Nigerian military should as a matter of urgency be relocated to parts of northern and middle Nigeria where they are needed the most.

Stop the tribalistic hateful policies towards igbos.

If your fear is that igbos will leave Nigeria, then do the right things to make them stay.

We know the reason they're there and are steps ahead of them. Watch and see how all their evil plans crumble immediately they roll them out.

Military checkpoints are actually the weakest points of defense in a guerrilla warfare. They are like sitting ducks and can be terminated easily.

The truth remains that the vast majority of igbos are not interested in Biafra but Nigeria with their tribalistic stupidity can eventually push igbos in that direction.

That us just one of the lowly reasons. There are still many more you don't know about.

And you know?

Cut the silly excuses. If it’s about stopping Biafra, they have failed already because if the vast majority of Igbos decide to leave Nigeria, nothing and I mean nothing will stop them.

For now, most igbos are not there yet. But Nigeria will eventually push them to that point if they keep being stupid and tribalistic.

There's a very good reason why all those checkpoints are stationed there. What you don't know is bigger than you undecided

The reason is simple buhari put them there but today his state Katsina is overrun by bandits. He can’t even escape to Niger republic.
Politics / Real Reason Why Insecurity Is Getting Worse In Nigeria by horsepower102: 5:05pm On Feb 27
It turns out that most of Nigerian military is stationed in the south east with road blocks every few km. Mind you statistics done by Nigeria has always had south east as the safest zone yet that’s where most of the military is stationed.

All they do is collect bribe while Fulani herdsmen, insurgents, kidnappers, armed robbers and bandits are running wild all over the rest of Nigeria.

Independent journalists found out that there are currently 1876 military checkpoints in the south east. This is a huge chunk of Nigerian military force.

Tribalism and hatred for Igbos will remain the downfall of Nigeria.

Yes credit must be given to whom it’s due to. Ikpeazu helped a lot just like he also helped with Enyimba economic city.

Just because he has his problems in leadership doesn’t mean we deny the good things he did.

The second and perhaps even more consequential project is the new Enyimba Economic City project whose construction is due to be launched by the second quarter of 2024. By design and conception, it would seem that the Geometric Aba Integrated Power Project was intended to serve the power needs of the new Enyimba Economic City. The new City is conceived as a new adjunct modern city to the old Aba. Its purpose is to actualize all the modernization needs of Aba as a centre of economic development, industry and commerce, serving the entire South East and South South zones of the country.

The new Enyimba Economic City is the brainchild of yet anther private sector giant, Mr. Darlington Uzu, frontline real estate mega entrepreneur whose footprints in the industry are unmistakable. He is the owner and driver of Crown Realties with vast billion dollar estates in Lagos and Abuja. The new Enyimba Economic City is financed, like the Geometric Power project, by the AfreximBank . To demonstrate the strategic linkage between these two signature projects, the Enyimba Economic City has signed a 90 MW Power Purchase Agreement(PPA) with Geometrics Aba Independent Power Project to service the first phase of Enyimba Economic City due to be flagged off in the second quarter of 2024.

The new city is located on 1,499 hectares of land. The initial cost of the first phase of the real estate is put at $288.7 million. The new city is located in three local governments of Abia state adjoining Aba commercial city, namely, Ukwa East, Ukwa West and Ugwunagbo. The city is designed to cover the main strategic areas of modern economic city life in an integrated whole. Its main sectors include manufacturing, entertainment, tourism/hospitality, aviation, education, technology, innovation, lifestyle and a logistics park plus a residential park with all the major modern amenities for modern convenient living. Ahead of its take off, some major global brands in the various areas of its coverage have already signed up to have a presence in the new city. Therefore, for those who will make a living in the new Enyimba Economic City, the best of leisure, entertainment, relaxation and healthcare will complement the challenges of manufacturing, logistics and daily office work.

The new Enyimba Economic City is Nigeria’s first industrial township with full Origin and Destination (O&grin) status. For access to major national centres of social and economic activity, the city includes an Inland Port connected by rail to both the Port Harcourt and Onne seaports. For highway access, Enyimba Economic City is linked to two major highway links. These are the Enugu-Port Harcourt highway(200 Km) and the Onitsha-Owerri- Aba (161km) highway. Access of the new city to these highways have received federal government concessionary approvals.

On a level playground Aba remains the most strategically located Nigerian city. Aba is surrounded by four state capitals less than one hour journey away. As the power of FG wane and pure capitalist economy emerges, SE will take it rightful place. As usual, we always evolve ahead of time.

Aba is on a rapid journey to regain its rightful place since democracy came back in 1999. It suffered series of bad leadership for 24 years.

Imagine what could have been if the right leaders came to power. It would be miles ahead all the cities in Nigeria.

With Geometric Power AIPP ready, Enyimba Economic City first phase is ready to take-off

Enyimba Economic City Development Company FZE, the developers of Enyimba Economic City, a 9,803 Hectares Greenfield Special Economic Zone in Abia State, a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project of Crown Realties Plc., Abia State Government and Federal Government of Nigeria under the Made in Nigeria for Export (MINE) programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria, congratulates Geometric Power on the official commissioning of Aba Integrated Power Project (AIPP).

Aba Integrated Power Project ring-fenced nine (9) local governments of Abia State including the commercial and industrial city of Aba for provision of 24/7 power supply. By the ring-fence, AIPP is a full utility company in the entire value chain of power business including generation, distribution and marketing.

