PoliticsRe: N23bn Election Fund: How N900m Was Shared In Gombe, Adamawa by hoodboy(m): 9:07am On May 26, 2016
tbaba1234:
Hypothetical case: You start a new job as a manager and in the process of looking through the finances, you find money diverted. Your investigation is not about the purpose of the money but about the diversion.

They are not investigating party's source of funding'
That it what it has turned out to be...and that being the case, they should be fair to all parties and investigate how funds were sourced and gotten for Buhari's campaign. If government(state) money was used then those involved should be prosecuted for corruption as well.
PoliticsRe: N23bn Election Fund: How N900m Was Shared In Gombe, Adamawa by hoodboy(m): 8:39am On May 26, 2016
tbaba1234:
Government is not investigating Party Campaign funds. It is investigating stolen federal funds.
Government money is government money, whether federal or state. since they have chosen to tow the path in their corruption fight i.e tracing and investigating PDP's source of funding for the las election, they should also investigate the source of the campaign funds used by APC.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Increase: Nigerians Lament On Twitter by hoodboy(m): 11:46pm On May 11, 2016
otokx:
The complaint is from mainly Lagos and Abuja people, for those in Port Harcourt that bought fuel at 200 naira per litre 145 is hard but not too hard.

Anyway its now a winner takes all while the spectators watch in amazement.
your blind support for this government is sickening
EducationRe: Military Beats Students Inside Uniport by hoodboy(m): 11:06pm On Apr 12, 2016
peeps stop being ignorant, how can you give people less than 24hrs to vacate the hostels including people who have paid their hostel fees...there is hardly any person who is financially buoyant that will stay on campus, this period (end of semester) is when students are the most broke. dunno how you'd expect students who are barely managing to just up and leave the hostels to their various homes
PoliticsRe: Many States Want To Replicate Religious Bill, They’ve Asked For Our Copy – El-ru by hoodboy(m): 10:21pm On Mar 30, 2016
My major contention with this bill is the attempt to regulate religion by licensing preachers, that to me is a no-no and is against the principle of freedom of expression.

I do not have to apply for a license to propagate my faith, under what considerations will the licenses be issued? At whose discretion or indiscretion will the licences be issued, will they give "targeted" licences just as CBN did targeted recruitments?

Government has no business giving license to preach, however is a preacher runs foul of the law definitely be can be tried under existing laws doe whatever crime has been committed.

This law they seek to enact is mundane and archaic and should be resisted by all good thinking Nigerians.
WebmastersDifficulty Accessing Linda Ikejis Blog by hoodboy(op): 6:02pm On Mar 27, 2016
I've been having difficulties accessing Linda's blog, was wondering if it was a network issue (Etisalat) until some poster created a similar topic which was closed by the mods, I wonder if the problem if widespread.

currently accessing the site through VPN, hope this is not a test run by the Government to regulate social media as suggested in the earlier topic that was closed.

When they finally release everything, hopefully you will be able to say this.
If and when they do then we can properly understand the situation...the media is expected to give us balanced reportage not this one-sidedness that can lead to drawing wrong conclusions
PoliticsRe: Records Of Calls Between Tarfa And Yunusa Obtained By Sahara Reporters by hoodboy(m): 8:35am On Feb 11, 2016
yommys01:
If there prior contacts, Saharareporters won't have been so bold. They are not dumb.
Assumption is the mother of all fu.kups, and that's what you are doing, Sahara reporters are simply playing on Nigerians naivety, they had conversations, so what why not go a step further and tell us the content of their discussions before you pass a guilty or not guilty verdict
PoliticsRe: Records Of Calls Between Tarfa And Yunusa Obtained By Sahara Reporters by hoodboy(m): 7:24am On Feb 11, 2016
yommys01:
It is not a crime. It is however curious that no previous conversation existed between them before the case.

Also, it is unethical for a lawyer and a judge to speak before a case.

You PDP/GEJ fans won't actually say the truth for once. Can't believe you came up with that epic nonsense as a defense.
And where was it established that there was no prior contact other than these captured ones
PoliticsRe: Records Of Calls Between Tarfa And Yunusa Obtained By Sahara Reporters by hoodboy(m): 4:35pm On Feb 10, 2016
Enlighten me, is it a crime for them to have conversations over the phone, it's not lime we are privy to the content of their discussions to pass a judgement solely based on record of calls

Forget paid employment, look for someone that will dash you or lend you 70k, go the nearest large poultry farm buy 100 crates of large egg at 600 per crate that is 60000 for 100 crates, distribute them to shops for 650 - 700 per crate to retailers you make 5000-10000 from this if you do that twice weekly you make 10k-20k weekly, turnover the profit and capital continuously, come back tell us your story after 3 months.

God bless your hustles.
Not a bad idea, bur you forgot to factor in logistics cost.
PoliticsRe: Alibaba Slam Politicians For Trying To Use The Constitution In Their Favour by hoodboy(m): 8:35am On Jan 19, 2016
The constitution gives government it's legitimacy, there are laid down rules for prosecuting offenders, those rules should be followed because if we begin to choose which we'd honour and which we'd ignore, it would ultimately end in Anarchy.

Lol. LASMOCK badagry...I and my goons by 1am would enter into the kitchen and steal all the food we can eat and take garri to the hostel as Garri then was a priceless commodity.. We would also climb one big tree by the side of Girls hostel to watch them bath by 5am and we would be the first to enter dining hall just to slam another plate of food on our own and consume it quick before anyone come in so that they would not notice.
*escape school without exeat and come back 4 weeks later.. Deyom
* Enter Bush just to escape morning prep and Siesta.
* take hot charcoal from the kitchen and start a fire in the bush and turn to hunters awaiting any chicken we can lay hands on or teacher;s corn we can roast and eat..

FamilyRe: Thanks TeHN by hoodboy(m): 11:13pm On Sep 28, 2015
I honestly don't know why seen thinks he should proscribe the activities of TEHN on this forum, if anything, TEHN remains one of the great positives that has come off Nairaland, keeping in mind plenty trash that also goes on here, at least I have been scammed here from a paid ad which he benefitted from (ad cost). I honestly was thinking of doing my M.A Thesis on TEHN, still might... Congrats don8, may this child bring joy unquenchable to your household

Nairaland GeneralRe: Rule 22 Against Asking For Money On Nairaland by hoodboy(m): 9:05pm On Sep 20, 2015
Dude doesn't realise that Nairaland is beyond him, is he the one that creates the contents that fuel conversations that keeps the site buzzing? It is Us Nairalanders, without people posting contents what will Nairaland be? If he were to run it like a blog I doubt he'd be quarter as successful as lindaikeji, and that is one big difference between a blog and a forum.
