Their condition of service of course. I was informed they have some allowances which the Universities don't have.

Academic and Non-academic staff are not collecting same pay. That of academic staff is higher. The salary for FCoE is higher than their colleagues in the Universities. I don't know their exact salary but is better thank universities. Somebody with Msc in the University should collect less than 120K with the minimum wage increase.

You know the issue of this IPPIS. That's what drained the minimum wage increase. For study grant there is Tetfund grant for Master and PhD studies in Nigeria and abroad. However, your university may decide not to nominate you for overseas Tetfund sponsorship especially if they offer your course at Master level locally. And for PhD there are high chances you will get the overseas sponsorship and the money is huge .

With the minimum wage increase you should expect something like 2K added to your salary. I am sure GA should collect less than 110K. I am a lecturer with one of the FG Universities for over 8 years now.
