video was posted by the sect online , showing Shekau, who was clad in a military fatigue, rained invectives on his enemies: “Here I am, alive, hale and hearty. Sagir Musa should bury himself in shame, President Jonathan (of Nigeria) should bury himself in shame, President Obama (of United States of America) should bury himself in shame, and President Francois Hollande (of France) should bury himself in shame, Queen Elizabeth (of England) should bury herself in shame.

“They said I am dead, but here I am. The world should know that I am alive and will only die at the appointed time. Everybody should be judged according to the dictates of his conscience.

“What I am doing is written in the Holy Qur’an and the Hadith and I will not stop. I challenge all the clerics of the world to question my deeds. Those underrating my capacity should have a re-think. I will never allow democracy to thrive.

“The concept of government of the people by the people for the people will never be possible and will never exist. Democracy shall be replaced only by the government of Allah, from Allah and for Allah.”

He stated the Nigerian military will never subdue his group. “Nigerian soldiers are late. After killing many of them in Monguno and Benisheik, we have snatched their armoured carriers and Hilux vans and then hoisted Islamic flags on them. We now move freely with them,” he said.

meanwhile, the Army Public Relations Unit said it would study the video clips that claimed someone who had died several weeks ago is alive.

TravelFloating City: Plan For 40,000 People To Live On The High Seas by honorsam(op): 8:47pm On Nov 29, 2013
A Florida-based firm wants to create a 'community on the sea' which would circle the globe every two years.
The wealthy could soon choose to spend their entire lives circumnavigating the world on a vast floating city, if the vision of a Florida-based firm becomes reality.
The $10 billion Freedom Ship would offer 40,000 residents a permanent ocean-going home complete with hospitals, schools, shops, parks and even a small airport.
At 25 storeys high and a mile long - four times longer than the Queen Mary II - the 2.7 million-tonne vessel would be so large that it could never enter a port. Instead, it would circle the globe once every two years, anchoring offshore major cities to allow its residents to enjoy some of the world’s top destinations - or shake off any seasickness.
Envisioned to spend approximately 70 per cent of its time moored up and 30 per cent transiting between countries, the Freedom Ship would leave the east coast of the United States in June and cross the Atlantic to Europe. There - to coincide with the summer months - it would loop around the north coast of Scotland to Scandinavia and back through the English Channel before heading down to the Straits of Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean.
Christmas would be spent off the north coast of Africa followed by a jaunt down to the Cape of South Africa in January. The vessel would then head across to Australia in time for the latter months of the Antipodean summer before travelling up through Asia and crossing the Pacific to the US west coast in September.

[i]**If “the Holy Spirit” is a person distinct from the Father, and is also omniscient and almighty “God,” then would He not also have to know the Father and the Son? Jesus’ statement, then, would not have been true, and in fact would be a lie**I perceive that the holy spirit is nat God..

qone are those days when i used to buy...

bread for 10n now 60n.
a bottle of coke for 20n.
abacha cap (snack) five each for 5n etc.

i won`t forqet coins. my dad used to qive me 10n to school everyday which consists coins and sometimes kobo. the funny part is that i will used the money to feed myself and my neiqhbour whom parents doesn`t qive him any money to school and we`ll be over-fed. sometimes i have to scrape the sides of the coin on a sharp floor to make it shiny because the seller miqht not accept it from me if it is rusty. i also would not forqet baba that used to 'dash' us' coins whenever we qo to dance for him at home. (may his soul rest in peace). also, i would not forqet when me and my partners in crime lipsrsealed used to qo to the several three junctions around my crib to pick coins from 'uzobo' (a bini word meaninq fetish sacrifice). why did i centered more on coins?! that's because it`s no lonqer in existence, soon enouqh the 5n will also phases out.
not too lonq aqo there was a thread here on nairaland askinq when was the last time we had 5naira in the wallet https://www.nairaland.com/1439168/when-last-time-n5-wallet that is suppose to be a denomination of a country.
i remember the niqeria currency once had more value than the qhana cedi but today the reverse is the case.
Naija, i hail thee!
naira is worth more than the Cedi bro..

BusinessRe: Nigerian Naira And Its Value by honorsam(m): 1:18am On Oct 10, 2013
Though the naira has had a really bad past which could be attributed to corruption and bad leadership, but it has been showing some improvement and stability lately. What we need is a strong economy which in turn translates to a stable currency.A country's currency is not determined by the strength of its economy alone, thus, relating a country's currency to another at a static period of time is meaningless, the both currencies should be watched over time to come to the conclusion of which is of higher value.Purchasing power and the change in value over time is a very nice indicator to that effect. It is totally wrong to say that the Ghana Cedi for example which exchanges GHS1 for #70 is of higher value than the naira. All hands must be on deck to keep it from falling anymore.
