
Some will be finding it difficult to attend church on sundays.
Now God is enjoying your relationship with Him because He has something that u need. Because He can say just a word and the visa is yours. Once u receive what u ar asking of Him, He won't see u again. Many times God find it difficult to giv us wat we want because, once we receive it, it will turn our face away from Him.
Some would want to crucify me for this but I don't care. Even if u do in your mind, I hav forgiven u already but I beg u in the number God, remember God and never you forget the reason why He gave you life. Never forget the reason why He allowed you to be successful in your interview. Psalm 24:1 Says "the earth is of the Lord's and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it". So remember He owns you, your life, your money, your visa and everything about you. Don't make Him regret why He bless you as He regretted why He created man, Gen6:6.
Some will say "e no fit happen, me wey love God wella. Me wey dey pray to him day and night". Yes its good and I'm happy for you; but let me tell you now that are not wiser than the devil. Christ know how cunning and wise the devil is that's why He told the disciples to "watch always and pray". You can never do it on you own cos "not by power no might....." Zech.4:6.

Thanks to temmytanny, and all other members of this foeum who has by one way or the other contributed to the discccusion in this forum.
My advise to anyone who is yet to do is interview is Please if you are goin first Just pray to the God you worship, he has the finnal say there is no 1 format that they use there in answering questions, please make sure you have photocopies of all your document you are going to pricent to them.becouse that is what as delayed my visa since december till this time, and again please PRAY. THANKS TO all members of this forum GOD BLESS AMERICA

Interview xperience:

I arrived at the embassy exactly 6:45am. The security personnel called us to form a cue which I was in front of that cue.

The firs five people including were called to enter after the check ups had been done.

I got there and was directed to take a seat by this beautiful ghanaian lady who then collected my appointment letter..........
To be more concise, this is what actually happend at window 5.

Me: gud morning
Co: gud morning
Co: how r u
Me:great
Co: which skul are u?
Me: kumasi polytechnic
Co: what prog?
Me: marketing
Co: what kind of marketing
Me: said to myself eish it falls under skull of business and cuts across board.
Co: r u married?

Me: never
Co: where is your skull I'd
Me: not here with me but I ve got my statement of results here.
Co: let me see
Me:.....
Co: give me a minute, pls go and sit down.

I have my documents both the original and the photocopy with them including my passport. Glory be to God.

Got to the embassy @ Cantonments around 6.40am. Passed through the security gate and got seated around 7.15am. Made payment, presented my documents and went for finger print and waited for my name to be called. So i was called to window 4 for my interview.
ME: Raised my right hand and swore to speak the truth and signed the ds form originally sent to kcc
CO: Did you pay in cash?
ME: Yes
CO: did u pay in dollars or in Ghana cedis?
ME: Ghana cedis
CO: Were u given change?
ME: No, paid the exact amount (660.00 cedis)
Co: are u married
Me: no
co: have u ever been married
me: no
co: do u have kids?
me: no
co: when did u complete sss
me: 2005
co: where did u go after sss
me: polytechnic for HND
co: when did u complete?
me: 2009
co: are u sure u graduated?
me: yes i did

i saw this nice young white lady picking a piece of blue sheet and my heart was full of joy. she then said am giving you this visa ticket to come back here on Friday for the visa. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!she congratulated me and i responded thank you.
i joyfully vanished from that place to avoid her saying get back for another question. hahaha
Fellow mates i must confess that there is no secrete than prayers through the name JESUS. present the right documents needed and be very sincere. that is it. GOD will handle the rest
i even made some mistakes in the online registration like the day and month of birth, and my place of birth as well. but was never asked anything about it though i was ready to speak the truth cos the correction was made on the ds form sent to kcc.....The GREAT GOD i serve is wonderful...

I therefore witnessed no one being denied of DV visa except one guy i met. The reason being that the picture he used for the original registration online is different from his real face........ serious...... hhhmmmm

I had my interview dis morning, its interesting because dis forum has been soo much of help to me ive read thru peoples interview and prepared enough for dis but i was surprised after payin my visa fee to d cashier and waited for about 40mins i was called to window 6 where a white gentle man interviewed me but u wouldnt believe dis he didnt ask me any question, all he said was come dis date for ur visa and i answered thank u.

i ve learnt sumtin today guys if u knw u meet d requirement jst prove it with d needed documents don't go with soo many documents because it sumtimes pop soo many question.Thanx to God n every1

am in the office and will surely give the whole detail by tomorrow. GOD is good all the time.
Before I go am urging everyone scheduled for interview to pray hard. The secrete is nothing but prayers. Cos victory is only through the blood of JESUS. I will give the detail tomorrow n u will all witness what God Almighty has done..shalom

Im so happy people have started recvn 2nl. for those wiv interviews coming up.The Good Lord who started this is more than able to complete it. God's favour that made us chosen ones among millions of people who applied for this lottery will never depart from us.it is also good tho that we prepare adequately. For thos in Ghana I made several enquiries about if one cud use the old passport and no1 was 100% sure so I decided to do the new one jus so that wouldn't be an excuse. I would advise evry1 else to try n do dat. Also if there's anyfn ure nt sure of pls do an affidavit. U can keep it in a seperate place till it is requested for.let's not give room for any errors.even if it has to do with only one letter or number on any document.it would also b good if we arrange our documents in 3 different envelopes. One for originals, the second for photocopies(2 each)and the 3rd for any extra document you feel might be needed (in my case for instance I hav an affidavit for my name,my employment letter cos I stated my job even tho I later realised my job doesn't qualify,myold passport ...) This was d advice my friend who won d dv2012 gave me n I just tot I should share with every1. God bless
