Overall 3rd Best UTME Candidate Gets Scholarship From Hon. Tunde Olatunji

The overall 3rd best candidate in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exterminations, UTME Kamarudeen Ridwan is a student of the Ataoja Government High School, Osogbo, Osun State.

Kamorudeen Ridwan ranked 3rd position throughout Nigeria with 319 marks.

The news reaching CHOCHOtv had it that Ridwan Kamarudeen just got scholarship to the higher institution from one of the Best honourable members of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Lekan Olatunji, representing Ife North State Constituency.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost the election in the polling unit of its pioneer national chairman, Bisi Akande.

PREMIUM TIMES reported how Mr Akande voted at his Polling Unit 12, Ward 4, Ita Aewogbade, Ila Local Government Area.

At the end of counting of votes, the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Ademola Adeleke, won the polling unit with 78 votes to the APC’s 49.
The Presiding Officer of the polling unit, Nwadike Ogechi, announced the result at 4:12 p.m. in the presence of voters, journalists, and observers.
Below is the breakdown of the counted votes:

ACD- 1
AGA- 1
APC- 49
PDP- 78
SDP- 19
UPN: 1
Mr Akande earlier assured that his party’s candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, will emerge the winner of the Osun State governorship election.
“My party has always been assured of victory especially in this part of the country, we are everywhere,” he said.
A total of 48 candidates are taking part in the election in the 30 local government areas of the state.

Osun 2018:

Adeleke is not qualified as OYES cadet- Aregbesola.

The State of Osun Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola said PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke is not qualified for recruitment into Osun youth empowerment scheme OYES.

Ogbeni Aregbesola who stated this in osogbo during
endurance trek for twenty thousand newly recruited oyes
cadets.

The Governor noted that Adeleke could not be employed as premises manager at the university of his brother in Ede was seeking to become a governor.

He said the requirement for enlistment into OYES cadets was four credits but Demola only has failure in a single subject he sat for 1981.

Aregbesola maintained that the state needed a competent
hand that would continue with the development stride of his administration.

On his part, APC candidate for September 22nd governorship election in osun state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola promised to continue with the programme when elected as governor. Mr Oyetola called on the people of the state to vote for continuity for overall growth of the state.

He urged the cadets to use the opportunity as a means of
engagement for self reliance.
