I knew ladan won't escape it.its all good as he has completed everything concerning this recruitment,they should be able to do the needful by next week.

I think Ladan should have concluded the recruitment exercise before exiting. With this development, in my personal opinion, only God Almighty can save us.

LADAN BOWS OUT OF DPR

Following the expiration of the tenure of Mr. Mordecai Ladan as the Director of Petroleum Resources, and in line with the provisions of Circular Ref. No.SGF.50/S.II/C.S/268, the former Director (2015 - 2019) has formally handed over the affairs of the Department to the most senior officer Mr. Ahmed Rufai Shakur, the Deputy Director and Head, Corporate Services Division in an Acting capacity.

Mr Shakur comes on board with over 32 years experience in the oil and gas industry with very robust service records in the regulatory arm of the sector.

A graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University with a Master of Business Administration degree. Mr. Shakur has held various positions across the value chain of the DPR from the zonal offices to headquarter and has attended numerous management and leadership courses locally and internationally in notable institutions worldwide like the Columbia Business School, New York USA and Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, USA.

Embodied with renowned past records in strategic leadership, corporate governance and optimal performance, Mr Shakur is expected to steer the Department to the next level.

We actually need update on this. Anybody with update regarding the Director's tenure extension should pls update the house.

My second advice is that, they are very much ready for u, do not embark on any protest with regards this recruitment without a shred of evidence please.

What can you say about the already compiled second batch/list?

The body responsible for ensuring equity and fairness are now part of the forces in trading the second batch btw the DG and presidency for tenure elongation.
My advice to those who put their trust in God alone to move on with their life and look for other opportunities, its a very sad fact but true. The recruitment is still on but until u are connected otherwise u remain in the dark about it.

It got a lot to do with the 2nd batch because once Ladan isn't return DG of the DPR, all his candidate won't be considered as the new DG will definitely take over the 2nd batch and bring in his/her people. It happens when Mr. Andrew Obaje was removed by Desieni. All Andrew OBAJE candidate were dropped.

Ladan's tenure ends on Monday next week.

As far as the portals are still active, I don't think DPR is done with us.

As regards the second batch have told you guys time without number that there is no second batch and what you should be expecting is replacement and that will come up later in the year and it will not be an open stuff.

Sorry to say, but you are the one that is not informed. The better name for this your mysterious list is replacement not 2nd batch. It's for the connected and some has been contacted. There is no straight list apart from the first batch. I just pity your brains