The ceremony is the commissioning by and the esteem presence of The President of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Monday 26 February, 2024, of its 188 MW gas-powered generation plant in Osisioma, Aba, Abia State. The event is poised to draw dignitaries from across the country and businesses.

Enyimba Economic City and Geometric AIPP are jointly financed by African Export Import Bank, Cairo, Egypt, at the back of each other. Geometric AIPP is the Bank’s recognised power partner for Enyimba Economic City, with which it has signed a 90MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the first phase of Enyimba Economic City. This momentous occasion therefore, not only signifies the launch of Geometric Power operation but also marks the significant step towards the take-off of $288.7 million, first phase of the project.

Enyimba Economic City is located in three local governments of Abia State, Ukwa West, Ukwa East and Ugwunagbo with growth sectors in Manufacturing, Logistics, Healthcare, Entertainment, Education, Innovation and Technology Hub, Commercial, Lifestyle Residential and Aviation. F

The first phase of the project is 1,499 hectares of land that includes First Industrial Township and Logistics Park with Full Origin and Destination (OD) Inland Port connected by rail to both Port Harcourt and Onne seaports. On 14 November, 2023, the Board of Afreximbank approved $201.7million syndicated debt for the project with Afreximbank underwriting $150million. Currently, the loan legal documentation is ongoing.

The two (2) interstate highways that are vital for connectivity for the project, Enugu – Port Harcourt (200km) and Onitsha – Owerri – Aba (161km) are also concessioned to a consortium led by Enyimba Economic City Development Company FZE that includes CCECC Nigeria Limited (EPC), Escher Silverman Global, UK (Technical), Instatoll of South Africa (Operations & Management) and Afrinvest (WA) Limited (Financial). Route Survey, Redesign, Traffic Studies, Revenue Modelling, Willingness to Pay Studies, are currently ongoing on the roads. With the planned 82km highway from Azumini in Abia State bisecting the A3-Enugu Port Harcourt Highway to Obinze in Owerri, the intervention on the external connectivity makes Enyimba Economic City 90 minutes driving distance accessible to the 11 states of Southsouth/Southeast of Nigeria and connected to economic activities of the whole Nigeria. The intermodal logistics, road, rail, airport and seaports is also planned to make Enyimba Economic City a “global business hub in Nigeria” and African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) compliant.

It is noteworthy that Enyimba Economic City won the first prize of the Global New Cities Business Plan Contest of the Chartered Cities Institute in Washington DC in 2019, beating Black Stone Charter City in Australia to second prize and Novgorod New Hanse Town in Russia to third place, as a new city that has the capacity to transform the economy of the country. The award included a US$25,000 cash prize.

Enyimba Economic City Development Company FZE has started to build marketing teams by engaging zone marketing/FDI Companies in India (Crescendo Worldwide), China (Brilliance Co. Limited) and Nigeria (Commodities Development Initiative). There are a total 127 manufacturing leads from the three (3) territories currently.

The project is planned to be launched by Q2 of 2024.

Once again, congratulations to our esteemed partners, Geometric AIPP, their indefatigable Chairman, Prof Bart Nnaji and the Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Alex Otti.

So are you trying to tell me that the people who are learning lesson from the lesson teachers are about to have 24/7 electricity supply in the same obodo Nigeria?

On ya mandate Biko

It took 20 years of sacrifices, hardwork and disappointments. Prof Barth Nnaji has the indomitable spirit of an Igbo man. He even had to step down his role as minister of power during GEJ administration because some people (we know who they are) said it was conflict of interest.

But he persisted in that project and never gave up.

Today Aba and surrounding 9 LGA are about to be the first place in Nigeria with guaranteed 24/7 electricity.

These food products oftentimes seized by customs are passed of as expired, dangerous and not fit for human consumption.
These products are the released to idp camps or auctioned to the public after a while to be consumed.

It's all deception!

If you don’t bribe them enough they seize your goods and make up reasons.

Later they take those same food to feed people.

I don't know why a lot of you people love lying.

How can you import food products through the right process, pay all the necessary bills and still get your goods confiscated... Do you think we're kids here?

You have never dealt with customs before. I have. It’s a terrible experience. It’s a moving goal post for those people.

If someone in customs decide now that your good won’t be cleared no matter how much English you speak or constitution you quote, they don’t give a damn.

Why should they destroy the goods when they are fit for consumption?

Just the way people support conversion of seized properties to Public parks, police stations, etc. instead of outright demolition. Giving seized and 'fit for consumption' food items makes more sense.

I am pretty sure you are also against destruction of seized oil vessels for environmental, economic and other reasons. Same logic applies here.

My guy, importing things especially food products into Nigeria is a very difficult process. Then you still have to pay bribe to customs. Then after all that hard work, they tell you that your goods are contraband or illegal to import and they seize it.

Years later your seized goods is being used to feed others. How would you as an importer feel?

In most countries when goods are seized because they are considered illegal, they are immediately destroyed but in Nigeria they seize your goods and later share it to another group of people.

If you write a book about the horrific things happening in Nigeria most people won’t believe it.

When buhari started his presidency, one of the first things he did was to order all the seized food products from hard working importers to be distributed to northerners.

Back then Nobody said anything.

Today, Tinubu has ordered the same thing.

Now does the government have a right to seize someone’s goods and later distribute it to the citizens?
