I'm yet to receive my admission letter having been approved by the pg board since 18th of April. I went to the netque office last week to complain and after checking their system I was told its rejected by pg board. I was so confused and I had to check my phone again and I saw approved by pg board on my tracking page then I showed it to the man. I later went to the department to find out what the problem was and the hod told me that I have already been admitted by the department and in fact I have been given a supervisor. So she said I should go back to the netque office to complain that the problem is with them. However, I went back to the netque office and I was asked to check one register to confirm if they've received my transcript. So I saw my name on the register indicating that they've received it since 11th of march. The man later told me there was no problem that I should expect my admission letter this week but up till this moment I haven't received it. I don't know if something is wrong.

I can't wait for ds lazy lecturers to resume.... FREE ADVICE....If ure coming in for ur PGD/M.SC/M.Phil/PhD programme,start gathering course materials used during previous session. cos in OAU hardly change course contents but they usually change lecturers handling those courses frm time to time.....
And I wouldn't advice you to leave ur present job because of this programme(keep ur job) cos u only have 2-semesters to complete ur course work after which if u have nothing doing(job) u will be bored to the bone,and the worst is been financially broke....many times I've be approached by a postgraduate stdnt on d walkway(on my way to buttery)beging for just #100......Peace

but admission letter instructs we pay acceptance fee before d end of one mnth..else d admission will b withdrawn

UK rules are pretty strict now that after ur studies, ur expected to pack ur load and return to ur home. And even if u find a way of staying back, it will take u years to buy that range rover - why? BillS.
Just go for the lecturing job and u could go for ur masters by taking a study leave so even after u come back, ull still have your joB And with a higher pay too.

You can also try finding a way to get urself posted to the university( provided ur qualified) as ur ppa so u don't lose the offer.

why is it happening at this time that FG have announced a relieve package for Osun state that their allocations wont be deduct at source for this month.

Something tells me the kidnappers want to collect their shares from the allocation

What If the kidnappers requested for 12M as ransom, Is Osun not back to square one .

I finished my masters from oau last year... And just got admission again for Phd this March too... Have read through most of the recent posts and I believe every one that responded to questions were only giving informations according to their knowledge and experiences. Some ppl got admission a month b4 resumption while some got admission letter and school didn't resume for 3 months. When I got my admission back in 2013, u could pay ur acceptance fee without paying the school fee for the semester. But that changed a month into the semester, you must pay all ur fees at once (both acceptance and tuition). Or u won't be able to register your courses online, which I believe is still the rule till last admission, the pg college change their policies so often they create confusion, I heard of one recently that baffled me. And if u want to get accommodation in the pg hall, you have no choice but to pay all your fees once registration starts online at Netque not just acceptance fees but all fees for the semester. plus this does not guarantee that you will even get the accommodation, it's a rigorous process and without proper experience or someone to guide you, u may not get accommodation in the hall.
